Gravity falls is one of the best thing I've ever watched
Why is Yea Forums ignoring this gem ?
Yea Forums is that way --->
It's actually the other way retard
>Gravity falls is one of the best thing I've ever watched
You need new glasses then
When does it get good, about 4 eps in and its shit
Because tv never actually watches anything. They just browse webmds and shit post.
One of the jannies over there hates the show due to the creator dumping his wifu and deletes threads whenever they gain any traction.
Because it's nuanimation shit, and you should feel bad for liking it.
But mostly because this isn't Yea Forums
i watched it through a couple months ago. it's a lot of fun, definitely a bit kiddie at times though. i genuinely liked most of the characters and it was legitimately funny for much longer than i expected. overall i think it's a pretty great cartoon series and i wish i could have been a kid when it aired
what waifu got dumped?
I unironically loved this show. One of the best cartoons I've ever seen. Yea Forums is just filled with retards who don't even like movies or shows and are just complaining about everything.
yeah, i get that cal arts has spunked all over this show, but i don't care, it was a great.
t. Blargsnarf
It's okay but it's trying to be Twin Peaks for Kids. I have the real Twin Peaks for that
this, but I think the show is just okay. Like decent gags and charm, but the whole overaeching plot and lore stuff is a high concept waste of time
>Why is Yea Forums ignoring this gem?
Because cartoons belong on Yea Forums.
That being said, Gravity Falls is really good and one the few cartoons in the past decade actually worth watching along with Flapjack, Chowder, Over the Garden Wall, Regular Show and the first 3 seasons of Adventure Time.
Possibly the only cartoon I actually enjoyed watching with my kids other than Mystery Inc. That being said
Grunkle Stan is pretty based. So is the creator of the show for actually finishing it off instead of letting it slowly die in mediocrity. I don't love the last story arc, but I did enjoy it while it was going, and once again, I respect Hirsch for maintaining the story's structure (an unforgettable summer away from home)
hey its sans
for true, i liked it very much, but if ten year old me had seen it his mind would have been blown
Whats crazy is that gravity and gumball are actually great despite their generic artstyle
Actually, eat shit, gumballs only generic character is the waterson family, every other character is not only a different artstyle but also a different style of animation. Gumball is an aesthetic as fuck show
Show would have been better without mabel tbqh. She's a piece of shit character who learns nothing, yet always gets her way, despite even creating hardship and trouble for others. Show would have been much better with a hard focus on dipper
I know what you mean, but it's a Disney show, and for the most part she's pretty funny. It's supposed to be silly, for better and for worse, and Mabel excels at funny silliness
I watched the first episode years ago but never continued.
Are there incest undertones? That will get me to watch it.
Imagine Wirt without having Greg and Beatrice as a foil. You would complain about him being an edgy douche, same thing here.
no, genuine twin relationship
they bitched out on stan sacrificing his mind (going completely senile) so it was rendered inert garbage.
Incest is the most genuine twin relationship

-Shelley, Laon & Cythna
Because it went to shit after Not What He Seems, and even before that it really was just a standard sitcom cartoon, for example half of the season 1 episodes are about Dipper trying to get it with Wendy. It's just a mediocre cartoon in hindsight and its cleverness came mostly from The Brothers Chap who jumped ship halfway through season 2.
It's a good show. Grunkle is the best.
Because there's an entire board for this type of show and you can discuss it there
