>3. Return of the Jedi
The movie that resurrects Han Solo only to do nothing with him?
The movie with the teddy bears that bring down the empire?
The movie with the awful chase in the woods scenes?
The movie with the badly painted falcon in the background?

RotJ has some iconic moments for the franchise but is a bad, bad I TELL YOU.

You mean McDonalds arthouse films

I'm pretentious? kek You're the pleb picking Eraserhead. I fell asleep watching that garbage, just like most people, including the users on Yea Forums who pretend to like Lynch

The movie is like 80% lazy garbage. But to be fair, everything involving Vader, Luke, and Palpatine is fucking excellent. I maintain that the moment where Luke cuts off Vaders hand is the best moment in Star Wars.

Doesn't sound bad, thanks

i thought so too the first time i watched them but rewatching them i found it hard to find a scene in those films that were without meaning. theyre not random nonsense that many people think

I agree, RotJ has one of the most memorable scenes in the whole franchise but overall is pretty lazy and stupid sometimes.
Even the plot about a second death star is so cheap.
I cant call this movie good but I would still recommend watching it for people who watched a new hope and empire just to get closure. And atleast it delivers on that (somewhat, just ignore the teddy bear planet)

yeah i'll be honest i'm being a nostalgiafag
but I love Jabba's palace and the throne room scene so much
the rest is kinda hard to watch lol

Oh ya, holistically the movie is pretty fucking bad. I just have to respect it because the trinity of those 3 characters is literally perfectly done. It is the absolute perfect end to Luke's arc. And I'll take 80% bad if it means I get 20% perfection.
