I was only being mildly ironic. Cinemas are really outdated and are only good for social occasions and "fun" movies unless you're going to a really nice place. I'm lucky enough to be living in Germany where people know to shut the fuck up in cinema, I can't even imagine how insufferable it would be to watch a movie in the US where people cheer and clap at the most basic shit just to draw attention to themselves.
