>What is The Last Drive-In? The Last Drive-In is a double feature of horror flicks hosted by the worlds first and foremost drive-in movie critic Joe Bob Briggs.
>Who is Joe Bob Briggs? Joe Bob Briggs is a redneck movie critic and horror host from Texas, famous for shows such as "Joe Bob's Drive-In Theater" and "Monstervision". After 18 years of absence, he finally returned in 2018 for his revival series "The Last Drive-In".
>Where can I watch The Last Drive-In? On Shudder's livestream channel "It Came From Shudder". shudder.com/shudder-tv
Joe Bob has provided three hints for tonight's double feature: 1) Both movies are about serial killers, but one's a villain and one's a hero. 2) Both movies are set in exotic places, like Staten Island. 3) The second one stars an icon.
Touch early but ok. What’s tonight’s flick anyway?
Juan Reyes
So we shitpost for like an hour?
Brody Watson
With the exception of Q, the movies are never announced in advance. Also these threads always seem to get posted once the countdown starts, which makes sense to me.
I don't really care as long as it's not before the countdown.
Owen Long
Any streams a-happenin'?
Grayson Miller
Brettygood
Jonathan Cruz
Mandatory " if you don't have shudder or you can't get it, you can come watch with us on brettygood" post I'm guessing the movies are Tenebre and Maniac
Justin Reed
Excellent.
Benjamin Diaz
I'll join y'all if the stream constantly buffers like it did last week
i'm the user who posted in the thread last week about seeing him in MS. bros if you ever get a chance to see joe bob do anything live, intro a movie, give a presentation, read the phone book, whatever. do it. you will not regret it. he's the best.
it was a close one. got to the theater before it hit. the guy who intro'd joe bob said some people chickened out due to the tornado warnings. thanks again for posting it. never would've heard about it otherwise.
Asher Edwards
Oh course.
Chase Moore
C'monnn, The Void...
Jordan Hernandez
He started his career in movies because the yakuza used his cheap movies as money laundering outlets which in turn let him make whatever he wanted without having to think about how much money it actually made.
Jaxson Williams
Hell yeah. Her and Elvira.
Noah Sullivan
I torrented an old Joe Bob of Mouth of Madness the other day 'cause I was feeling like a John Carpenter marathon. He had Rhonda on as a guest and they just spent two hours talking about aardvarking. Good times.
Tyler Morris
I bet he's turned into a giant faggot hasn't he?
Owen Jenkins
What a fucking great time to be alive, you guys.
Liam Sullivan
Mad man
Daniel Campbell
Just shut the fuck up and watch it or don't you dumb bitch.
Grayson Hernandez
I'm glad one of us got to go. I'm in his home state, so I'm sure I'll get my chance one of these days.
Go to brettygood stream. Those guys do a good job.
Jaxson Williams
Joe Bob literally give no fucks about anything that involves hash tags or woke politics. I can't remember the last time I saw someone just fucking preach outside of problematic YouTube channels.
Jonathan Rivera
The tank is too small for him but he only stays in it during shoots which is fine.
I saw some video of her taking it up the ass but it didn't do anything for me.
Nathaniel Wilson
Blacked
Robert Rogers
He's based and redpilled. He's actually bashing third wave feminists and Meryl Streep right now.
Jayden Hill
reminder kayo is a fucking plebshit retard faggot
Isaac Jackson
>Joe Bob shitting on Affirmative Action in Hollywood.
Joe Bob is awesome. After that Trump rant during the first marathon, /pol/tards all thought he was on their side, the redditors all thought he was on their's and JBB was just looking knowingly at the camera trying not to laugh.
It was classic.
Cooper Smith
A movie so redpilled even the soundtrack says REEEEEEE.
Parker Roberts
Based Ernie.
Landon Bailey
I fucking love it when an 80s movie starts with an establishing shot that basically says, "These fucking sexless tards are going to be dying soon. Enjoy!"
Samuel Gray
Frank Stallone over here.
Jordan Cook
I'm looking forward to watching a bunch of Staten Island dagos get slaughtered.
Asher Adams
This movie is already weird
Camden Hernandez
Yeah I'm just going to watch for the Joe Bob parts and funny kills
Wyatt Williams
Why are they smiling at a story about an axe murderer killing his family?
Browse through the pages for links to monstervision shows. There are a lot of VHS rips.
Zachary Mitchell
I actually like it so far, seems like fun
Christian Lopez
HE SAID IT. THE MADLAD.
Jackson Russell
You never went to camp? Telling a local murderer is loose story is obligatory.
Asher Torres
this
Cameron White
Thanks Darcy
Jaxon Scott
If you've ever been to Summer Camp, you have to put on a brave face for your peers during ghost stories and not let anyone see you pissing yourself every time you hear something in the woods.
Connor Harris
Madman Marz the first Candlejack. Pretty go
Benjamin Evans
Thank God child actors are actually pretty decent nowadays
I know, that's why I'm asking. Before I assumed maybe it had something to do with needin time to roll the movie but he's still doing it today. I like it, just curious
Hunter Flores
Decent. Small and perky.
Easton Campbell
Dis wop dago fukkin ded
Isaiah Parker
Sorta habit and sorta warning - that it's going back to the movie after a quick comment type of thing.
Landon Long
i always figured it's just another shtick >back to the movie, oh yeah and also.. >rambles off more facts and jokes
Jose Martin
Think of it more as a running gag that became a trademark of his.
William Sullivan
It makes everything hella comfy so I'm not complaining.
Parker Reyes
The killer's feet look like they're part of some really weird fursuit
Nathan Nguyen
I think it has something to do with movie reels needing a minute to start up. I could be horribly wrong though.
So when he says back to the movie that’s the queue to start the movie reel up again. And while he waits for it to start up he’s gonna chat a little longer till it finally starts.
Easton Price
always wondered why people don't do that (climb up the rope) in moveis when they're being hung
Evan Johnson
That was actually a pretty good non-gory death scene
Jace Sanchez
A good percentage of adults are too out of shape to climb a rope. That combined with the shock of what's happening and the blood being cut off from their brains, I assume.
Jordan Watson
Agreed. Friday nights are now the comfiest time on Yea Forums. A bunch of horror and nostalgia bros watching something we actually enjoy watching.
But no reels are involved in his show and they weren’t involved in his old show. It’s just a schtick that he does.
Josiah Mitchell
This movie feels incredibly schlocky.
Michael Edwards
I was going to say for a slasher film done so early in the genre and borrowing heavily from Friday the 13th, it actually isn't that bad.
Ayden Russell
Maybe it has something to do with how Drive In theatres worked?
Liam Sanders
It’s just a schtick he does. It has nothing to do with anything.
Henry Long
True this feels more original than shit like Fall Break aka The Mutilator.
Zachary Campbell
Did Aristotle really say that? I mean most Greek mythological stories take place over a long span of time. 7year Siege of Troy comes to mind, or the Oddysey
I dunno if Joe Bob or Shudder set a year limit to the movies they show on the last drive on, but I'd really like an "Asian" night with korean movie The Host (2006) and pair it with the japanese movie House (1977)
Kevin Nguyen
after last week's show i'm pretty sure the only limit is whatever shudder has the rights to
Kayden Wright
Any other recommendations?
Justin Flores
The Drive In I used to go to in college was still using reels and a projector but that was back in 2005. It was build in 1948 though and burned down in 2010.
There's one near where I live now. Double feature for half the price of a movie but I think it is more new school in regards to the projector.
Hudson Gray
The Host is on the site, but it looks like House isn't on it yet.
Also pretty cool death scene. Hood decapitation.
Luke Hall
I’m not so sure, I think is more what Amazon has rights to, weirdly. Amazon and Shudder will rotate what is on demand, one has it, then the other, then neither, the one has it...etc.
Liam Roberts
Cougars in heat.
Cameron Wilson
He ran a Takashi Miike film not too long ago and I'm pretty sure he's a big fan of The Host.
Shudder is definitely not censoring Joe Bob. He might have been testing that with Society.
Robert Jackson
Isn't Shudder an AMC thing?
Alexander Hill
I mean, sure? I just know what I’ve seen on my queue.
Matthew Gomez
It is owned and run by AMC, yes.
Nolan Garcia
My only drive in memory was when I was 5 or 6. My parents and my brother were watching some boring ass movie in my dads Ford pickup. I don’t remember what movie it was because it was so fucking boring. But what I do remember was the screen behind us was playing mother fucking Cujo.
I really wish there was another local drive in. Sadly I don’t think Oregon has any these days.
I googled it and there's still a few in Oregon. I'm in the South and it is the comfiest way to watch a movie. Bring a cooler of beer and some friends or a date on a warm spring night and enjoy two movies for the price of half of one.
This girls acting I find both fascinating and terrible.
Caleb Reed
I only went to the drive in once before it closed and it actually was quite far away (45 minutes on the highway). The first movie was Tokyo Drift, don't remember the second one. Anyway, we went in a fresh off the boat JDM Nissan Silvia (cause it's a drift movie set in Japan, how fitting.) Unfortunately, we had to go back home early cause the japanese radio couldn't pick up the drive in station (japanese radio broadcast isn't on the same frequency as NA or Europe)
Christian Gutierrez
kind of annoyed she isn't doing anything rational like contacting the police and making sure the chillun are safe

Hunter Murphy
Did this movie come out before or after the Shining?
Witness how the Aryan goddess grasps the long blackness of the shotgun. You just know.
Grayson Stewart
This is kinda cool to find out about. The next time I take a trip up towards Portland I will try to make a side trip to a drive in. I would love to experience a drive in as an adult.
Michael Bell
Well now she’s really dead!
Samuel Torres
By what means do you think they could accomplish that in 1981?
Asher Hill
with the telephone she just used?
Liam Torres
I hope you enjoy it. Most Drive-ins are now scattered across the country in middle of nowhere outskirts.
would you a darcy? i've jerked off to her so much ever since the last drive in just because
Carson Jackson
Sure.
Kevin Long
Just finished jacking off now lol.
Luke Gray
No mail girl will ever top Rusty
James Cox
Sounds fun
Daniel Campbell
Why did she have to ruin her face with surgery? She was just fine without it.
Nolan Russell
I've been watching her videos from her prior modeling career for years. Funny that she first moved to Hollywood to try to get a role in Joss Whedon's Wonder Woman.
