What did Yea Forums think of the movie?
I thought it's a great family adventure film...Kida is 10/10 waifu tho.
ATLANTIS:THE LOST EMPIRE
She cute
Remember the TV show that got scrapped and turned into a movie?
Yeah
the one with the kraken?
Fucking checked
yep
they fucking called it the kray-ken and that messed with me when i was younger
Atlantis and the other obscure disney movies would translate to the remake treatment they've been doing.
Kida was hot, fuck why isn't she in more Disney media? She is the badass Disney princess they needed and hot too. Why??? I need more Kidaaaaaaaa
Ah,I need some choco goddess
>the magic cauldron's live-action remake never ever
The idea behind Atlantis in the first place was some sort of Stargate like franchise with the crew doing mostly what they did in the sequel but with a higher budget
insert stargate Atlantis joke here har dee har
I barely remember anything from 97 to 2001. Didn't the movie flopped and Disney acted like it never happened?
Ashame, because it was a really good movie
Took his suitcase? Marge, honey, I don't think he's coming back.
Holy mother of Kino
yep. there was even a ride planned at the parks that got scrapped.
this film has heaps of atheistic concept art
Movie was great. Loved the characters. Really deep.
I saw a Screener of this at the theatres before it came out. They questioned us and gave us a poster and other swag.
Was pretty cool. Never heard of it ever again
One of the most underrated Disney movies imo. Great adventure film, awesome steampunk tech, awesome Atlantean anti-lava shield. I guess the art style is what puts most people off.
Nitroglycerin.
I love this kind of shit, user. Thanks for posting. I've never actually watched the film itself, but I'm tempted to if any of this stuff translated over
i obsessed over this film when I was younger, I watched it a few months ago and still like it but have noticed some pacing issues, I almost wish it was longer and they took their time with some things
do you have some atlantis concept ars? machines are cool but wanna see ancient ruins too
let me see what I've got here
around the world in 80-days/nazi-era indiana jones adventure setting is so cool
pretty average flick but there's a lot to love about it. i loved the animation style, kida is probably one of disney's hottest women. it was kind of refreshing to have an adventure in the style of the old films like 20 thousand leagues under the sea, very jules verne.
not as bad as people say i guess. i liked most of the films disney released in the 00s, treasure planet was fantastic
even better I'll do you one more, here's where I got most of these images, eat your heart out
I'm more of a Treasure Planet man myself but I appreciate Atlantis.
The blonde was hotter
the art style was influenced by the guy who wrote the Hellboy comics which shines through into the movie
sorry, here's the link

my girlfriend loves treasure planet
I also love it but for less of the atheistic setting but for that relationship between Long John Silver and the boy (cannot for the love of me remember his name), is very honest and heartfelt
We are in a minority, you and I.

this scene is pretty cool but got deleted probably because it's too scary and doesnt really add anything to the story. it's also hilarious that the leviathan decided to use a fucking nuke on that shitty smashed up longboat.
its a nice scene, it just goes against the flow of the movie at that point
I can see why they removed it
there were a few other deleted scenes that never made it past storyboard. iirc one of them was fucking horrifying and featured tentacle bat things eating people alive. cant find a YT link unfortunately
this film had a very different tone on paper versus what we got
not complaining though, as a kid I loved what we got but as an adult I would love a darker take on the film
> tentacle bat things eating people alive.
Fuck
