Gave it the good 3 episode try, and ready to give up on this shit. Will it ever do something novel?
Black summer flick tier?
I couldn't get through 20 minutes before I gave up on it. A series that fails at giving you a reason to watch it almost immediately is a show that probably isn't going to get better. Series are different from movies. The beginning hypes you up to watch how it ends and the end hypes you up to make you watch the next episode. This one had no hype.
omg zombies bro epic hahah look at my rav4 I put an awsome zombie outbreak task force sticker on it I think its looks pretty sick bro you watch the walking dead?
I think its pretty good
Do not waste your time with this bullshit
camera work was pretty kino
John Hyams is based tho? US: DoR?
The acting is insanely bad as is the production value so it felt like a college film more than anything
BLACKED Summer
The last episode is so fucking stupid, it starts off with a bunch of random survivors that start shooting a zombie, and other zombies are made via crossfire, and then it gets overrun
>The acting is insanely bad
you sure you weren't watching Z Nation?
Z Nation is unironically kino
I'm almost done with Eps 1. I dont like the way the zombies act but it's not that bad
Z Nation was 10x better than this shit
Black guy just killed someone. They got balls to do that today
was pretty good. Puts walking dead to absolute shame. Which is just sad.
Only gripes is its low budget. The actors would throw themselves to the ground from an always offscreen explosion like old star trek. The "finale" downtown brawl with the endless gun magazines was just silly too. The cinematography and camera work was decent. Finding out that it was an asylum production left a bad taste in my mouth.
Is this really a prequel to z nation?
>Set in the "Z Nation" universe, this series follows a crack team of special forces as it fights for hope in the darkest hours of the zombie apocalypse.
holy shit that explains a lot
jaime king only films stuff that have black men in them
It's some Netflix thing. Of course it's bad. Don't be fooled by the production values or the poster design. It's all shlock greenlit based on what their algorithms tell them people will like. And that'd be fine if it wasn't all mediocre hackery.
It was terrible, there's a difference between shaky cam and someone having a full on seizure whilst filming, can you guess which one they had?
I watched the whole series in 1 evening (there's not that many episodes), and it was ok. Feels like it's desperately trying to cash in on TWD fatigue by constantly killing off the cast. I still enjoyed it though and hope it could get better with a second season.
