Because majority of the people out here in India don't watch films for content, story and any of that shit. It's purely entertainment that one can watch with their brains turned off. A catchy dance number, corny ass jokes maybe put some action sequence in here and there and you got your typical bollywood circus and it will make you rich. That's how you do business, other than bollywood you have some kino indie films but they don't earn well, some are never released.
