The episode was almost perfect. That ending with Bran and Jaime was amazing.

Fuck fight scenes for the sake of it. Nobody cares about Yara anyway, no need to waste that much screen time rescuing her.

It's legitimately amazing how a show that used to be as good as GoT and has now gone to complete shit when they ran out of source material was able to absolutely hook such a large majority of its watchers who just kinda accept anything that happens because they stopped paying attention to stuff and are just there to enjoy this now social event of watching GoT every Sunday. That's also why that directors commentary thing after is a thing, it's just DnD spelling things out for their dumb viewers telling them how to think about the scenes to hide the fact that they're done incredibly sloppily and mediocre now.

I mean at least we got tits and ass again for like 10 seconds....but that's about it. Nothing Happens: The Episode for the nth time.

It was unnecesary, but was a beautiful scene with the funny touch of Drogon looking at Jon while kissing Daenerys.

She already spilled the beans about using the iron islands as an escape if they can't beat the Night King in Winterfell.

The episode goes to the point in presenting the basic plots of this season. It was pretty fluid and well executed with a handful of very good scenes and some tidbits of well executed humour. Even the actor that incarnates Bran is good, which is something that only happened before, when he was an adorable child and not the ugly teenager he became some seasons ago.

Maisie Williams on the other hand is the worst actress ever. Not only she has become fat and ugly being almost not recognizable compared to the young Arya, but her acting skills have gotten far worse with time.

The actor that plays Sam, on the other hand, has made an amazing work in this episode. He and Jorah bring life and emotion in the scene, while Daenerys is the usual autistic robot faking emotions.
