I love this movie, great escapist fantasy. The Beast's Fortress is some amazing set design

I love Krull.

I feel it never got the attention it deserved.

It deserved more attention, but it's not totally forgotten at least. I think it gets lumped in with other 80s fantasies movies like Beastmaster or Legend.

And it probably never will, not when it came out between Star Wars and Conan. Sad to be sure, it's well made

Have you seen Legend?

It's a weird movie. It's not really a Serious Business Fantasy, but it's not exactly tongue in cheek like say princess bride either. It feels more like a successor to Errol Flynn swashbuckling movies than anything else.

>successor to Errol Flynn swashbuckling
Not him but Errol is my favorite actor of all time. Of all the 80s fantasy flicks, I think the closest in tone and style to his movie is Pic Related

and day watch.

I haven't watched this since the early 80's. But when I was a kid, the idea of a sword that can shoot other swords was epic.

whats up ruskie.

I lately watched Volkodav which i liked, will i like Scythian?

I liked em. Been a while since I've seen em though.

I'm no Pinko

But yeah, if you liked wolfhound you'll probably like Scythian

Night watch holds up pretty well. day watch less so.

Krull is the shit

One of the best scores ever too

>will i like Scythian?
If you like fast-paced, gritty, and very bloody Sword & Sorcery films then yes. It was a bit too stylish at times for my tastes, but I still enjoyed it.

It's not a good movie, but it tickles a fetish.

Watching awful people turn against eachother in an actual fucking shitshow heavily appeals to me and my sense of humor

There was a Krull pinball machine, but only 10 prototypes were made.
There is footage of it though:

Did anyone else watch let alone like this? I thought it was great given it's minuscule budget. Really shows that creativity can trump a big budget. Also shows you don't need a shit ton of money to at least make your movie LOOK good.

It had a little lower level playfield underneath the normal playfield, viewed through a reducing lens.
If you want to play it, someone made a digital version in VPX.

Thanks. I knew it'd probably be on a russian torrent site, but I couldn't remember any.

Yeah, OP is bait baiting faggot. My favorite Krull quote was when the main character tries to get the bandits to join them and offers them fame as a reward. The guy in your pic goes:

>"Fame? Nah. It's an empty purse. Count it, go broke. Eat it, go hungry. Seek it, go mad!"

Ha, I just realized I can remember that but nobody's names. Maybe Corwin (?) and Urgo The Magnificent (?). I'm probably close. I think the old guy they just called "The Old Guy".
