>women and forced diversity
It's shit

Because it isn't.
Snooz fest.

Because it could have been great with the right casting choices.

I agree some of the cast is straight up annoying but the plot is good.

boring as fuck

how is it forced?

Redditors have been saying it's good here for years.

this. The "sassy" indian lady is fucking annoying.

I just binged this last weekend (first watch), after I rewatched all alien franchise and wanted to check out some other sci fi.

It's really great if you can appreciate the sci fi.

It sucks the show loses the most interesting character mid season 2.

Miller casting is great, Avasarala is great, I think Alex works well. Naomi is wierd, I buy the friendship with the crew but the deeper stuff with Amos and Holdon doesn't hold up, there's no chemestry there. Amos has a wierd character to play but he's played well. Draper is a meh character so I don't really care about her. Avasarala's spy is good.
Holdon is a let down and he doesn't do his character justice, I don't buy it that these guys see him as a leader when it doesn't feel that he's earned it.

I don't see the forced diversity shit, I don't see an agenda being pushed, the worst people in the show that you love to hate are guys like Mao and Nguyen.

Season one is my favorite, the mystery is the best part. The 2nd half of season 2 and half of season 3 is irrelevant because all the Ganymede stuff and Draper stuff doesn't even matter when the ring pops out and Miller's gonna guide Holdon through the process anyways so that's a let down, but the journey was fun enough. Definitely not enough pay off for all the time invested in Draper and Ganymede though.

I really wanted another cool space battle, with railgun shots and stuff. Well worth the watch over all and it scrached my sci fi itch

Nice essay, retarded faggot.

Yea Forums generally has shit taste and a lot of people here can't handle a diverse cast even when it's not forced

We've had lots of threads about it, particularly during the seasons or when it was cancelled.

The really ugly looking black lady put me off. And anons have said her character is total shit so I didn't bother.
I watched Extant instead since I never gave it a shot when it first showed.
Halle Berry is damn fine. I just want you to all understand Halle Berry is mines.

read the books if this is why you are watching the show. infinitely better.

Yeah, they should have dropped that entire plotline and gone straight from asteroid --> ring.

She's not that bad looking. The character is one of the less interesting ones but she's not distractingly bad or anything.

The cast is diverse but it never feels forced.
The diversity fits the setting of humans being interplanetary and having world governments.
They no longer discriminate by race but by planet.

>forced diversity
The most racist people in the show are non white.

obvious pandering to MUH STRONG WIMMIN in like the second or third episode when the black chick orders the dudes to do something and suddenly they become incompetent retards for some reason and stare at her and so she repeats herself and then they finally get to it but not without looking like bumbling idiots. before this they were the opposite, I don't get why else a moment like that had to be included.

Because Yea Forums is for plebs and they (you) don't deserve nice things.

Does anyone have a clip of that belter ramming into the gate?

i thought she was kind of attractive at first, but damn does drummer make her look bad.

In third season Ashford enters the scene and dominates the OPA, it's glorious.

Yea she's definitely not the most attractive on the show, but she's hardly ugly.
It's not like the script makes her out to be really attractive or anything either. She's supposed to be a bit of a tomboy.

>Naomi is wierd, I buy the friendship with the crew but
She's weird period, in the book too. For reasons which are explained like three books later but still.

>the deeper stuff with Amos and Holdon doesn't hold up, there's no chemestry there
There isn't much in the books either, Amos doesn't give a shit about anyone except Naoimi and even when he attached to Holden as a moral compass, he still doesn't really like him or anything, just respects his moral judgement (but not necessarily his survival instincts).

Bobby is hot as fuck.

>i thought she was kind of attractive at first, but damn does drummer make her look bad.
Haha, this is quite true.
It's implied somewhere that Drummer and Naiomi hook up for a while.

It's honestly a great show but the forced diversity makes it less good. For the belt to have diversity shit it's understandable, but mars being the most advanced nation while being full of niggers ?

I'd load her belt

I'd spin her drum, if you get my meaning

There's like one black Martian marine and he gets picked on for being born on Earth or whatever.

Goes downhill pretty fast in season 2. Season 3 has some of the worst acting I've seen in a professional production. Also there's an overweight woman that they are trying to pass as a supersoldier.

Take your gun and shoot yourself

you must be watching a different show, because I will never forget the Strong Independent Woman Marine leader, who didn't have any muscle definition whatsoever. Plus she looks like some Brazilian tranny. Marines don't look like Arnie in reality, but she should have been forced into a gym regiment.

I would let he spin my drum, if you get my meaning

we did every time an episode aired.

did you miss all the threads when the show was running?
we even had a general when they wanted to cancel it

best episode by far
