No I like boats

Mean Girls has had the "official Yea Forums's seal of kino" since forever

It’s not that only women like romantic comedies it’s that women are the main demographic who do, you stupid cunt

So we should start calling them chick and faggot flicks?

No. They're boring. Call me over-stimulated on sci-fi and fantasy, but unless it has a space ship or swords in it, then odds are it's gonna bore the shit out of me.

why is netflix talking to me like it's a person and not like it's a company? why is it saying words like 'I' and 'my'? shut the fuck up netflix

That would be accurate so yes

It's not true that men dislike romance or comedy.
But they're completely missing the point that romantic comedies and chick flicks are a brand of film that panders specifically to female sensibilities.
Romantic comedies don't feel romantic to men and they don't feel funny to men.

It doesn't roll off the tongue as easily but I guess accuracy is important.

The Edge of 17 is a chick flick but it was a pretty damn good coming of age film as a whole sans the fact that her best friend is still a cunt by the end of the film.

>I
>My

>chick clicks are romcoms
What about shit like 50 Shades of Grey? Fuck Netflix.

Yea Forums calls them kuntkino

>from the men i've come across in my life
wow i dont think her faggot friends in college count

>1. Romance 2. Comedy
That logic doesn't follow at all. Just because they're the only ones interested in it as a whole, doesn't mean they're the only ones interested in the constituent parts.

That'd be like saying paedophiles are the only ones interested in children or sex

No. They're too emotional and illogical.

People only refer to bad movies as chick flicks. Chick flicks are mostly romantic comedies, but not all romantic comedies are chick flicks. Chick flicks are bad movies, which still appeal to (some) women by exploiting their interest in certain topics, tropes, and situations. There are movies which appeal to (some) men in much the same way. They aren’t particularly good, but feature a great deal of testosterone fueled action and violence. The only difference is we don’t have a catchy title that rhymes. Man movies isn’t bad, and I think we should popularize the term instead of shelving chick flicks.
Also, I don’t like chick flicks, because I only consume the purest, unfiltered kino. Subject matter is irrelevant to me.

Does net flix forget they have a category called bromance

I'm a Trump supporter yet I agree with this Netflix post.

I think I'd be considered "liberal" in the 90s. But I also hate Jews, black culture/affirmative action/praise culture, virtue signaling, everything about Islam, and open hatred towards whites.

>men I know like romantic comedies
oh honey those aren't men

>Marketers don't like a term that is used to describe movies that people don't want to see.
So incredibly surprising.

So an American then. Got it. No problem with it.
