Not as good as Con Air better than The Rock
It was Kino and then some.
It combined a number of Auteur John Woo’s usual imagery set pieces, with Nickolas Cage and John Travolta’s over the top acting, with a number of excellent supporting actors, who came off far better than they otherwise might have.
I have no clue why Margaret Cho was cast in the small part she was, but she came of far less cringe than in her comedy acts.
Alessandro Nivola Was great as the brother.
The ‘Somewhere over the Rainbow’ scene was Kino.
The casting of Dominique Swain as the FBI agents daughter was perfect.
Like ‘The Rock’, there should be a Criterion edition.
surprisingly good
the most kino of all
it was literally non-stop exciting. such a stupid premise but youre hooked all the way through and i was impressed as the stars acted as each other would. so great.
Somebody post it.
Woo's masterpiece?

Yes, it's up there with Con Air and The Rock as late 90s Cage-kino. Probably in my top 10 action films of all time
woops, forgot about Hard Boiled, it's actually that hands down
My IQ is 120 and I think it's great.
