Well it's a mystery and everyone with sharp insight knows the choice failed. It withered. Daisy never blossomed. She's like JLaw if JLaw started acting like an entitled ditz before she won Oscars. Daisy didn't need to challenge herself because she won before filming began. She's set for life.

But the bigger question: what did Disney initially see in her? It's very rare for a micromanaged global empire like Disney with a century of talent search behind it to misfire like this.
