The main thing I remember about The Fall is how the frame story is left completely unresolved. Lee Pace is still crippled, unemployable, suicidal and alone. The girl is still stuck in her life of menial manual labor. Her time in the hospital will probably be the best of her childhood. The only minor hint of optimism is that the sikh looking guy might hang out to be a father figure, but we don't know.

Yeah, that little jump cut has always been jarring, but then again, the difference between the fake and the real head is also very noticeable.
