I have seen this show 3 times , only by watching reruns on tv.
plese tell me this isn't much bros

my eyes are gettin weary...

*American sitcom I imagine you meant

Literally never seen a good foreign sitcom. The IT Crowd and the original Office sucked.

Maybe Episodes but I think it was a 50/50 b/w BBC and Hollywood

I love many American sitcoms, but in my most humblest of opinions these British sitcoms are all superior to The King of Queens (which I have seen).

A few good British comedies...

Red Dwarf
Only Fools and Horses
Blackadder
Fawlty Towers
I'm Alan Partridge
Till Death Us Do Part
Drop The Dead Donkey
Steptoe and Son
Father Ted
Rab C. Nesbitt
The League of Gentlemen
One Foot in the Grave
Dad's Army
Porridge
Bottom
Desmond's
The Young Ones
The Vicar of Dibley
Spaced
Keeping Up Appearances
The Thick of It
Yes Minister
The Office
Rising Damp
Garth Marenghi's Darkplace
Men Behaving Badly
Phoenix Nights
Black Books
The Fast Show
Peep Show
Green Wing
PhoneShop

>brit prefers brit sitcoms

there's nothing really to talk about. it's the simplest sitcom ever. pretty comfy tho

it was 17th best, at most, and I'm being generous here because it's 38th for me, which is still pretty good but come on. Are you seriously telling me this was better than Small Wonder? Charles in Charge? Family Matters? Get outta here!

actually you're right about Black Adder and Fawlty Towers. Okay KOQ is the 5th best sitcom.

You're alright.

There's nothing else to say. KOQ said it all.

Though it does lose points for giving us Patton Oswalt

Oswalt was a thing before King of Queens. Plus the show shit on him constantly.

Good Question, alright I'll chime in.

> for the record -
> 1. All in the Family
> 2. Taxi
> 3. The Bob Newhart Show
> 4. Happy Days
> 5. Married…with Children
> 6. M*A*S*H
> 7. The Honeymooners

The Bob Newhart's stand-up comedy routines were passable enough, but not great. They consisted of him commenting on the fictional 'crazy' people around him. His humor was much better served in a sitcom setting, where the audience could see the cast of mildly 'crazy' people in person.

His excellent delivery of being nervous about expressing these observations, helped immensely. The rest of the casting was excellent too. Not only did Bob play a great a 'straight-man', but he was surrounded by a cast that could play-up their quirks without over-acting. Making his profession a psychologist was also a great idea. This allowed his observations to be part of the natural dialogue, and gave several opportunities for guests to play people with new and different idiosyncrasies that Bob could riff on.

Last night I dreamed about the mom from Grounded For Life, naked. This seemed like the thread to say that.

Never found it funny. Seinfeld and Frasier are really the only American sitcoms I've enjoyed. Always Sunny and Arrested Development are good as well but I'm not sure if you would consider those sitcoms. I guess Roseanne and Home Improvement weren't bad either.

Was the dream sexual in nature?
