Oliver Stone's Untold History of the United States was kind of interesting and I think it starts right at ww2

Why are all his documentaries so comfy? They're not even that great from a historical standpoint but they're so well made.
I still revisit the soundtrack from his Civil War series.
Apocalypse wasn't bad, Smithsonian program.
The Unknown War (think that's what it was called was a fairly decent soviet documentary, but it is full of propaganda.
He makes you feel nostalgic for a time you've never experienced.
