I'm just glad the entirety of Yea Forums agrees that The Rock is Nic Cage's best work, and no one unironically think it's Con-Air

It's Raising Arizona you pleb

Raising Arizona*

Personally, my favorite is Vampire's Kiss.

You're all wrong, it's Face Off

>Con-Air
literal trash, can't even call it a movie, it's a "flick"

Adaptation exists

Face off

It's Matchstick Men, actually.

it doesnt matter. all three are on background rotation

Weather Man if you are talking about non action flick

Reminder that The Rock caused the Iraq War of 2003.

haven't seen it but I doubt it is better

Lord of War

...by far, now go kill yourself

It's clearly Leaving Las Vegas

Sure thing, bro.

only lonely tradcuck virgins like this movie today.

>The Rock
>Con Air
>Face Off
How can one man be so based?

Bad Lieutenant is his best work

Con Air has too many quality stars to think of it as a Nic Cages's movie.

>two SEAL teams set off the alarm upon entry and are killed
>American mercenaries shooting each other after immediately finding out theyre not getting paid
>One old and malnurished SAS soldier resolves entire situation within hours
what did Bay mean by this?

Came here to post this

Thank you, yes

The Indisputable Ranking:
Gone in 60 seconds
The Rock
Matchstick Men
National Treasure
Con Air
Face/Off
8mm

All the rest

The Rock is more of a group effort really and Cage's cageyness is muted. But I feel like it definitely is better than Con Air.

>main actors are awesome (Nic Cage, Sean Connery, Ed Harris)
>supporting actors are great (Michael Biehn, John Spencer, David Morse)
>the music is rocking (Hans Zimmer & Co. at their best)
>the director is in tight control of the producers (Don Simpson RIP)

It's a very nice and tight action movie and is probably Bay's best.

Attached: Alcatraz-Movie.jpg (700x300, 207K)

lol look at this pleb

Simon West is a basic hired director. I'm thinkin Con Air needed a little bit more polish and someone like Michael Bay with Jerry and Don producing would have made it the diamond it kinda wants to be but just misses the mark. It's enjoyable, but something is off.

Goddamn plebs

It's so bad it circles back around to good again.

>Well I only bring it up because uhh... It's you. You're the rocket man.
Was it kino?

Jesus Tapdancing Christ.

Tony Todd playing a bad guy? Of course it was kino.

Nic Cage is a reddit meme actor

Yes but he was on everyone's favorite actor list back then. If you didn't include him in that list, then you are either too young or low test.

>too young
I'm old enough to remember when people hated Nic Cage.

Leaving Las Vegas is his best.

The SAS is simply the best.

these 2 are the correct answers

Attached: Face.jpg (1000x1426, 587K)

I uses to like Face Off until O&A ruined it for me. Now all I notice is the creepy hand thing and the way he says "face OFF" whenever I watch it.

it's Leaving Las Vegas, you brainlet.

that honestly makes it better

Attached: nic cage.jpg (500x725, 79K)

Con air is so good you would think it is a Bay film

> I'd like to take his face, off.

One of the best titular lines in all of cinema.

It's actually National Treasure.

mmhahaha WEEEEEEEEEEEE what a perdicament

Its just too cheesy for me.

con air and the rock are cheesy. Face/off is great

>and the way he says "face OFF"
how the fuck did you not notice that on your own? it's the funniest line in the fucking movie you dumbass

actually, its leaving las vegas

I guess I just blanked it out to carry on enjoying the film.

I expected a lot more action and a lot less rapey face stroking

None of you even watched this i bet. or bangkok dangerous, kick-ass or ghost rider

>lol look at this pleb
it's a terrible movie through and through, fucking duce bigalo of action flicks

>Bay film
>good

Attached: peterson doubt.jpg (501x643, 51K)

Watched all of them and ghost rider 2 too

>What's bad boys 1&2

Attached: 1552106040177.png (420x420, 12K)

Everyone saw Mandy, it was good. Of course I've seen ghost rider, but you're right about Bangkok. That looks pretty shit

Watch The Rock. It's good.

lmao you have shit taste your opinions are worthless

yodeleHEEEEEEEEEOOOHEEEHEEEEHEEEyooooheeeeeeyoooHEEEheeeeeeeeeyeheeeeheeee

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHEEEEEEEEEEEEEHEEEEEHEEEEHEEEyoooooHEEEEyoooheeeeheeeeeeeee

Who dares wins, old chap

The Rock is his best, but he's also great in National Treasure. Con-Air, Face-Off, Lord of War, Matchstick Men, Snake Eyes, Gone in 60 Seconds, Ghost Rider are all unironic Cage kino

The Rock is literally a 10/10 film

Does anybody else think Face/Off would've been better if the roles were reversed?
>Cage playing an insane mass murderer trapped in another body and pretending to be a hero cop
He was born for that role

Stop, son.

Attached: 77-caine-theweatherman.jpg (550x400, 89K)

Whenever he isn't on screen the movie is boring, but other than that he completely nails it.

youtube.com/watch?v=Lct6x-XqWrw

Memes aside I think he gave a solid performance.

Attached: nick.jpg (311x162, 5K)

>what is pain and gain?

it's adaptation though
wild at heart deserves mention too

come think of it he has surprisingly great filmography for someone who's been reduced to meme actor in past 10 years or so

Oh wee you’re good lookin, you’re HOT

Bangkok dangerous was good. Shit I can’t think of a single bad Cage movie that wasn’t meme-material

Bad lieutenant is in the conversation

>GLASS OR PLASTIC
GLASS OR PLASTIC
>GLASS OR PLASTIC

Attached: big_1510134190_image.jpg (1280x646, 109K)

There is absolutely nothing bad about a Neveldine/Taylor movie.

Prepare to live

youtu.be/rI054ow6KJk

that movie was some real edgy garbage

Attached: 1548600891697.png (298x261, 129K)

best is lord, and Conair is better than Rock

The best film he's been in is quite obviously Wild At Heart, though his best work performance-wise is either Bad Lieutenant or Vampire's Kiss.

Attached: 1451372312949.jpg (496x496, 134K)

The Rock is an amazing movie but I'd argue that it's more because of Connery and Helms than Cage. Though Cage is still great.

Oh fuck me... I just confused Ed Harris with Ed Helms.
Time to die.

Family Man
Lord of War
Raising Arizona

Tiberium?

I just scrolled by and was absolutely disgusted by your post. Thanks for ruining my morning.

>ctrl+f
>red rock west
>moonstruck
>bringing out the dead
>adaptation
One fucking result. Embarrassing.

some of his more recent movies, the straight to dvd type shit, isn't really watchable, not even for cage.

...

Nic cage has a bunch of kino on the same top level, no use pitting them. The rock is Bay's best flick for sure, although 13 hours was pretty based

>ctrl + f
>No Deadfall

Womack why am I not surprised, you piece of shit

You forgot Joe

Adaptation
BL:POC:NO
Leaving Las Vegas
Raising Arizona

Everything else is for children. I'm glad I'm not some kind of manchild who watches Con Air or The Rock.

ABORT! ABORT!

Holy Jesus I just realized Jim Caviezel is the fighter pilot.

Attached: jimmy.jpg (1227x526, 55K)

>No one has mentioned Next or The Knowing
Am I the only person here who liked those?

>no Wild at Heart

I fell asleep during Mandy. Bangkok Dangerous is kino

>8mm
>for children

little fact about those glass beads

In an MI6 report from September 2002, a "new source" with "phenomenal access" to Iraq's biological and chemical weapons capabilities claimed that nerve agents VX, sarin and soman had been produced at a facility in Al-Yarmuk, and stored in containers including "linked hollow glass spheres."

Eyebrows were soon raised inside MI6 after the report was circulated, with "one recipient" pointing out the similarities to the film.

According to the Inquiry, it was suggested that "glass containers were not typically used in chemical munitions; and that a popular move (The Rock) had inaccurately depicted nerve agents being carried in glass beads or spheres."

bad lieutenant is the cage kino and everyone ITT is a faggot

>not Wild At Heart
>not Bringing Out The Dead
>not Rumble Fish
>not Peggy Sue Got Married
>not Snake Eyes
>not Vampire's Kiss
>not Joe
>not Lord Of War
>not Matchstick Men
>not Mom & Dad
>not Moonstruck
>not Dark

Turns out you just have shit taste user.

This things are very aesthetic. Although in the movie they weren't exactly glass? You can pretty much see one ball melting away in one scene or do I remember it wrong?

Pain and gain is literally a Mark Wahlberg power fantasy film

con air is unironically kino

what happened to nic cage? how did he go from A list to B list actor?

Just saw that last night. Great fucking movie

>not leaving las vegas
pleb

IM GONNA SHOW YOU THAT GOD DOES EXIST

gambling debts to the russian mob
cocaine
he owns like 7 castles

this

The Rock is his best movie, but it's not the movie where he is at his best.

Dubs are correct. National Treasure is a national treasure.

Shit, you're right.

>Nic Cage's best work
>not Bad Lieutenant
>not Bringing out the dead
>not Leaving Las Vegas

>Not Family Man

This.
Nic is unironically good in this movie. He was born to play H. I.

That’s a weird way to spell kino

sorry what I thought Face Off was his best work
The Rock is fantastic though

>Not National Treasure

"Adaptation" is his best film.

I don't know which one Ive re-watched more, The Rock or Con-Air.
Probably The Rock.

Also this.

Shut your whore mouth.
