>Song Kickstart my Heart was used in Lego Movie 2, The Dirt and Hellboy
What's up with 3 movies that came out in 2019 using 30 years old song?
Song Kickstart my Heart was used in Lego Movie 2, The Dirt and Hellboy
People like Motley Crue
Also The Dirt is literally about Motley Crue
Yeah I know, but it's weird coincidence how three different movies that came out in February-April use same song
Music simply was better back then.
Name one 2010's song that could be used instead of Kickstart my heart.
TAKE ME HOME, COUNTRY ROAD
livewire is better
motley crue fucking sucks what a shitty overrated band everybody pretends to like, makes me sick desu
It is remembered as the anthem of pop metal right before grunge and kert cobain and eddie vedder destroyed everything in music
>motley crue song was used in a movie about motley crue
>pikachu: :O
Because hair metal was such a bastion of high class and enrichment
It was all cocaine and whores valid as fuck
>grunge destroyed music
I'm surprised this post wasn't in all caps
He's right though. Grunge took the fun out of rock and influenced a generation of shitters. Rock music has and probably will never recover.
Agree to disagree
I liked grunge better and never really had fun to hair metal, it came off as obnoxious and dumb mentally
licensing rates drop after 30 years unless its the stones or aerosmith or the beatles.
Dr. Feelgood and Kickstart My Heart are two legitimately good songs. Most hair metal sucks ass and was incredibly cheesy the minute it was released, but Motley Crue had some enjoyable songs.
They are not in the least bit interesting as a band though. That story has been told a million times. It was fine watching it as a kid on VH1 Behind the Music back in the day, but there's no need for a damn movie.
Those movies are aimed at people who grew up listened to that and with those in movies as they aged. Look at most children's movies nowadays that aren't aimed at being a possible random watch for anyone in that bracket and you'll see they use music that's mostly on the radio today, that electronica dubstep shit or hip hop. (see, the trolls movie)
(MAKE AMERICA
GREAT AGAIN)
Black widow is one of the best songs in existence
>greentexting twitter memes
love this classic green day song
Yeah just like that song. Likely they made the song cheap to get more exposure before the biopic came out
You know, funnily enough a Motley Crue song is featured in the Motley Crue movie.
Kickstart is hardly "in" it though. It plays over the credits
