Yeah I didn’t feel like it was a criticism it was just stupid. I know most people wouldn’t be bothered by it because they’ve never been to a prison. There were really good representations like the abstract rules (stand in the yellow box, relinquish your ring) but the 120lb cops at red leaf wearing all black with jack boots and shotguns made me laugh. The secret prison in a prison made me laugh harder.

yeah he's surprisingly good at playing a hardman, considering it's the only time in quite a long hollywood career he's done it afaik

Zahlers movies are pretty typical “guy” movies. The focus is mostly on manly virtues like sacrificing for ones family and righteous anger. The dialogue can be clumsy, the violence schlocky, and there are occasionally retarded plot holes, but they’re all very entertaining movies with great characters
