Why is it called fantastic beasts? It doesn't seem centered around fantastic bwasts

>It doesn't seem centered around fantastic bwasts
It is. Watch the movie.

I regret the four 20 min sessions I wasted watching this abomination of a movie. jk rowllan is a hack

i'm tempted to watch it for johnny but the only harry pooter movies i liked was 3 and 4

how did your theater react when grindelwald said the n word?

It would make absolutely no sense to you if you didn't watch the previous one, I don't think it would be a good idea.

>mfw this isn't a joke
>he actually said No-Maj

How did they get away with it?

But BvS was good, so does that mean this was good too?

what an awful fucking title

That depends entirely on how this headline makes you feel.

JK Rowling is my aunts cousins friends friend and told me in the next film Credence transitions to female

I feel nothing because I don't create my opinions on films based on Twitter buzzword headlines

And yet you like BvS.

Yeah I do, problem?

Rowling is a known TERF so this doesn't even make for a convincing troll.

Is AOTC the BvS of the Star Wars cinematic universe?

Well, as far as the quality of this film goes, I personally enjoyed it more than the first Fantastic Beasts, which while watchable mainly felt like it was made to show off 3D glasses technology and had quite a lot of filler scenes. This one had a much tighter plot but the "problem" with it and the reason why critics hate it is that it makes no concessions to people who are not fans of the franchise and thus is near incomprehensible to a casual viewer, hence the comparisons to Attack of the Clones. Which, I wager, could be drawn with BvS as well.

>(((Chaim Gartenberg)))

I agree with you
Have you seen the extended cut with additional scenes they removed for theatrical release? It was unironically better despite being longer, the extra scenes ended up improving the pacing notably

Of FB? I don't think so, but that doesn't surprise me. I've noticed Warner Bros. more than any other studio has a problem with chopping up films in a way that consistently makes them worse. I bet the 4-hour cut of 2049 is better than what we got, too.

That'd be Return of the Jedi, silly.

Yep.

If you mean it's complete shit and ruined its respective cinematic universe then yeah.

It doesn't even make sense if you do watch the previous one.

Its a metaphor. The "fantastic beasts" are the wizards and witches.

How so?

Yeah if you're a retard maybe

It's a nonsensical plot that doesn't amount to anything. There was no point to the movie at all. It's a lot of things happening until all points converge toward the end to reveal some shit nobody cares about before having a battle for no reason. Why the fuck is Credence a Dumbledore? Why does that matter? Why did I pay to watch this?

>this is the BvS of the Wizarding World Cinematic Universe.
So it is a defining piece of its genre that masterfully narrates a story through visuals and metaphors and that eventually leads to a rebirth of hope?

Attached: Batman-V-Superman-Day-of-the-Dead-Superman.jpg (1400x700, 922K)

>Why did I pay to watch this?
I dunno, but thanks for funding the sequel.

This, based
Can't wait to see Credence btfo everyone with his OP Obscurus magic

>So it is a defining piece of its genre that masterfully narrates a story through visuals and metaphors and that eventually leads to a rebirth of hope?
No. It's none of that. It's the death of hope.

literally nothing happens featuring i clapped when i saw it

It was a very cringe movie.

WOAH A FLASHBACK IS SET IN THE 1910S SO LETS PUT THE TITANIC IN IT.
HEY REMEMBER THIS GUY WHO WAS MENTIONED IN THE PHILOSPHERS STONE? HERE HE IS BUT HE DOES NOTHING AND HAS NO RELEVANCE TO THE STORY

>HEY REMEMBER THIS GUY WHO WAS MENTIONED IN THE PHILOSPHERS STONE?
You want to explain to the class why you do?

I wish they just let Harry Potter die off after the original series ended, now it's just Naruto with wizards.

Yeah. Imagine if Rowling died right after the last book came out.

when did you realize the JK in JK Rowling actually stands for Just Kidding because she's just pretending to be retarded and Harry Potter is actually a fascist fantasy story

All of them are better than 4. 5 and 6 are kino

But it didn't, why are you such a shithead NPC

Critics and audience both hated it and it made the least of all the Potterverse movies.

>Critics
They liked TLJ, who gives a fuck what they think?
>Audience
You're wrong.

Attached: 1532863640885.jpg (1010x846, 126K)

Also they literally never said that the ship in the movie was the Titanic, this whole post reads like you got your marching orders from RLM.

They make it pretty fucking clear it's the Titanic without flat out saying it.

>fantastic beasts
filtered

but it obviously is you even see it sink

Anything below an an A- is awful

It's possible to recall that very important name if you read the book, just don't be a retard

Nicolas Flamel is also a real fucking person.

I haven't seen TLJ or Crimes, but AotC is a dumpster fire of a movie. So I guess this headline tells me a lot about Crimes.

It really wasn't by todays movie standards it was one of the only good ones last year

Critics and audiences love shitty movies and praise marvel consistently, why do you actually come here and think you're redpilled yet you only repeat the basic bitch opinion about everything? It made the least because people are more interested in even worse movies like Venom now, for whatever reason we have 10 capeshits a year.

Kys
No it tells you a lot about zoomer retards and "journalism" that is empty. TLJ and Crimes are both better than AOTC by a lot.

user, Suicide Squad has a B+. Go fuck yourself for even posting that trash

I didn't post it.
Fuck off thinking audience scores matter you utter fucking brainlet
Audiences are full of shitskins who hate on anything moderately good to great and whom consistently praise trash like marvel and rogue one and the force awakens

>TLJ and Crimes are both better than AOTC by a lot.

I'd believe it. Even as a kid I didn't like AotC.
Is that supposed to be good? Suicide Squad was terrible. Crappy script, inconsistent tone, some really shit scenes obviously added way after filming was finished, heavily underdeveloped characters, bunch of other shit I'm probably forgetting.

>praise trash like marvel and rogue one and the force awakens
Or Harry Potter

>Is that supposed to be good?
No it's supposed to illustrate how useless cinemascore is

Harry Potter is actually good and hated on by the shitskins that populate this board whom like marvel, that you are siding with, you pseudo faggot, virgin and nigger

its fucking awful, really showcased how bad of a writer J.K. is.

The 8 harry potter films are great large and part because they piss off bookfags by elevating the material

It's not like the Harry Potter books are masterclass literature.

Fantasy is never supposed to be, lotr has even more basic story. Fantasy is about world building which translated nicely on film with different directors. The movies are insanely rewatchable.

the first one was
the second one forgot that's what the series was about

this meme is still funny

>a ship sinks somewhere, it must be the Titanic!
Really?

The only one that doesn't fail as a movie for non-fans is PoA.

Suicide Squad is an Oscar winning film so you can take your hate for CinemaScore and SHOVE IT.

They didn't forget, they very clearly downplayed the "Fantastic Beasts" title in the logo. It's only there because Newt Scamander is still involved in the story and they need to convey what series it's part of, and they can't very well call it Harry Potter.

I saw it with friends and I was visibly unhappy throughout the movie
Grindelwald is just Rowling's idea of Trump and she didn't even try to hide it

>Grindelwald is just Rowling's idea of Trump and she didn't even try to hide it
That's why Grindlewald wanted to stop the Holocaust and Rowling's self-insert didn't.

I thought it was implied that it was a self-fulfilling prophecy, by instilling the fear in his supporters it would actually instigate the war instead of prevent it
At least that's how I would write it if I was a hack that wanted NPCs to think I was a talented writer

It's a wonder you have friends if an attack on white supremacists makes you "visibly unhappy."

You're not very smart, are you?

Rude

Have sex
