Always perferred this show to New Girl which seemed to kinda steal its thunder, they even stole the Wayans brother dude from the show after it got cancelled just to rub it in the happy endings fans faces that their show won

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is probably the closest to that right now. That show kinda stinks now because Schur is too obsessed with beating you over the head with wokeness and shoving in hamfisted social justice issues into every episode.
