This whole scene was a lot to take in as an adolescent

Haven't seen it.

except for 2 things

Gary Oldman

Some of the best special effects/cinematography

Otherwise yeah, some of those performance were pure cringe

yes, also the music is KINO
too bad coppola was already senile

One of my favourite movies

Was just telling a buddy of mine to watch this. Pure operatic kino, it's not perfect but it's bold, beautiful and inspired.

I have never ever watched a single movie with tom cruise as the lead.

It's pure kino. Oh Keanu and Winona give bad performances. So fucking what. It's a good fucking movie.

Just watched The Pianist because I hadn't 'seen that movie?!'.
>no meme tradgedy ending
>jews were bad too
>not all nazis
A nuanced approach. Pleasantly surprised.

i've seen a couple thousand flicks but i'm not great when it comes to a lot of the older stuff
>gone with the wind
>north by northwest
>the seventh seal
>metropolis
>M
>stalker
>solaris
>a streetcar named desire
>on the waterfront
>a lot of non english criterion release stuff

When I broke my leg at baseball practice in 7th I was wearing this Dracula t-shirt because I was edgy white trash a decade before edgy white trash was cool.

The designs are great.

4k of this film is fucking great desu

Without exaggeration every film you listed is a master piece. Check them out.

I havent seen all of these but so far, top kino. Its cool to also see how much film has changed while still being top tier

I didnt necessarily like Gone With The Wind, but its fascinating the amount of production value put into it. Clark Gable is a timeless bro

also
>Casablanca

This movie was made into a kickass pinball machine.

tom waits' hair is fantastic

i know man i know. getting there bit by bit. i'm working my way through kurosawa right now and planning on doing tarkovsky after.

Neve was a qt. that's my contribution

This movie was visually pretty awesome. The casting was shit, but Goldbongman did a good job as the count. He tried to keep it as close to source as possible, and did very well.

Worth a watch.

>me on a tequila night in T.J..
...and could be you too!

Edgy white trash has always been cool.

I fucking hate movies, hollywood bullshit etc..

But that movie is special to me.

It reminds me that movies and film making can be an art.

I love the soundtrack, it is part of my playlist and has been in heavy rotation for a long time.

literally only plebs don't like this movie

Coppola made so many incredible movies after the 70s and basics only know his mafia shit

You sound like a faggot

Definitely better with long hair
