My all time favorite movie is The Winter War (Finnish language movie made in 1989) it might not have the best cinematography or whatever but the situations and feelings it depicts are very real. Next is Zulu, pretty similar but in English. Then Lawrence of Arabia, then No Country For Old Men, then Burn After Reading (has almost nothing to do with the others but its great).
