>last episode airs
>no one talks about it anymore

nope.

unfortunately OP the last episode is like a penis going flaccid

But muh subverted expectations!

Eh the last episode was fine for what they're going for. The black detective's arc, was fine, I mean - that being said, the twist reveal was fucking retarded and subverted le expectations in the worst way imaginable.

>that retard who posts about things we've already talked about months after the fact
Just don't bother coming here if you're not going to keep up.

Trump*sters literally got mad becouse they dropped the whole pedo ring conspiracy also the conspiracy chick who just happens to be blue eyed blonde got blacked. Trump*sters are the new snowflakes #fact

Would have been been better if Julie really just died on the street as a drugged up whore and all those years of investigation were for nothing but otherwise ended the same way with Hays reconnecting with his family and Roland. The contrived Disney ending for Julie ruined it.

Based. Trips of truth

100% fair take and I agree with you. We both agree that the arc was fine, though - I think it was an interesting move to have had him come so close to his lifelong obsession, but having life take away his ability to relish in the moment. Other than that, the 'but the woman was just crazy and Julie was normal all along' conclusion is forced and contrived.

Fuck that, bring me a noir detective story. I want deep conspiracies about secret societies. And bring back the occult imagery and supernatural themes. Kino oner filming. Near-death experiences, that make the players realize their mortality, unlike the average crime/action story. And less roasties talking. Is that so much to ask?

1 > > 3 > > > 2

objectively correct

In other breaking news, the sky is blue and the grass is green.

>Dude literally the entire fucking season was just a series of red herrings
I feel so insulted, subverting expectations is one this but this is just fucking stupid, it's like they just changed it at the last minute

The last episode is not only terrible, but it retroactively ruins the entire season by revealing that nothing interesting was actually going on.
Stop at the penultimate episode and it’s cliffhanger kino; finish the series and it’s mediocre at best.

I'm a very old fuck. I work in home health with dementia patients. The ending was a gut punch. You see, Hayes wasn't coming back from that last flashback. I've seen it several times. Patients will travel all through their memories but will eventually come back to themselves. But one day, for whatever reason, they just go away and are pretty much lost in their memories forever. I took his heading into th he jungle as that moment. He ain't coming back.

Yeah user, most of us agree that the dementia arc was pretty good. It's the plot related to the case that we hate.

The ending of s3 was so stupid I actually like s2 now. 1 >>> 2 > 3

How do you guys understand what this guy is saying?
