No, Force Awakens still has Han being a deadbeat runaway, Luke being completely AWOL, Rey being a pointless Mary Sue, Finn being wasted and pointless, punk ass Kylo Ren, rehashed plot that has to invalidate the prior films, mystery boxes that were never meant to lead anywhere, just like all of JJ's other mystery boxes.
JJ isn't going to save shit, dude even needed George's help, but not even George's passion is saving this trilogy. They probably just brought on George so they they can blame him later for the film sucking, just like they tried to do with TLJ even though he didn't even work on that film..
