I made it about 5 episodes into Z Nation and I dropped it for some reason. Maybe they hadn't really nailed the combination of horror / comedy yet. Black Summer was short enough to binge in an afternoon and evening. It was decent, nothing too special.

Every segment is loaded with bad decisions on the characters part, from not swerving when a zombie is on the back, to people chasing others for an hour wasting gas to get their gas, the constant being chased by zombies and leaving doors open so the zombie can follow you, shooting a zombie five tomes in the cheat when it clearly isn’t working, deaf guy wants to look for the kid, then at the first sight of dead bodies(which are everywhere outside) he freaks out and says fuck the kid and tries to run leaving everyone behind, and way more. Fucking pure retardation.
