I love it...

I love it, but I'm consistently told the movie is a mess with an overcomplicated plot which fails to climax given you see it at the beginning. Is this view correct?

It only seems that way on the first viewing in my opinion, once I finished it I was satisfied.

No.
It's a well-directed movie with an interesting gimmick and spectacular acting. It's kino.

It's my favorite Nolan, it's great.

Does anyone else like watching it in chronological order?

Just watch in reverse, it makes a whole lot more sense that way.

I wish people gave it a second chance.
Do you spin the dvd backwards?

Like whoa dude...

it was entertaining but i felt that it didn't have any message or deeper meaning

I don't remember anything about this movie.

No, it's a special feature on the second disc. It's a pain in the ass to get to because I do it so infrequently that I either have to re-figure it out for myself or just google it.

kek
wtf? I wonder if there's a torrent for it backwards

this one and the prestige are my favorite Nolan kino
this one I love especially because every time I've seen it, as soon as he says "now, where was I?" the last time I forget the entire fucking movie
it's like he's pavloving your ass and you don't realize it until the end
granted it's not a deep movie or anything but it's got a fun gimmick and he uses it expertly

You have to solve a goddamn puzzle on the second disc to get to it. Don't know about a torrent.

>with an overcomplicated plot

Literally first time I ever read or heard about this. What is complicated about this movie? Seriously, the narration is pretty straightforward once you realise it's being told backwards. No offense but if someone told you that you need to hang out with non-retarded people.

>which fails to climax

More arguable, however I think the script did a nice job of structuring an arc with the challenge of it not being presented chronologically. The realization, and choice the character makes at the end is a good climax as any, thematically.

I saw it about 3 years ago for the first time, and cant remember a single thing from the movie.

It must have been pretty bad for me not to remember anything.

A torrent doesn't work because you have to check the back of the CD case and dial it in.

Actually last time this thread was posted you said it was Nolan's second best work, behind the one with Michael Cain.

Is that a Metal Gear Solid reference? I don't torrent, so I don't know.

I don't know I rented it so I had to check videofaqs to figure it out.

Is it a mgs reference or not?

Inarritu did it better.
