I actually liked him in Marco Polo. Probably the only decent show Netflix has ever produced/funded.

The first two books are really good. I didn't like the third and fourth as much, the "everyone in the world wants to rape Ciri" storylines started getting repetitive.

They're a decent read but nothing special. The short stories are pretty nice but everything starts going down hill when it starts focusing on Ciri.

This. I can't remember which book it was in, but the short story about the human-elf wars where the dwarven mercenaries are fighting on the human side was absolutely terrific. Honestly I wish the overall story had focused a bit more on that and less on "Ciri's cunt is a weapon of mass destruction".
