>Batman describes him as "the only interesting person I know"
What did he mean by this? All throughout the film Batman is dismissive about his "friends" who are all interchangeable, but seems to think Bryce is unique or different. Was it because Bryce acted like an alpha male despite his bad hairline? Batman even hung out with Bryce one-on-one and went to clubs to do cocaine, I don't think he ever did that with any of the other guys in his group.
Psychopaths are still people, and can like certain people for no reason other than. "I like them".

Bryce doesn't take gloves as much as other people in Bateman's circle, even Bateman himself, which is why he can find him more entertaining that the others. At the same time, his lack of obvious personal characteristic yet preferencial treatment could also be a simple irrational act of Bateman to latch onto just one person -an anchor if you will- to project intimacy, in a world were everyone including himself is interchangeable.

as a psychopath, any normal interaction with a human being quickly makes you feel like a tard wrangler with caregiver empathy fatigue. anyone who doesn't have this effect on you is, as psychopaths do, going to be studied and exploited to maximum effect. bryce displayed some out of the box characteristic at some point and that screamed out to patrick bateman who is hyper-aware of how dull people are.

>bad hairline This guy can pull any hairline and still have more pussy in one night that you will ever have for your entire pathetic life, incel. Just imagine ha
In the book, is Bryce the one who runs off into the tunnel in that nightclub never to be seen again?

>bad hairline It’s just an M. Christ, you people worry about the tiniest of things.

Bryce is extremely alpha and Bateman flocks to him since he's just a beta yuppie himself.

This. It's sad that anons think hairline or height matter that much to girls. They do, but you can find plenty of girls who don't give a fuck about that, and they are hot too. They care more about your skin looking healthy, being clean and being fun to be around. Stop falling for literal Yea Forums memes

They/we are completely undesirable to women, not because of how we look, but because of how we are. Of course we will attack any physical flaw, trying desperately to believe that the only reason we lack intimacy is due to women's shallowness. It's sad and funny at the same time.

Uhm...user, haha. I am sorry to break it to you..but ummmm....asians ? They are hot. And i mean it, like they are hot ! Haha this isn't me joking, totes serious right now.
In the book, Bryce is portrayed as the most self-award of Bateman’s friends/social circle. At one point when a bunch of Bateman’s friends including Bateman himself are talking about how certain piece of clothing will make you look better in some stupid contrived way, all Bryce says is, “My friends are idiots.” At one point while the group is at a nightclub, Bryce loses it. He screams that he doesn’t want part of this Yuppie culture anymore and jumps off a balcony and runs away. He remains absent for the whole book from then on until the last few chapters. That might explain why Bateman feels no hatred or bitterness towards Bryce, because he is different, same thing with his Secretary, and Louis, the gay man who fell in love with Bateman and who Bateman decides to spare. They are totally different from the others in Bateman’s world. They were sort of supposed to show more of Bryce in the movie: m.youtube.com/watch?v=fzf5304Ph1o

Bryce was the only one who thought like Bateman and was making a little joke with him by bringing up "massacres in Sri Lanka of Israelis", which is why Bateman does that whole plain jane liberal speech at the table to one-up Bryce's comment (to both their amusement). He deserved more screentime.
