Say something nice about the prequels
Say something nice about the prequels
At least they were mostly white people.
>t. pic related
Best soundtrack.
I like Qui-Gon a lot. He leaves a strong impression despite how basic the character's role and function actually is. Liam Neeson was a smart casting decision. TPM in general is the closest post-OT Star Wars has come to being "good" to me. I know a lot of people prefer RotS but I am not one of them.
Why do whites make this face?
it's the "I hate niggers" face
Awesome vehicle design.
Robots were cool except for the retarded voices
its the "why can't i live around other whites" face
hershlag looked nice and slutty in ep2
They were MASTERPIECES. Best Star Wars movies. TPM was great. Great world building. Great action scenes. Old timey space serial feel throughout. a great beginning. AOTC was the most adventurous SW movie in the series. ROTS the most tragic (ESB is SHIT compared to ROTS)
I love the design of the battle droids. Even if they were sadly useless in the movies.
They were fantastic, except for the aspects that fall under the responsibility of the director. He should have had Jar Jar Abrams direct these ones instead of the new ones which look and sound fantastic but are shit at worldbuilding and storytelling.
>ROTS the most tragic (ESB is SHIT compared to ROTS)
There were only three of them and one wasn't horrifically had.
Also the Droideka.
It had the best music in the series.
They did a bunch of the shit Last Jedi did that everybody criticizes it for way before Last Jedi. A lot of people think the Last Jedi did Luke dirty when the prequels exposed that Obi-Wan was always full of shit in the originals and the Jedi Order and the Republic were never great and their ineptitude was directly responsible for the rise of the Empire. Which rules. Nothing is sacred, and if you think it is then it's time to fucking grow up already. Idolized the concept of the Jedi since 1977? Fuck you, they were corrupt, violent, and most of all dishonest. The Republic? Could never get shit done and didn't even care to stop slave labor on several planets. Lucas didn't give a fuck, which I mean in a good way.
Imagine actually thinking this.
ian McDiarmid and ewan mcgregor did a fantastic job
Shit movies, but the designs were cool, and they at least set up the foundation for a lot of good games and offshoots in the EU. It was right for the movies to be criticized, but it was wrong for Disney to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Now they've started realizing this, but I think they're going to fuck it up with their usual "corporate mouse touch."
They were an honest mistake, made by an honest man, who simply failed at making something good.
There was good intent, good ideas, but no good execution.
...And then there are the sequel trilogies, who are clinically made cynical garbage with an agenda to push from day 1.
What movies have the better music?
They ended my Star Wars addiction.
I think my personal favorite score goes to Attack of the Clones. The percussion heavy Coruscanf chase music rules and Across the Stars is one of the most gorgeous pieces John Williams has ever produced.
