How much does he cringe when he watches the show? Is he happy with the dialogues? Does he regret not finishing the books before giving the show a green light?

i doubt this fat fuck cares as long as hes getting paid millions and fucking pornstars

He stopped watching it around season 6. He makes time for last kingdom though.

He's forfeit any right to bitch about adaptations.

Stay in one fucking thread you disgusting subhumans. Or better yet, go back to that shithole r*ddit you came from..

>the last kinodom
true patrician.

The books are just as shit as the show. In some ways worse.

us.blastingnews.com/showbiz-tv/2017/07/the-last-kingdom-gets-support-from-game-of-thrones-author-001856943.html

100% agreed

How are the books worse? That's a really retarded opinion you have there user.

He's unable to finish a fucking book, so he has no right to cringe.

Plus the only good book in ASOIAF was the first one.

Not untrue.

>How are the books worse?
when someone told me about Lady Stoneheart I was completely sure it was some fanfiction and the person was mixed up

Literally what the fuck is his problem?

Oh I see, you didn't actually read the books but still think your opinion matters.

>the last kinodom
how is it compared to vikings? vikings was full retard by season 3

I read them later only to find out to my utter horror the person was correct

he doesn't cringe, he sneeds

the books are all trash.

>Have life's crowning achievement
>Give so little of a fuck you just stop watching the show based on it
>Gives so little of a fuck you don't even bother finishing it
How do I learn this power?

He did well. I regret every minute I wasted reading that unfinished shit story. The 100th time you read a multi-page description of food or clothing you realize your time is worth more

Send him a letter and ask. Or do you really think that the fat farmer browses this board and answers to you?

Poor bookfag! Your hero is getting paid to get fat and get blowjobs from beautiful men and you're seething you'll never get your stories finished.

Showchads won, bitch!

You think he stays up at night working out plans to get his hands on Maisie

He stopped watching.

literally the only difference between bookfags and showfags is that the former don't gather in shitty bars and livestream themselves yelling and crying. They all worship a shit young adult series

>Write yourself into a corner with your last book
>Suddenly, the TV adaptation of your book becomes a megahit
>Become wildly rich and famous almost overnight
>Despite the occasional "Where's Winds, fatass?" online, most people just tell you to take as long as you need
>Decide to just kick back, and spend what time you've got left enjoying your newfound riches and fame

Sounds pretty sweet to me.

>fucking pornstars
really?

Lucky sod

I really think they're gonna hire someone to ghost write the rest of the series, if they haven't already. not like Gurm would mind

Nah, she's probably one of the reasons he stopped watching that shit.

t.fat fuck

better but it's still part of the same cringy genre, norsemen is the best viking show

i doubt he cares, he's going to write an entirely different ending just to fuck with D&D

I'm a writer and some of my stuff has been adapted into a TV show. I'll tell you how I felt. It's absolutely thrilling to see and hear your words being spoken by actors. It's like if you made a figure out of clay and it suddenly sprung to life. Its like they're breathing life into your imagination. It's really, really weird seeing a show for the first time and knowing all the lines before they're spoken, so while characters are talking you know exactly what they're going to say. It makes you feel like a psychic or something. Sometimes the director or actors change things, like dropping or shortening lines, but usually it's for the best in the end. Sometimes they deliver lines in a way that you aren't expecting but that you're still happy about because it works just as well or better, which is occasionally surprising. Sometimes they totally fuck up, but oh well. I can tell you that anyone who writes for film or TV is happy just to see their work produced, even if it turns out bad, and if it's actually good it's like being high. Writers usually only get bitter over things like being screwed over in contracts or having credit stolen or having another writer brought into do rewrites and ruin everything. That kind of thing will suck the thrill out of things pretty fast. But when everything clicks there's nothing like it in the world.

He just said in an interview that the show is 97% the same as his books and will have the same ending

Based

He's too busy seething about Aragorn's tax policy 24/7 to care about watching OR writing.

>Martin divides writers into two types: architects who create their worlds, thinking about the smallest details before starting to write; and gardeners, who advocate for improvisation. He attributes himself to the second type.

>"This approach, of course, has its side effects," Martin stated. “Several times the plot has led me to a dead end, from where there is no way out. I had to go back and rewrite everything again.”

That...explains so fucking much.

OF COURSE HES FINISHED THE BOOKS.

Hes just been paid lots of money to not release them yet. Otherwise it would interfere with peoples attention on the tv show, and everyone would go "it ended better in the books".

plot twist: it will not

>the books will have an ending
Hahaaha

>OF COURSE HES FINISHED THE BOOKS
yea absolutely

interesting coincedence, i also stopped watching after season 6. The show became quite boring and conflicts between characters dont seem to be natural like they were before

Delusional redditor.
