cast grace mckenna as zelda

fpwp

Dinklage as Link. Christina Hendricks as Zelda. Everything else is CGI

There is a story in the AoL game manual about why are princesses are named Zelda. Basically the first Zelda. Create a trilogy that heavily elaborates on that narrative, and of course relies on Link growing up and stronger across the trilogy.

Idris Elba as Link
Natalie Mars as Zelda

Drown in rancid possum urine.

I already did it when I directed Legend (1985).

I would Probably do Link to the past, It would translate to film the best.

I'd probably make an animated Majora's Mask adaptation. There aren't enough animated thriller kinos.

who would you cast as princess ruto

Ayy Lmao from the VVitch

It would be a mistake to try to rehash the events that happen in any of the games.

The Goose as Link.

could work

why does that guy have a girl's name?

I don't.

Introduction with Zelda voiceover about the world and how the Hyrule royal family protects the triforce gate or something. First third of the film is a political epic.
>Kingdom of Hyrule and the Gerudo tribes brokering a peace arrangement after hundreds of years of animosity and small-scale conflict
>The king is ill, so Zelda heads these talks
>Act ends with Ganondorf returning from his time away, right before they're about to agree on a treaty
Second act is the chaos and basically just war
>Ganondorf refuses the Princess' terms and riles the Gerudos up to fight together
>On the eve of battle, a shadow demon assassinates the king
>Huge battle scene
>Hyrule about to win
>Suddenly a rush of moblins and monsters invade the battlefield, lead by Ganondorf
>They easily defeat the weakened Hyrule forces
>The Gerudo armies are weakened too giving Ganondorf complete unchallenged control
>Act ends with him storming the castle and Zelda surrendering (think the scene from TP where she drops her sword to Zant) and Ganondorf about to enter the sacred realm
Third act is where Link enters the fray
>Timeskip
>More narration from Zelda explaining what's happened, how the triforce split when Ganondorf touched it
>Some travelers are accosted by some moblin bandits
>Out of nowhere, a hooded Link appears and saves the day, with a glowing triangle on his hand
The rest of the act is him travelling to the various regions and gathering the items he needs to enter Ganon's castle and save Zelda

Refn as my co-director, Mads as Link, movie is set in Hyrule (Copenhagen) and it’s Pusher shot for shot except Mads wears a dumb hat the entire time.

Animated, shit will look way too goofy if it were live action

>First third of the film is a political epic.
interesting.

I really don't know about Link only showing up in the last act though. Seems like a 2014 Godzilla situation

>Mads as Link
too old

While LttP is an awesome story (and game) I think for the 1st movie in a franchise this big we'd best start at the beginning with Skyward Sword. Even better, I think, would be to do a series and have time to develop character, especially Ganon, I would love to see the Gagon we briefly got to see at the end of Windwaker fleshed out as a character. But whatever form it takes, the most important thing is the actor who plays link never gets any lines, ever, and just nods, gives intense looks and shouts 'Hait, hait, Haah!' during fight scenes.

with a camera and actors dressed as zelda characters

why would you post this

I hope that fag Link dies and we get a new protag

not based

Idris Elba as Ganondorf

Attached: link cucked.jpg (1920x1080, 675K)

actually this video is more kino that any zelda movie could be

Attached: link sad.jpg (1920x1080, 861K)

who would play midna

Jeniffer Lawrence

Attached: midna sad.jpg (1920x1080, 720K)

elisabeth olsen

>new zelda movie coming out
>it's a motion-picture adapation of the dic cartoon
thoughts?

Attached: ZeldaTASCharacterSketchGallery-15.png (2197x1701, 247K)

>Want an epic adventure.
>What you get is a stoner parody of fantasy games.

>implying anyone else could do it

Attached: anya tongue.jpg (640x800, 51K)

>starring Seth Rogan and James Franco
>with Dave Franco and Zac Efron in supporting roles

so zelda is stronk independent
falls in love a misunderstood ganon, hes tall and dark
link believes that he has to save her, but doesnt realize zelda went with ganon willingly
so link, tries to be a hero when no hero was needed, kills ganon, but is rejected by zelda

Peter Dinklage

haha dic

who's gonna play medli

could be kino

rooney mara

I wouldn't even include Link or Zelda until the very end, instead it'll be focused entirely on Ganon's story. It'll start off with him being born in a Gerudo Village and ending with him kneeling and looking at link standing outside the window.

No clue about the cast though.

Attached: ganondorf-looking.jpg (800x440, 167K)

kill urself

The whole movie would be a blacked, sissy, boipussy, psyop

i’d be more interested in the characters, but the basic plot would be stopping ganondorf from getting the triforce

ganondorf would be a radical terrorist/king who tried diplomacy to help his people, now he seeks the triforce to transform the gerudo desert. over the years, the hyrule kingdom’s refusal to aid has just made him bitter

zelda is a queen-to-be as her father’s only heir after he dies. she’s a strict ruler because she doesn’t want to be seen as weak by her people.

link is the son of a victim of ganondorf’s from when he was 10. the trauma from that rendered link mute. he is angry, mainly because he wasn’t present when his family got dorf’d and has survivor’s guilt.

link and zelda wouldn’t initially get along. it would be after zelda jobs to ganondorf and loses the triforce of wisdom that she would become link’s traveling companion. it would be just as much her story of becoming a good queen as it is link learning to let go of his guilt and become the hero of legend.

after-credits scene would be link returning the master sword, and as he walks away, he hears fi’s sound effect

I would adapt Ocarina of Time as a 2 part movie

Part 1 would cover the Young Link portion of the game and end with him getting the Master Sword and ending up in the Sacred Realm where his soul was held for seven years

Post Credit Scene: Link wakes up

Cast
Noah Schnapp as Young Link
I really don't know who to cast as Young Zelda
Winona Ryder as Navi
Liam Neeson as Ganondorf

Part 2
Link waking up and being sent back to Hyrule as an adult and freeing the sages and defeating Ganondorf

Post Credit Scene: Young Link riding Epona through the forest from the beginning of Majora's Mask and Skull Kids laughter is heard

Cast
Dacre Montgomery as Adult Link
Winona Ryder as Navi
Kiernan Shipka as Adult Zelda/Sheik
Liam Neeson as Ganondorf

It's the only way that Link and Zelda would have any personality. Sassy arrogant Link is best Link.

Having a helpless woman needing saving as a story prop wouldn't fly today

Visually hyper-stylized like 300 but with a bright BotW like color palette. I'd make it a two parter or trilogy that faithfully adapted the source material.. New orchestrations based on the best of the series music, adultify it a bit so it wasn't seen as a kids only film while still retaining its wholesomeness. Less about the world itself and more about the story of Link, in that I mean I wouldn't try and and shoehorn in everything recognizable from the games and make it as some LOTR wannabe just for the sake of having big CGI battles for the trailers.

A hero's journey that would appeal to the spirit of adventurous boys who want to save their comfy home town and the QT princess... It would start out with Link's hometown being wrecked by the evil forces of Ganon and him having to flee and deliver some message to Zelda or the King about what is going on.

Link would be like an aspiring chad, in that he kinda sucks at first in terms of what he can do physically but by the end of the third movie he's a beast. He'd be a teenager in the first movie, a young looking 17 or something like that. Zelda would have the Padme treatment of giving her plenty of great outfits to appeal to girls, some young blonde actor with a sweet personality. She's out of Link's league at the start but mostly due to difference of class and Link just not being confident enough yet. She's royalty but with a bit of a tomboyish side: proficient horseback rider and archer perhaps, who would kick Ganon in the balls and not tear up when he slaps her for it. Idk about story details, whatever facilitated all of what I said above and kept it tight.

Would be a fun movie to make. Obviously Hollywood would fuck it up.

This unironically

Nah, Ocarina would have to be a trilogy like LotR

Film 1
Film starts with Deku Tree narrating like Galadriel in Fellowship, but talking about the history of Hyrule and what the triforce is.
Young Link goes on his adventure until he pulls the Master Sword at the end and the movie ends with him going off to save destroyed Hyrule while Sheik watches him.

Film 2
Adult Link goes on his own adventures meeting Saria, Darunia and Adult Ruto.
Sheik reveals himself to be Zelda at the end.

Film 3
Adult Link goes back in time so we have both Adult and Young Link adventures on the third movie. Ends with Adult Link saving Zelda from Ganondorf with the help of the sages.

This is the only correct answer

The chance to cast the perfect Zelda has passed

Attached: image.jpg (922x938, 173K)

Not unlike that IGN April Fools joke from a while back.
>link is a farm boy
>goes to castle town
>uh oh ganondorf attacks
>gets the master sword
>goes on an adventure to save the princess and stop ganondorf
>instead of the sages being one-off characters, have them travel with link so he isn't alone the whole time
Might work better as a 10 episode series on Netflix.

>How do you do it?
Go to Dreamworks, do a CG movie. Get um.....the guy who plays Aquaman to play Link. Get that popular lady from Game of Thrones to play Zelda. The rest my casting director can figure out. Don't worry about the story, just remake the original game loosely. Fit in a lore-friendly band to play a lore-friendly parody of Despacito. I want my money now please.

Keep link and Zelda white and make them romantically involved and with so much love for each other.

I strictly follows Link: faces of evil. The real Zelda, not the cheap japanese imitation.

This sounds like Dracula Untold and that was poopoo.

Cast me as link

Amy Schummers as Zelda
Idris Elba as Link
William Dafoe as Ganondorf
Zendaya as Malon
Marie Tran as Saria

The Rock as Link
Idris Elba as Ganondorf
Zendaya as Zelda
Leslie Jones as Impa
Aidan Gillen as Tingle

Tom Holland as Link, it needs a cute twink. No ugly people in it. I don’t care about ((diversity)) either.

first three days

Attached: Deku_Link_Artwork.png (1236x1468, 1.29M)

Tony Revolori as Link
John Boyega as Deku Link
Adrien Brody as Zora Link
Forest Whitaker as Goron Link
Sandra Oh as The Moon
William Dafoe as Skull kid
Jonah Hill as Majoras mask (voice)

I tell the studio to shut it down and stop trying to make anime and video game movies.

All relatively unknown but talented actors = cheap but high quality. Link is a cute young actor played by someone who looks similar to River Phoenix, Zelda is played by a young redhead girl that looks like a young Sophie Turner from GOT. Ganon obviously will look like Lee Van Cleef or Dave Bautista. The story would literally follow the The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time video game almost perfectly but also include elements from the original NES game. It would sort of be an amalgamation of those two games and include scores from the two games. Gold colors would play a major part in the opening and closing credits. I would use CGI only when needed and try to get the best cinematography of wide open plains and nature scenery instead of resorting to computers to make it beautiful.

>Zelda is played by a young redhead girl
>redhead
>zelda
"no"

Trust me you don't want a Zelda movie

Attached: 1534273106745.png (516x435, 23K)

A 3 hour documentary detailing ZFG's obsession with OOT and his 7 year unbeaten record for the fastest speedrun of OOT 100%.

Obviously a redhead with died blonde hair or a wig you retard.

Jesus christ I want to kick you in the face so fucking hard

First not make it a movie but a tv series. First season is obviously Ocarina of Time since it's such an obvious starting point, both chronologically and as a way to establish the basics of the franchise. You of course focus more on character developent and relations and not so much on going to temple after temple solving wierd puzzles, yet you also want to stick to the main story as closely as possible. You find a great child actors and stay far away from modern politics, diversity and unwanted broad comedy.

Then if the show is successful you move on to the season 2 trailer
You've met with a terrible fate haven't you?

Jesus god no we don't need an origin story for every character ever.

How do so few people not realise that Link doesn't have a personality? Giving him a personality will alienate 90% of the fanbase.
All your autistic ideas starring him going on a wild adventure make no sense.
And don't even get me started on the idiots who want to adapt OOT....

You're not wrong, and that's probably the reason there hasn't been a Zelda show or movie (disregarding the 90s series) It's not that it would have to be bad to give Link a personality though, and OoT is an excellent framework for the heroe's journey. It just needs to have the gamey parts trimmed down and character stuff turned up, which would annoy fans even more.

Zoe Saldana

Any suggestions?

>Linklage as Dink
based and kino

Not too shabby

>Dracula Untold
I remember when that was announced and thinking it was the worst movie title I had ever heard in my entire life

This is so dated already. With Detective Pikachu and the Sonic movie this no longer applies

It should have a style like Hereditary or The VVitch where the entire movie is buildup to the character's final form and then it just ends
have the whole movie be the context for Ganon's takeover of Hyrule, Zelda and the King's downfall, and then have Link be awoken as the savior in the last act. We don't need to see him beat Ganon (since Ganon is never truly beaten), we need to see him become Link, and we can't understand that until we've lived through Ganon's terror

Alternatively, have it be a Lion King story arc where he gets exiled from Hyrule, learns to survive (silently), and only in the last act comes back to see what's happened to Hyrule. This would have to be a mostly silent movie (there would be fishing scenes). Could be Studio Ghibli style. Would be kino but probably boring. I like the Hereditary style better, where Link doesn't even exist as a main character until the end

I like bringing Link in at the end. What about the movie is Zelda and the King send the sages and the fairies (Navi or whatever) out on separate journeys to find the relics/gems/whatever the fuck items are needed, the separate journeys give it a Holy Mountain feel. It ends with a montage of each of them meeting Link at a different point in his journey, him finding the Triforce/Master Sword/Eternal Theramin/whatever else magical items, and then arriving at Ganon's door with his Triforce piece, flanked by Zelda, zoom in on Ganon who has Thanos energy and gleefully declares: "Together at last."
cut to black.
We never see the fight or its outcome, but post-credits, Link silently fishing for a minute or so with a slightly traumatized/ptsd expression as Lon Lon music quietly plays in the distance

Make a gritty "Old man Link" movie with subtle allusions to the Zelda Timeline and so on. People are still obsessed with childish things having gritty remakes
