>traitor
He was killed because he wasn't a traitor.

Oh boo hoo, your dad who hated you died, oh no.

Best scene of the episode though

he didn't like his dad but his brother was nice to him (i think?)
even if one had a strained relationship with their father, i doubt most people wouldn't be upset at the news some foreign asshole roasted their immediate family.

>I killed your family

>stares at you blankly

Attached: proxy.duckduckgo.com.jpg (236x349, 14K)

Better than having yet another brooding character with terrible dialogue and a shitty arc with no closure.

>you-u t-t-too

His father tried to have him killed.

Who do you think Randyll betrayed?

you just described every anime character

thats what makes him relatable

>hehe haven’t told jon that I basically killed two lords in cold blood
>hehe better go around telling people in winterfell, how could this go wrong!

I think he was more upset that Dickon died

The only good scene of this episode.

He was loyal to the Lannisters until the end, he was whatever the opposite of a traitor is.

Tyrells

Although trying to make sense of legality and alliances in Westeros is pretty murky. So who should define legality? The Targs, Baratheons, or the ones before Targs, or now Dany?

Anyway, they died cause they were foolish. It also always funny to be butthurt about death/execution in a show where this happens every 10 mins on screen. Sure he is the pussiest character of all so its kinda acceptable.

Sam is actually based as fuck now

Jamie scene was good too

She killed his family and told him with minimal hesitation. She didn't give a single shit about him or his people. Considering she was meant to be queen of the Seven Kingdoms, he was right to feel deeply disturbed by this.

Not really. They turned against the realm first, he stayed loyal to it.

>It also always funny to be butthurt about death/execution in a show where this happens every 10 mins on screen.

hopefully normies stop going YAS KWEEN

Yes he was. He fought against the house he was sworn to because of his xenophobia. He'd be alive or dead in a less painful way if he'd trusted Olenna's judgment.

fuck off sam is /ourguy/

Attached: 24328370824.jpg (1035x871, 35K)

He wasnt upset, he was happy could go claim neetbux back home now

>Sam stabs Danaerys as revenge
>Sword comes out on fire

He was, he was sworn to Olenna but switched to the Lannisters on account of Olenna throwing the Tyrell armies behind Daenerys

It was a mixture of emotions both happy that his fuckheaded father and brother were dead, and infuriated that despite it all, he still loved them as family.
He was also troubled by Dany's callous attitude to executing them both even in the presence of one of their blood relatives, and felt it was unbefitting a good ruler.

Why didn't he just stab Daenerys? She's like a midget, and her dragons were nowhere nearby.. Sam had nothing to lose.

Randyll was a Tyrell bannerman, not a Lannister bannerman. He was a traitor because he switched sides when Olenna supported Daenerys

She's not capable of acting so they write her character to literally show no emotion. Genius

Judging by reactions on social media it does seem like the tide is turning against Daenerys a bit, and I honestly think when it comes down to people choosing between her and Jon, they'll go Jon most of the time

jorah was right next to her

Daily fact: Samwell is a character avatar for GRRM so if you find him a pathetic fatfuck who can't do anything right, well...

no shit sherlock

>I roasted your father and brother alive. Now apologize to me cause they didn't bend the knee you pathetic fat cuck

>Sam had nothing to lose.
Jorah was right behind her, but being an ultimate cuck he would have still kill the guy that saved his life for his qweeen

He was sworn to the crown.

Sam got along with his brother.

>dickon

Attached: 1503587767090.jpg (392x461, 25K)

Only in a really obtuse manner. In the beginning of season 7, Cersei asks him to switch sides to the Lannisters and Jaime tells him he'll make him Warden of the South.

Most bannermen in the show tend to be personally loyal to their immediate liege, not the crown. I suppose the Crown is the overliege of all, but in practice it seems that your immediate oath to your regional lord comes before any oath to the crown

>written in novels & show that nerdy morbidly obese man be the first to kill a white walker
>writer is morbidly obese and also very nerdy
THINK

Yup I was really surprised how fucking unemotive she was when she told him. Poor fucking Ian Glenn who got only one line this episode was really grimacing behind her feeling Samwell's pain while Dany was seriously staring him down like she was considering burning Sam too. No regrets or remorse. Like a Burger King manager was telling you it's not there fault if your Whopper is cold. About as much emotion in her there.

It's kind of weird cause he fought on the Targaryan side during Roberts Rebellion.

Tbf Samwell's dad betrayed Lady Oleanna which got her killed. They could've used those forces to fight the Night King vs letting Cersei get another win etc.

"A vassal of my vassal isnt my vassal" - that's the rule that held true in most medieval european kingdoms.
So if the Tyrell's told him to do X and he goes and does Y - he's a 100% traitor, the crown be damned.

Admits to stealing valued books. Also a sword lol, but it was actually his, just not yet.
>Oh those guys, yea I fried them. Why are your eyes watery? The sword is y ours now
She should wear a cap with please be patient, I have autism at this point.

Why should she bother to emote?

She is a Queen almost technically a Goddess at this point, she can't afford emotions nor should she make herself look weak.

>the tarlys?
>yeah i totes smoked those two fags lmao

>y-you too

Would the sword be more valuable then the books?

God Sam had better fucking die, he is so annoying and weak and shit it's unreal.

The sucky part is that there are no good villains left for him to die at the hands of. No impact to be made. He either gets killed by a random White Walker or lives. So sadly, my moneys on living.

There's a difference between shutting off your emotions when the chips are down and not having them at all.
She's the latter, and that's just plain sociopathy.
Would you like being ruled by a sociopath?

I voted for Trump

He's GRRM's self-insert. He'll never die.

Sam threw down with a white walker. Why the fuck would some random that he's flayed bother him? The entire scene pissed me off with how meek he was, I really hope he manages to get Dany killed.

ITT: autistic fucks that dont understand the scene or the emotions he projected.
he was sad that his father was dead but was ok.
it was not until he found out his brother was killed as well, that he broke down.

I see no difference. So far in the series she has proven to be a better force than those she opposed. The feats she achieved or been endowed by is simply enough to steamroll anyone else. And don't forget this is a medieval setting, so it makes no sense what would I want in current year.

But now that you mention it. Take current year, someone says something "inappropriate" like Liam Neeson did. So whats the prudent course of action? Apologize? Show regret and emotions. Well, bummer, by apologizing you only admit having made something wrong, but there's no turning back from there, people (the very loud minority) will want your head and your career destroyed.

Returning to Dany. She is already being contested in Westeros, especially by the backwards thinking Northerners. Should she be milder? Why? Were the Boltons mild? Were good ol' Ned mild when she beheaded young boys who strayed from the Wall? Again, its a bit doublestandardish. She is not worse, in fact she is more merciful and kinder than all her predecessors ever been.

It's over. Even the twitter Normies are turning on Dany. she built an empire of shit, and summer is rolling in.

>almost technically a Goddess
Gayest thing I've ever read

And had absolutely nothing to say. Absolutely pathetic, his weakness knows no bounds. His father raged at his girl/"child" and all he did was steal a fucking sword.

Of course he's going to live. And he's going to write a book about it all, called Game of Thrones.

Remember that scene last season where Jim Broadbent was saying he needed to think of a snappier title for his history book? That was foreshadowing.

What are you talking about he never did any snitching. There is nothing to snitch about.
Go back to pol schitzo

Ok, counter-question.

What qualities does she bring to the table that make her someone "to follow". Ill make it simple for you, it involves magical plot decives with wings.

Okay. So having the first one to hatch dragon eggs in centuries, controlling 3 superweapons and being immune to fire, with a quasi-legitimate claim to the Iron Throne is what now? Oh, plus having I don't even count now how big of an army of men...

>she is more merciful and kinder than all her predecessors ever been.
And she carries that crux of being a Targaryen.
She isn't good enough, and if your own people can't stand you, then it won't work.
Remember this isn't the case of a vocal minority disliking her.
She continues on this way, people will see her father, and they will turn on her, and willingly die trying. They've beaten a larger Targaryen force before.

If you see no difference between the will to set aside morality for the greater good and having no morals at all, then you haven't payed attention to Jon Snow's entire arc. Snow is willing to kill if he has to, but he never dismisses the gravity of the act, to himself or others. His actions weigh on him, and that weight makes him stronger. Meanwhile Dany has no remorse at all. She doesn't care and carries no weight. She's no better than when she decided to become queen. She hasn't grown from that point.

Attached: 1553433673525.jpg (700x695, 139K)

And I don't argue with that. Yes, she has now just 2 incredibly powerful superweapons remaining that just happens to be the kryptonite of the main antagonist(s). What can be better of a trump card than that?

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not her fan, nor do I really care about this series anymore cause this new episode was cringeworthy as fuck.

>At least I had one to begin with you fucking bitch LOL
>Also Jon is the real heir, you fought for nothing, get fucked

Attached: 1512143840229.jpg (292x292, 9K)

he has always been like that with people. i dont get why you are upset he is acting in character.

but lets say he did grow some balls.
she is a queen with a bodyguard that is much more skilled/stronger than him. just outside is her army and dragons.
all he knows about her is she is a queen with the most powerful army there is. that killed his father and brother for not bending the knee. he has his own family to take care of. if he were to say something or lose his shit, he would assume she would kill his ass leaving his family alone in the unforgiving world.
It was no win situation for him.

Ok, so who is the better one then? Who is the one that people really like? Oh, btw not counting the dead pretenders. Of course, it's Jon "I dont even wanted the crown but I'll eventually wear it cause I'm the purest, kindest, broest goodieboi on this entire planet of whatsitsname" Snow.

We would just replace one cringy deusex with another. Its hopeless at this point.

And I was watching, and tell me, how many times were the morally "good" characters benefited from their morals in this show? I mean dude, this show is the tropemaker of "everyone gets killed, especially the cute". Sure, Jon has adamantium plot armor, even more so than Dany, but again, if he wouldn't he would have already been killed in S1. And I mean permanently, no resurrection this time.

If I were forced between two cringy deusex's I'd pick the one who gave a fuck.

that was a 10 second long cliffhanger

In the books its going to be worse.
His brother was a kid, he was 10 tops.

Where the fuck are these people coming out of the woodwork to shit on Randall Tarly. Last season him and Dickon were acknowledged as based, I guess that now samswell lardly likes them Yea Forums has switched to being pro-dany in westeros

Attached: baelish.gif (265x207, 1.17M)

It was needed since half of the fucking viewers forgot about Jamie and Bran.

He gets Horn Hill now. Show a little gratitude

have they not seen each other since season 1 episode 1?

Its not common to end entire households that you've taken prisoner in formal war, the starks even tried to keep alive the minor lannisters they captured. Tywin did it once and became known for cruelty.

Attached: hanseaticleague.png (761x564, 617K)

Whatever, you are probably right. I'm just pointing out that at this point it doesn't matter anymore. The show derailed from being realistic/verisimilar to an infinite degree. It was kind of good up to the point where the schemer characters always were two steps ahead of the moral ones. Now magic and deus ex has taken over every such notion. As such, Jon is better cause he is written/made/forced to be better, it no longer feels organic.

Wrong

Olenna sided with a foreign invader against her liege, the queen. Yes, I'm aware that Cersei has no real claim to the throne (at best a widow's use-rights), but by that logic Olenna has no claim to the Wardenship, Paramountcy, or Ladyship of Highgarden -- she's not a Tyrell anymore than Cersei is a Baratheon, she married in. If nobody else in this universe seems to understand feudal contract I'm not sure why Randyll should be obligated.

Moreover, YOU DO NOT EXECUTE PRISONERS OF WAR! That is a BAD thing! Aerys did that, Tywin did that, the Freys and Boltons did that, and what did we learn? It always dooms the realm to yet more years of violence because it broke the sacred laws that made trust between combatants possible. If your enemy has demonstrated that her position is "do whatever I say or die" then you will have constant rebellion forever.

SEND HIM TO THE FUCKING WALL! "Nuh-uh, you can't make me" isn't some magic phrase that roots him to the fucking ground. He's one unarmed man, just have a few Dothraki pick him up, put him on a cart or boat, and send him to the fucking Wall! Or just put him in a cell for a while to think about it.

I'm not arguing that refusing to bow wasn't a foolish decision on Randyll's part, but man is it aggravating when people just seem willfully ignorant regarding basic details and concepts. I know this show attracts retards like flies but Jesus Christ...

I've seen so many people say Dany is justified since its war, and it's so fucking infuriating

Nope. Shoved him out the window then left for King's Landing.

No he threatened to if Jon didn’t step aside

Oh we're on the same page when it comes to this show's quality.
I've just been on this ride for so long there's no point in bailing 5 episodes away from the end.
Also I like the memes.

Attached: bran watches.jpg (1280x2160, 1.15M)

>A vassal of my vassal isnt my vassal
Not true at all. By that logic no peasant ever has to pay the king taxes or obey him. You think the king makes farmers swear to him personally?

Cold fries I can live with, but I would lose my shit over the burger being cold, it is extremely unhygienic and unsuitable to serve to a customer. I have no idea why but fastfood workers rarely seem human, the glassy-eyed pantomime of a person making sounds at me but meaning none of it really brings my piss to a boil. Maybe I'll shoot up a Macdonald's one of these days, there's bound to be plenty of minorities in there to gun down as well

Sam I’m an idiot

I actually forgot his dad died, and I thought she was angry because his dad pissed her off. Sam looked scared more than distraught. Only Jorah pulled off his sympathy correctly

kek, I think the best "part" of this episode was Cercei's pillow talk: "I wanted those elephants" I mean wtf? I'm astonished its not yet made to be a widespread meme kek

It's not like Dabid read the books.
In all honesty Randyll is very likely to be one of Aegon's "friends in the Reach" (along with Matthis Rowan) that betrays the Tyrells AND Lannisters to side with our boy Blackfyre.
But it's not like Dabid read the books.

Loved how Bran was on the same fucking spot for the whole episode.
No hodor, no wild bitch , no one moves him around?

Dude, fast food jobs are miserable and a huge number of customers are entitled pricks

Sam, theon and brann are /myguys/

This, there was a number of other options and frying the man alive was not the best one. Doesn't the wall need more people now than ever at this point as well?

My guess is that Yea Forums instinctively knew it was an attempt to force a meme.

>I'm not arguing that refusing to bow wasn't a foolish decision on Randyll's part

>refuse to help an army of foreigner rapists and the daughter of the mad king that just threatened to burn you alive for not betraying your queen
>foolish

No he described every American media character (although I guess Berserk and Akame Ga Kill count), also this: gomakemeasandwich.files.wordpress.com/2014/03/male-protagonist-bingo.jpg

wrong

Attached: ned-umber-thrones-death-0.jpg (549x412, 39K)

This show attracts retards like flies to shit.

>T-that's all r-right, Y-Your Highness, p-please use my face as a t-throne.

>let me inject politics in to everything!

That's correct, peasants don't pay taxes you fucking retard. And yes, lords are responsible for executing the law, not some federal kingly authority.

Jesus christ you're retarded.

Peasants who lived in a royal demesne would pay taxes directly to the king. Peasants anywhere else would pay taxes to their lords and the king would then take a cut of the taxes raised.

i thought she was just honest. at least.

Im not injecting shit, the Dothraki are foreigners and rapists

Has Daenerys gotten her patronizing self-righteous ass kicked yet? Or did the writers just make her a powerful wymyn mary sue?

>peasants don't pay taxes
OH NO NO NO NO

Not to the king. Peasants deal with payments to their lords and that agreement is set by their lords. The only people who paid the crown directly were there lords.

>dothraki LITERALLY rape entire towns as shown in episode 1 season 1 or whatever
>calling them rapists is somehow political

Attached: 1552837051134.png (622x621, 772K)

That's different than saying they don't pay taxes

Attached: simon-helberg-and-jocelyn-towne-sag-awards-red-carpet.jpg (700x500, 343K)

fire sword is fucking awesome. until GoT i never seen one since Final Fantasy magic/mystic knights'

>So far in the series she has proven to be a better force than those she opposed
How so? was she better for the dothraki than the Khal's? she got countless numbers of them killed on a crazed desert march with no supplies, and will get countless more if not all of them killed in the coming battle with the white walkers. was she better for the citizens of the cities she liberated than the slavers? their society is in chaos, at best they will be a hive of crime and radicalism akin to the middle east for generations to come.

How will she be better for the people of the seven kingdoms than Robert or even Cersei? both far from perfect rulers, but at least they understand the customs and culture of the land. She is already proving to be a far more brutal ruler than they have seen since the mad king. she burns all who oppose, she unleashes hordes of foreign barbarians only known to the seven kingdoms as scary stories told to children, she uses her dragons to strike fear into the people and laughs.

everyone is a rapist in GoT if you have not noticed.
>the rape sansa

No its the exact same thing. Peasants were serfs mostly. They didn't have money. They leased land and paid their lords with a fraction of everything the land gave them. It's the opposite of how in America now your employer and you are both taxed as independent entities. In modern days all income is taxed directly to the government. In medieval times individuals were loyal to their local lords first and those lords were in turn loyal to the crown of they wanted to be.

>didnt have money
Then its no different from slavery its unpaid labor so Europeans have kept a system of intraracial slavery for centuries longer than blacks so blacks need to shut the hell up about MUH SLAVERY WAS SO BAD.

Sam definitely took a step towards becoming based. If he at least attempts to remove Dany from power/kill her I will forgive his prior cuckery. Bonus points if he takes over the Tarly lands and house, and doesn't allow his wife's son to inherit it.

there are key differences between slavery and serfdom, namely that serfdom is an oath-status, not a property status. It's far more comparable to jim-crow era sharecropping than it is to slavery, and that's not an argument in favor of share-cropping.

You fuckers made it seem like he bowed before her and thanked her for killing his family. Then I actually watched the episode and the first thing he does after getting his emotions together is go tell Jon that Dany is clearly not fit for leadership and tells him that not only does he have the bloodline to be king, but he'd be a better ruler anyway. 100% based and you guys are fucking liars.

Attached: 1418035715569.jpg (700x711, 125K)

His father died specifically because he wasn't a traitor. Have sex.

>100% based and you guys are fucking liars.
Pretty much. Samwell has nuts of steel, and the honesty of a top-tier advisor. Aegon/Jon is a far better leader, and a good man who doesn't just slaughter people for them not "bowing". And, after all of the assholes who do murder people for not licking their asses, he is, by far, the best ruler one can possibly get.

Attached: Draco WTF.gif (213x199, 341K)

Dany is going to be a villian. The entire marheen plot is forshadowing to this. She arranged herself to marry that Hizdar guy who represented peace, stability and understanding. Dany was not sexiually attractive to him. She was attracted to Dario who represents violence and bloodshed. He would often tell Dany to kill or torture the masters and to kill all her enemies and leave marheen in chaos. Her mind wants to act right and justly but her heart lusts after revenge, bloodshed and death.

Personally I think CHAD Gendry and Podrick "Power Penis" Payne is the strongest ticket for the iron throne. the only duo capable of matching Bobby B and Ned's bro levels.

How the fuck are people only just now realizing this? all the normies are acting like this is a new revelation and putting the obvious red flags from previous seasons together like it's a mystery thriller.

>Podrick "Power Penis" Payne

Attached: 1547910526669.jpg (245x206, 7K)

Go play Dragon's Dogma.

because tumblr was so caught up in her smug yas kween slay schtick that they ignored the fact that she was displaying quite a bit of the mad Targ traits

Even if she isn't a mad Targ, she still is horribly entitled, driven by her birthright, and her belief that she is destined to rule. She's literally the opposite of Jon, who didn't know or care that he had any birthright until just this episode

>Podrick "Power Penis" Payne
This fucking topped triPod for me

Attached: kek.gif (320x182, 1.57M)

It really came to a point when she insisted that Sansa would call her queen to Jon. She's so focused on people recognizing her as queen that she's putting her own people at risk, whereas Jon is the complete opposite. It's especially concerning because shes actually taking people not wanting to follow her as a personal affront, and its actively punishing people for it. None of the people following her are better off being in Westeros. She's putting them all at risk simply by being there in order to pursue a throne that she doesn't have any practical right to even if Jon WASN'T a Targ. As far as I'm concerned, if you're dynasty gets overthrown by a popular rebellion and a new king is installed, that's rightful succession to a new ruler.

Normies are in denial because they love their strong queen.

>Podrick "Power Penis" Payne

>can't bother wheeling himself down the crypt
Christ, Bran is one lazy fucker

The scene was good, deal with it

I hope Dany dies soon. Worst character and worst actress. Fucking hell I'm rooting for Sansa here what the fuck has happened.

>two

You're right. It's called the right of conquest. Stannis was actually rightful king during the war of the 5 kings.

Clarke seems adorable IRL, kinda like your next door neighbor chick friend, but she's not much of an actress

>I hope Dany dies soon
She'll die... in childbirth. Leaving Aegon and their child to rule. It is known.

Pirates of the carribean 2 does it briefly.

>I killed your family
>quips

I just watched that episode with my girl and she was like "This is what made you think she might be going Mad Queen? She gave them a choice."
She even defended them getting burned alive. Women are retardedly pro-Dany.

It didn't help that Dabid called it a completely rational decision during the behind the scenes clip for the episode.

There was a good argument for roasting Randyll because he was a traitor (which Dany should have mentioned), refused to kneel (has justified """xenophobia""" imo) refused the black and Dany didn't want to look weak. But she should have just imprisoned his son, maybe have him do something retarded that forces Dany's hand.
But noooo, taking prisoners is bad, better to just BBQ them.

>Clarke seems adorable IRL
So is Daisy Ridley, who is also adorably plump. Why is always the cute ones that are shit-tier actresses? Oh, wait, that's probably why. Got their jobs because they were good on the "casting couch".

Attached: Arthas gets an evil boner.png (378x528, 375K)

Rob was a good king.

He's got enjoy that incest before he has to put a stop it

What was she supposed to do retards?
Lie to him? He was gonna find out sooner or later

>But she should have just imprisoned his son
She should have done that by force. Giving him the "choice" in that instance was stupid.

>Not all Dothrakis! Just the ones that are known for raping and pillaging a whole continent.

This. how is she so insufferable on the show but she seems so QT in reality? Sophie on the other hand seems like she is just playing herself in the show.

To add to this, the age old myth that lords could walk in to a peasents house at any time and rape his wife and kill him are greatly overblown. Peasents made up a bulk of a castles defenses. There were no "guards". Most of the bodyguards and groups traveling with lords about were hand picked and trained by the man at arms from the local villages and lands the lord owns. So if the lord decides to bust down a random peasents door and do the shit we see in fiction. He would have his throat cut in his sleep by the men who were supposed to protect him.
If anything this was done by an opposing lord that is trying to reduce the millitary and moral of the lord of the peasent he killed and pillaged.

Why is this meme still going? this isn't happening. unless they have a time-skip at the end of the season which would completely invalidate the rest of spoilers that went along with it.

Pretty sure one of D&D actually said "blah blah blah despite the fact that Daenerys MURDERED his father and brother...." in the post-episode clips

I thought the choice of words was interesting

because in real life she seems bumbling and down to earth which is the literal opposite of how she plays raging entitled bitch queen Daenerys

Who was the friend that wheels was waiting for?

No but he didn't want dothraki raping their way through his country! he was a bad xenophobe! executing him was a good thing!

Jaime

This. destroying one of the noble houses of the land you want to rule is not a great first move on the continent. she should have had Dickon restrained temporarily. it would have at least shown to the rest of the noble houses that she can be fair.

Because it a dumb joke about them expecting their audience to be saying that on social media.

But they're not friends??
He attempted to murder him?

I think he was being ironic when he said that to Sam

Probably a Freudian slip.
They don't have the balls to make Dany the villain.

I caught that too, what the fuck happened? In the post episode commentary before they practically praised Dany's decision to roast the Tarly's. now they are saying she murdered them. and even said that Dickon was a good man. are they trying to change the narrative on Dany at the last minute? or are they just retarded.

Go back to Yea Forums, you have shit taste weeb

>injects politics in to GoT.
rape happens non stop in GoT. all over the place. they are all rapists.
>Sansa
>The Rape

>He never got to redeem himself for fucking retards to his father before he passed
though poorly written, feels bad desu

>he doesn't like Dragon's Dogma
holy pleb

Don't worry, no charge for him.

I think they're hack-ish writers who are trying to do a last minute heel-turn with her. It's not really last minute, but the problem is that they tried way too hard to pander to Dany Yas Kweeners while also showing signs of her descent into tyranny, which gave off mixed messages. I think that's the "bittersweet" ending. Dany goes full mad targ

Yeah, I prefer my RPGs to come with an actual story and characters, not that you'd know the difference being console-trash

Daenerys was best since season 1 in this episode, same Emilia Clarke, she is so much better when writers gave her character more soft side (excluding scene with Sam, but she was fine there aswell)

Dany should've just locked the Tarlys up. Burning them alive was too brutal and made enemies. Speaking of, I don't see how in just six episodes they go from an epic end-all be-all war for the Living and Dead to regular Iron Throne politics.

>unironically wanting story and characters in a game, and not, you know, good gameplay
mega cringe, my man

Implying Margery would not marry a Blackfire.

I wonder if Brand knows what a pussy Sam is

Remind your bitch of the other shit that Dany has done, like getting hundreds if not thousands of dothraki killed on a march across the desert with no supplies. Creating a power vacuum in Essos by destroying multiple cities society's and bouncing(which will lead to countless deaths and most likely an eventual regression of their prior slave society). Hand-waving infanticide commited by her dragons. Destroying the grain harvest of the reach in a mad rage instead of simply taking it to feed her people. throwing a hissy fit every time someone doesn't immediately submit to her.

The scene of him trying to hold back his feelings was good. But the one afterward where he's indignant about it was fucking stupid. There's a goddamn war going on and he's acting like this is some fucking disney fairy tale where nothing bad ever happens and nobody ever gets harmed.

I forgot about that. I really hope D&D show the southerners starving of mass famine because Daenerys wiped out a shit ton of supplies

>video games aren't about narrative durr there about pressing buttons and making pretty colours swirl on the screen
yeah you definitely aren't a retard.

>game of thrones isnt about politics

except for the fact that in his eyes, everyone has gotten behind the wrong fucking leader in the war against the dead

retard, Clarke was better this episode than Shansha.

Is Jon Snu the worst best friend ever

>"the chick you're banging murdered my dad and brother"
>"yeah shit sucks bro, but the pussy too tight"

He was a racist for calling those fine upstanding Dothraki "Savages"

I didn't even realize that was Rickon until someone told me today. I just thought it was some random NPC on the wall. It's been so long since we saw Rickon in the show that I forgot he even existed at all.

well he's an accurate one
no way is that dothraki ravaged vagina tight

tfw they gave him a random unnecessary line about "muh foreigners" to make him seem xenophobic so that Daenerys murdering a POW would seem justified to normies.

They had money

>Give 30% away of your stuff as taxes and tributes
>Keep the majority to feed yourself and shit
>Sell the stuff you don't need

Also taxes were varried from region to region. Somewhere peasants were exempted from salt tax for example. In my country peasants didn't have to pay taxes and tributes after grapes.

not even the user you're replying to, but you're a turbopleb. no wonder seeing as you're probably a r*ddit tourist heh

have sex, incel. Emilia was great in S01, fine in S07, and very good in this episode, not her fault that writers wrote her character one dimensional in S02-06.

Dumbass

She's total fucking shit.

Why does Jon act like he literally had no choice but to be Danny's vassal? If anything she needs him more than he needs her because he's the only one fighting to stop the destruction of 'her' kingdom

>Yes, I'm aware that Cersei has no real claim to the throne

so you contradicted your first statement

>by that logic Olenna has no claim to the Wardenship, Paramountcy, or Ladyship of Highgarden -

her line was ended by said queen.
and the rightful queen is denarys.

You are obviously wrong, she was great in this episode. Have sex, again, incel.

I have no idea why so many people have this moment memory holed. they literally zoomed in on Dany's shit eating grin as she intentionally blows up the massive wagon train of grain/supplies. I also have no idea why this wasn't brought up by Tyrion or Varys after the battle. at least a quick little "Bitch, what the fuck? we could have used that"

Jon is the only one that actually gives a shit about stopping the dead, literally everyone else is still on some muh kingdoms shit. John is a houseless bastard and titles and such have never meant much to him.

he doesnt give a fuck about "rulling" north choose him, but he didnt want that.

She was pure shit. As usual. As she was in S1-S6. Yesterday was her typical usual shit. Expect more shit next week.

>argument

she could have told him they died in a fire. there were no witnesses except for tyrion. ham tarly never would've known the difference and she wouldn't be lying. win/win, faggot.

Wasnt wrong though. She did bring a foreign horde to conquer Westeros. Made me like him.

rickon died in s5 dude

Because he remembers the King who cared. He remembers how he sacrificed himself for duty.

Would have been even worse for her. she would be viewed as a slimy coward not wanting to own up to her actions, and Sam's reaction would be even worse. Face it, her final fate in this show is to be undone by a fat incel, a midget, and a man with no balls. a fitting fate for one of the biggest mary sue's to ever grace the screen.

cringe

Should have told him both were killed at the same time not that emmm, yeah we kinda killed your dad. oh double yeah we also kinda killed your brother. Well, have you accepted my job offer yet? I'm going to stand here blankly until I get an answer, I am your Queen.

>Olenna sided with a foreign invader against her liege, the queen.
Did you retards forget the part where Cersei killed both Mace Tyrell and Margarey, who was the actual lawful queen at the time.

Not a chance. He is literally GRRM down to him being a cuckold and narrator.

Rickon Died in Season 6.
Her acting is very cringe.

The librarian never dies dumbass. He killed a fucking white walker 1v1 he's living forever.

would be based if Sam killed Dany

Attached: kvltpepe.jpg (650x650, 48K)

why does it matter if jons a prince, he doesnt want to be king and its not like anybody would believe it anyways

Attached: 1543562803345.png (1000x600, 271K)

based

telling him that they died in a fire would've been the truth. if ham asked later if she set them on fire she could still have said no, my dragon did.
deny everything
admit nothing
make counter accusations
failing that, take hostages.

>step towards

He became fully based last year son, he's just stepping further away from all the other faggots. Let's be honest, he and Bronn are the only two basedboys left alive.

>not her fault that writers wrote her character one dimensional in S02-06
You're right, sweetie, it's not her fault that her "acting" is more wooden than an old-timey British Navy Galleon.

t. Shaggy

Instead of just telling Jon about it, he should have told all winterfell about it including Sansa, that would have monumentally fucked Daenerys over since they would never accept her as a queen after that.

Sansa didn't get raped anywhere, right?

>The sucky part is that there are no good villains left for him to die at the hands of
Fuck, I just realized that the only interesting "villains" are all people who don't get their hands dirty so we're done with satisfying deaths unless Jamie or Tyrion kills Cersei of course, but 99% chance Arya does that

North is retarded, they would have killed him for being a Targ.

>consented to getting married to Ramsey Snow cause he's a richfag
>upset at the consummation of such marriage which she consented to (which in medieval cultures is required to make the marriage valid)

Nope. She probably thought she could get away with marrying him and cucking him afterwards to keep the gold and status without offering sex, like she did to the manlet Tyrion.

They see him as one of their own because he fought and bled besides them, something Kelly C didn't do. There's no way they would kill him for it and not Daenerys.

Literally killed him for siding with wildlings.

That's the problem with a season in the North. Everyone is so covered up

That was only like 4 dudes. Did you miss the part where they all chanted "King in the North"? If they found out Jon was a legit king, they'd support him over Daenerys.

.....didnt Robert slay a tarly during the war of the usurper?

Tarly was a targaryen loyalist family.

They are also retarded enough to abandon a united front against an undead army, because "foreigners". God, they are pants-pissing retarded.

Attached: Nedry laugh.gif (229x176, 987K)

>>That was only like 4 dudes.
It's not like they make better decisions when there are more of them together.

>Women are retardedly pro-Dany.
I've noticed this too. Years back I gave up trying to explain to my ex why Dany's rule over Meereen was botched almost from the start and the Sons of the Harpy issue was made worse by her, if not outright a result of misrule.

>ma'an

Attached: 1539992277667.gif (806x552, 152K)

Where did you get this picture of me?

The world has plenty of sword-swinging shitbags. He's studying to be a maester, a preserver of history and knowledge, and a doctor/healer, which is of much higher value.

So whats Bronn going to do lads?

I don't see him killing Tyrion and Jaime, Bronn is a betting man, and Cersei is fucked.

I don't see Dany letting him love for what he did to the dragon.

>implying they didn't all stop completely after stronk womyn told them not to
what are you, some sort of bigot?

>Podrick "Power Penis" Payne
Holy fuck, I forgot about that.

Dickon with a D my dude. As in Dickon Tarly, he got torched with the grumpy dude who wouldn’t bendanee in the battle where Jaimie got Deus ex machina’d from drowning by Bronn

>there were no witnesses
Didn't she keep the Tarly soldiers alive as long as they obeyed?

>Jon stands beneath the Wierwood tree brooding like his mothers brother used to do
>Arya sneaks up on him and jumps on his back
>"Woah, slow down there assassin, who taught you to sneak like that?"
>"no one" Arya smugly replies
>"Its been so long since I saw you Arya, last time I saw you I was going for the wall, it was so different, a lot has changed"
>"Indeed, last time I saw you you were going for the wall, I was going for kings landing, a lot has changed"
>"Indeed. I see you still have the sword"
>she pulls out her needle
>"Still good"
>"Lets see yours" Arya says smugly
>He unties her briches, and releases HIS longclaw
>"You know how to use it Jon?" Arya asks smugly
>"Stick em with the pointy end"
>Jon plunges his dick into Arya's tight mouth
>It doesnt take long for winter to cum
>Bran watches in his minds eye, if it could his little Bran would be strong like the mountain

>Snitch
What?

That'd be self inserty as fuck for GRRM yet it'd come out of left field so fucking much I'd love it.

Originally I took the sound of Sam falling down the stairs into the crypt as the sound of Sam chucking bran down the stairs. The thought caught me so off guard I laughed for the majority of that scene

He beheaded the boys. Remember his damn quote? The one who passes the sentence should swing the sword. It stands in utter poetic contrast that Jon is willing to do that and the dragon bitch relies on her monsters to do so. It's become absurdly easy for her to whim death and damnation upon anyone who looks at her cross. Should see how willing she is to execute the disloyal if she has to do it herself.

It's justified if you're an oriental savage monster of a ruler, which daenerys is. She's an inbred freak descended from a people who were objectively evil, downright satanic in their activities - blood sacrifice, monsters raping women to make chimerical abominations.

That they've got Arya and Sansa against her is making me have faith they might actually hold her to task. I am a pessimistic and I expect she'll get along with them after a heart to heart and yass qween but I want to be proven wrong.

The show was actually very generous with how Dany left Essos. In the books, she literally collapsed their entire society and caused a devastating plague from the piles of bodies created by her war.

But that's objectively wrong. Four Northerners killed him, a roomful of Northerners made him King in the North.

Attached: 1532537150139.jpg (800x450, 46K)

>He gets Horn Hill now
No.
He swore an oath to the NW.
"I will hold no titles or lands"

kek
At least they're only cousins?

Bran would've had him raped otherwise

I'm starting to dislike her. She is letting the power go to her head. Just imagine when the truth comes out. She will likely conspire to kill Snow. The bitch is mental. Like all females

>14kb image

So this is the power of duckduckgo

>Halloween 2017
>man dressed as a woman comes the door with his son who is trick or treating
>the kid is dressed as Iron Man
>the dad is dressed as a woman
>tell them I like both of their costumes
>I thought he was wearing costume
>almost get into a fight and get screamed at about transphobia and called a Nazi
I feel like that had to have happened to that dude more than once that night

This is pretty epic,. although its a shame she is too old now

>Dany is going to be a villian.
She already is.
>Deals with blood witches
>Crucified thousands
>Burns people alive
>Ignores the dragons murdering kids
>Orders the throats cut of unarmed diplomats, trying to reach a peace (similar to violation of guest rights)
>Tries to intimidate Jon in her throne room, and again with her dragon
>Picks a father murdering imp, known to be a drunken, whoring, liar, as her hand.
>Steals a ship from the king in the north.
I mean, I could list pages of her unfitness and her crimes

>only just starting to dislike her
This is you.

Attached: Clown.jpg (1500x1500, 155K)

dany can release him

yes but tits

i forgot about that time Shaggy took a bunch of hostages after a concert

Yeah.
She's got dat ass. That can cover/restitute a plethora of crimes I guess.

They established in the very first episode Ned Stark teaching Jon Snow that
>ordering a mans death means you need to swing the sword yourself
It's been well established that all the shit evil rulers in the show order other people killed, like Joffrey, Cersei, etc . The 'good' rulers do their own killing when it's necessary.
Dany confirmed for shit ruler.

From an oath?
Hmmm. Debatable.
From arrest for desertion? Sure.
But an oath, is above politics.

so Jon and Danny are cousins, right...?

Could've sworn it was aunt/nephew

Like Gilly isn’t the best girl on the show

It is aunt/nephew. Dany's is the sister of Jon's dad.

What is this from? It looks mildly familiar and it's bugging me.

Go fuck yourself prick

That would have been hilarious.

> Not true at all. By that logic no peasant ever has to pay the king taxes or obey him. You think the king makes farmers swear to him personally?
Good job contradicting yourself.
Yes, no peasant ever has to pay taxes to the king. All lords collect taxes from their land, then pass them on to the king.
No, the king doesnt make every single citizen with a title swear to him personally. They swear to their lords and the lords swear to the king. Every citizen's loyalty is to their own lord because they deal with said lord on a daily basis.

tldr: fuck the king.

No, not debatable. It has precedence in the books.

T-thank you your Grace!

So did Jon.
Why did he accept the title "King in the North" again?

He died. At that moment, his oath was fulfilled.
Has Sam died?
No? Then it's apples and oranges.

He didn't give a shit about his dad. It was his brother that got him.

His brother wasn't much better than his father. Not even sure why Sam would give more than a tiny shit.
Dickboi didn't give a shit about Sam either.
Sam freaking out didn't make sense, but most of ep 1, seemed like it was written by a pack of lesbian UCLA women's studies majors.

She's a literal potato, that's fucking some fat autistic twat.

This series is going to end with Daenerys getting killed for the same reason her father was.

Will probably be Tarly, killing her with his fathers sword. Would be poetic.

>whats Bronn going to do
Well, let's see....
He told the imp, that he'd have killed the babies, but would have charged more.
He was going to marry a slow chick to have her murdered off, so he could get their castle.
He refused to champion the imp vs the mnt. He was already bought off.
He may like pod, and the imp, and even Jamie. It won't matter. He has no loyalty to them. Even the hound said he was just another killer.

Ew why is he kissing his aunt

If he's smart he'll take Cersei's gold and sail to somewhere warm.

>Captain Marvel has short hair now
Hnng rule 34 when?

>No hodor, no wild bitch
They're both dead you fucking casual

Azor Sam will never die!

It goes right along with your star wars and blacked.com collection, doesn't it?

Except she isn't. If you wanna shoot for Targaryens then Jon has the better claim. If you are a Baratheon loyalist, then Stannis, but I bet your bitch ass never rooted for the Mannis.

>because of his xenophobia

Attached: 1496451679657s.jpg (250x241, 7K)

Tarly was a bannerman to the Tyrells. The Tyrells were a leige lord to the crown. The Tyrells betrayed the crown for a foreigner. Tarly remained loyal to the crown. Why can't yu retards understand this?

Autism

>traitor

His dad didn't owe any allegiance to Dany. Nobody does. She's just some presumptuous psychopath going around demanding fealty by force.

It's so weird to see so many basic bitches declare how much they love her character. She's just so blatantly evil, and not even in any likeable way. I just don't get how anyone could identify with her unless they're a complete monster themselves.

You don't get to define the criteria for godhood my man.

what the fuck? Is "Let them in" actually written over his wife's chest? He is a jew isn't he?

Attached: 1552935817473.jpg (405x322, 30K)

Thanks.

She's a strong woman user. have sex

it's pretty heavily implied he didn't just "consumate the marriage", she seemed heavily traumatized, he's literally one of the most evil characters on the show, you don't have to defend him.

yeah I mean, they have this scene where she pisses off one of the most sympathetic characters of the show and then is immediately followed by her position being threatened by jon, I don't think she is ending up in a happy place but D&D have to pander for now.

YAAAAAASSSS KWEEEEEN

The dad was weaker so he died first making Dickon a lord for a few seconds before he died as well.

>starting
been hating her since season 3

>i burned your father and brother with dragin fire because they wouldn't bow down to me and for literally no other reason.
>t-t-thanks, my queen.

>need to endear yourself to a bunch of notoriously stubborn Northmen, and convince them that you're different than your father
>march an army of savages through their lands and scare the shit out of them with giant dragons

Attached: 1523844716150.png (544x566, 653K)

It kinda has, been seeing it on my FB all day. Whack.

Literally the only good part of the episode.

tyrion is gonna get a crossbow bolt to the gut - probably taking the hit for jaime
grrm likes that poetic cyclical shit way too much

That analogy... KEK

The point is that she killed a fair few more nobles than just Sam's family.

Because his brother died too you fucking idiot.

Sure, there's a difference between the two but in the end, both results in death. Sure, swinging the sword is more ballsier than quirking your dragon to do the job, but again, there will be just as many people who see no difference, than a couple dozen who does.

The Khalasar died after following her knowingly on a difficult path. The walkers will kill everyone anyway granted, they would not have been able to do that to those remaining in Essos (for the time being anyway). I think we should emphasize that she still liberated the slaves, thus it was a good intention from Dany's part, but the consequences were still dire. That said, would Jon have acted differently? Certainly, he would have freed the slaves as its a central tenet to those in Westeros, but how would have he handled the Harpies?

I'm not arguing that her actions didn't create bad consequences, I'm just saying that so far she meant well for all, to those in need and to her followers too. Does her dragons and executions look cruel and crazy to some Westerosi? Yes. But again, she is well aligned with her powerlevel (dragons), and is certainly a better alternative than Cercei, Robert (who didn't do jackshit, thats why he was "good" ruler) and the Mad King (who may or may not turn out to have been warged into by Bran). But we all know Jon will win nonetheless in the end, which is just a shitty deus ex anyway.

No
