Do people actually like this cringe factory's content?
He's far less funny than the films he claims aren't funny.

The early Unbridled X's were pretty good. After that though it's been way too much fart huffing and surrounding himself with sycophants. On the upside though he really upsets the "that's toxic" and "that's problematic" crowd.
Oh boy, where do I even begin.
Mauler is a bigger mouse shill than I am, he actually watches the shit.
His videos are fine. The podcasts are terrible though. The guests he has on make it unwatchable.
Mauler is fucking based and you're a supreme faggot desu
I watch it so you don't have to.
>mouse shill
he hates all of the new movies and goes in depth into why they're awful what are you talking about
>BRO, PLANK LOL
>BRO, YOUNGLEDOR LOL
You need to go back
>he hates all of the new movies
youtube.com
Yes that's nice you listened to the first 5 minutes and generalized I get it
good for you fucking faggot tell me more
all of the new star wars movies
and he's right about infinity war
it was good and you know it was
>and goes in depth into why they're awful
>in depth
We're talking about a guy who only talks about capeshit and capeshit aligned media, there's no depth to his content at all.
It's like a CinemaSins video stretched out to the runtime of the actual film.
He has enough goodwill leftover from his 9000 part series of telling Hbomberguy to suck a chode that I’m unwilling to not give him the benefit of the doubt, but I do think he has pretty pedestrian tastes in movies and wastes way too much time on Star Wars.
If you don't want to listen to his videos you don't have to. I like his long form content, it's good for falling asleep to.
That's a disingenuous comparison considering CS is mostly arbitrary with no arguments or facts the majority of the time.
Mauler's content is pretty autistic but he does attempt to keep to the facts..
Please link me your in depth intellectual youtube movie reviewer.
Mauler always complains about CinemaSins tier shit though
>Marvel flicks priorities comedy over realism or urgency
I can imagine the ding following all of his points.
This. I love his actual reviews, but the 5 hour podcasts drive me nuts
Except if it were CS that would be the end of it instead of describing how the stakes or tone were shattered by a low tier joke by going through just what it did to the script.
Mauler attacks low hanging capeshit fruit but the fact that faggots like you seem to think that they're defendably good are the reason I appreciate his content.
>this is shit
>WEEEELLL THEN DONT WATCH IT
you have to watch something at least once to come to the conclusion that it sucks
could also say that about him and his reviews no?
>Marvel flicks priorities comedy over realism or urgency
That was 50% of his arguments in his Captain Marvel Unbridled video.
Jay was unironically the best thing to happen to it because wolf is an overly aggressive twat who thinks stating his opinions aggressively and snarkily somehow turns them into facts and jay cuts that.
Do people think CinemaSins is a actual movie review channel? Its been a while since i watched one their videos but i remember its just family guy-tier comedy
I'm pretty sure the majority of his arguments were centered around the idea that Captain Marvel as a movie and a character are flat, poorly thought out additions to a universe that failed at endearing you to a shoe-horned character because all it could do was tell you that she was great, not show it, because the writing was attrocious.
>criticizing the argument means you like the thing in the discussion
You aren't though. You've made a single point that he isn't funny and that the review was all about how movie comedy BAD when really HIS comedy is bad. That's not a compelling argument because it isn't even close to a quarter of the problems with the movie.
Why did you even watch it?
I like longform film analysis videos.

A summary of the Unbridled series.
His actual reviews are ok I guess. The podcasts where he nitpicks some autist's youtube videos with cringe furries for five fucking hours are fucking horrible though.
>points out flaw
>that was bad writing
Congratulations you just summed up the reviewing process. Would you also like to explain how to boil water while you're at it?
>what is editing
>what is directing
>what is score
>what is acting
>what is pacing
>what is design
>what is cinematography
>what is lighting
I just wish he would make a review of an actual movie, instead of Disney cashgrabs.
There's a reason why he reviews Disney "turn your brain off" flicks, user.
Isn't he just talking about the story though? Please linke me your intellectual youtube movie reviewer so I know what standards you're setting.
I feel like his presence helps allieviate the notion that not everyone actually buys into the garbage Disney aborts yearly but it's definitely always an easy target considered they're rushed and soulless
His Dark Souls 2 videos were amazing in that it was just extremely autistic. Replied to a video line by line and it took 9 hours. His Last Jedi stuff was alright because you can tell he actually cared about the subject matter, but the later stuff has been pretty bland. His weird furry friends are fucking awful though.
>Please linke me your intellectual youtube movie reviewer so I know what standards you're setting
I don't need to, just look it up

>His Dark Souls 2 videos were amazing in that it was just extremely autistic
Yeah, his video game videos are much better than his film ones, and yet they're his least viewed mainline videos.
I miss videogame Mauler, Outlast blew.
>WEURST
Yooka Laylee is kusoge
DAMN mouseshills are SEETHING
Mauler isnt an intelligent or tasteful critic like Armond. I dont consider his videos to be a film analysis. They just show how shit Nu-Wars is when a total amateur like him can point out basic surface level flaws for hours. Its not like those flicks actually have much of a deeper layer to think about.
>"Why can't these movies make assumptions for me!?!"
Imagine what he'd be like if he watched a film that actually took thought to watch.
>It's like a CinemaSins video stretched out to the runtime of the actual film.
This
Yeah he's overlong and gets some details wrong, but he makes good points. If he could streamline his shit he'd be great.
To simply eat a potato would not be enough to savour an entire meal.
>food analogy
A trilogy of films written by eight women seems to be lacking in the food department. Even The Godfather trilogy had a hearty meal every few minutes.
