No, of course not, mostly the shitty ones. In The Bat (1959) for example the starring group of women handle themselves fairly well. Modern feminists buy into marketing crap about strong female characters being a grand new thing, but they've been around for almost a century. No great beauties among the cast here though, other than Elaine Edwards who plays a minor part. Still a pretty good film with some interesting twists.
