was it rape?

yes
yes

It's the definition of kino

Not a single woman has a speaking role. In fact, you only see one for literally about 5 seconds. You could NEVER make a film like this today.

Only men can appreciate this gem, roasties will never understand it.

Yes.

Except IRL Lawrence wrote a letter on behalf of the Royalty of the Muslims he brought together saying they welcomed a new state of Israel, which prompted the UN to actually give it to them

Whoops

Imagine having a life so kino.

Actually Lawrence was a staunch national socialist and campaigned on behalf of the Palestinians.

It's literally "They don't make 'em like this no more"-core. Lawrence was a pretty interesting character with flaws.

>Lawrence was a pretty interesting character with flaws.
He was a Nazi

you actually see a couple but they're all dead

that's why glengarry glen ross is such a great film

spbp

Hmmm, let me think about that for a minute

Wait. Where's the cgi army?

the more I watch movies and see some frankly lousy landscape shots, lenses and composition, the more this blows my fucking mind

This shot alone must've costed a million dollars to make. the director of photography must've felt like a fucking god while watching the dailies for this.

LoA has maybe 50 "million dollar shots".

you'll have to look around for a bit

Wait, if there's no cgi battle how am I supposed to enjoy the film?

dunno lol

Just turn your brain on dude

The whole film is the million dollar shot

not a single shot looks sloppy or hastily made, it's the epitomy of soul

This

isreal has to happen for jesus to come back
read your bible

one of the greatest kinos ever. only reason why its not consistently is because its one of those movies that women just cant understand :^)

Did they cover the part where the British gave Palestine to the Arabs for their contribution in WW1?
Oh wait

I mean if you wanted to include scenes where the British fuck up the Middle East we'd double the length of the film.

>I'm not going to kill any more after this horrible experience
>Haha just kidding I'm going to slaughter a load more towelheads

What did he mean by this?

Reminder that he never got a sticky

his battlefield 1 campaign was pretty kino desu

Top 5 best movies all time easily, my personal number 1

Huh?

it was more like
>I got ass raped and betrayed by a bunch of backwards ass savages, I'm not going back there, general. no fucking way
>''what if I give you money to hire an army to slaughter them and take the city?''
>The best of them won't come for money. They'll come for me.

He wasn't raped

unironically got to the intermission n turned it off

Whoa.. I have watched the movie dozens of times and I've never noticed that

More like the Lawrence of Arapeia, amirite?

hmmmmmmmm

>He wrote to Charlotte Shaw, "I've seen lots of man-and-man loves: very lovely and fortunate some of them were."[150] He refers to "the openness and honesty of perfect love" on one occasion in Seven Pillars, when discussing relationships between young male fighters in the war.[151] He wrote in Chapter 1 of Seven Pillars:
>"In horror of such sordid commerce [diseased female prostitutes] our youths began indifferently to slake one another’s few needs in their own clean bodies–a cold convenience that, by comparison, seemed sexless and even pure. Later, some began to justify this sterile process, and swore that friends quivering together in the yielding sand with intimate hot limbs in supreme embrace, found there hidden in the darkness a sensual co-efficient of the mental passion which was welding our souls and spirits in one flaming effort [to secure Arab independence]. Several, thirsting to punish appetites they could not wholly prevent, took a savage pride in degrading the body, and offered themselves fiercely in any habit which promised physical pain or filth.[152]"

Possibly the best shot in a film composed almost entirely of amazing shots.

oh yeah i love watching a guy walk around in the sand for 4 hours. yeah wow, how can anyone prefer superhero movies over this clearly amazing not boring stuff???

this

>yeah wow, how can anyone prefer soitard wacky zappy kooky cuh-razy epic reference adventures over an embodiment of masculinity that depicts the good and bad of man in a grand plot of struggle with underlying tones of classical heroic literature???

Fucking kikes

I put this on when I want to fall asleep, it's kino but my god the cinematography and the slowness put me right out

Watched it for the first time a few days ago, it was quite good

Fresh lemonade will come to you and your towelhead sidekick, but only if you comment
>no prisoners
in this thread

NO PRISONERS!

NO PRISONERS

Arab-White Nationalist alliance when?

Cursed trips. Persian/White alliance I can get behind.

What is it, Major Lawrence, that attracts you personally to the desert?

Bussy lmao

NO FUCKING PRISONERS

dude, it's clean lmao

It's great but I've watched it like 3 times now and I still forget most of what happens after they take Aqaba. The movie is sort of formless after that.

NO PRISONERS

Train attack, Rape scene, no prisoners
But I agree actually.

boring movie

I wouldn't say the film is formless, it's more that it turns into a completely different film without much of a goal as it's much more of a dark dive into Lawrence's character

First part is yay, adventure, horses, battles, quests and friends, new allies and beauty shots of the desert, and then the Second part begins and after the train attack things just get...sad. as in a ''this isn't fun anymore, I wanna go home'' kind of way. And then it ends with the protagonist completely crushed by the fact he accomplished nothing and might have made things worse. But then THIS plays youtube.com/watch?v=PtvP9TYgrgI, like hey, remember the main Theme? Remember the adventure?
