Just a theory people like to float around. Even if it were true its too late to play any sort of role in the show so it's mostly relegated to the books. Also Rhaegar is still older so his oldest son, Jon Snow, is still the rightful heir.

That makes sense but Rhaegar and his son are both death in the show so a last minute revelation involving Tyrion feels more possible than a last minute revelation involving a complete stranger.

AFFC is great. Jonfags, Danyfags, and Tyrionfags hate it because they aren't in it. Brienne's chapters are particularly slow because Sansa and Arya's Chapters are included in the book, so you 100% KNOW she isn't going to find either of them because you know where they are and you know she's nowhere close to them. However they pick up a lot towards the end. Jaime's chapters are maximum comfy, and the Riverrun chapters with his aunt Genna and her Frey husband are probably the best in the book. Cersei's chapters are masturbatory "holy shit Cersei you're a genius" and narcissism with a good payoff at the end. The Ironborn are fleshed out, which is probably my second favorite plotline of Feast. On the weaker side are the Arriane chapters, which I put slightly above Brienne because they're original but you just get introduced to this girl 4 books and it's hard to get invested in her.

No. The show is pretty bad after season 4, with a few great moments scattered throughout the rest of the seasons.

The characters feel like they haven't progressed at all since Season 5 except maybe Sansa because they made her "Strong woman leader".
