Captain Marvel

Have sex.

interstellar or something, dumb people wont get it, rest will understand but intelligent people will realise how dumb it is

Any Marvel or DC movie
The opposite: Captain Ron

Christopher Nolan movies

Synecdoche New york

interstellar is a fantastic answer

The Martian

Sneed

Eternal Su shine of the Spotless mind. God that film was bad.

Any Marvel or DC movie with a diverse main character because simple people need to feel like they're important and progressive

I would have liked it if they had just went their seperate ways at the end.

honestly i think inception works too even if its a better movie than interstellar

Get fucked

that movie is great though

Absolutely this. Inception had great visuals but the ending made no sense in the context of the plot.

Spoken like a middle IQer. Note that I say this as I consider myself in the low IQ range. But outside of that chick from Houses panty scenes, it sucked ass.

my parents love Captain Ron

sorry you didnt get it

Almost anything by Nolan would work

The Last of Us

This this this.

Every james Cameron movie

Yeah sorry you’re too dumb to get it

Your parents are based. How about you?

First thing I thought.

What movie is this?

Doom. I say this as an above average IQ.

The Last of Us is actually like this Only middling IQ tryhards dislike the game.

only god forgives is a hi iq film. i scored 1530 on my sat and i don't understand it but enjoyed it immensely.

Kek sorry about your only-average IQ. TLOU was only deep and original if you were entirely uncultured. In reality it steals every single idea in the game without putting any real unique spin to them. And fyi basedboys, sappy=/=good.

Spotted the middle-brow normie

I don't understand these graphs

Star Wars unironically

Runs like hot garbage and plays like every boring "it's not about fighting, games are ART" cover shooter that era shat out. Even Uncharted is better.

I agree. Every Star Wars even, not just the new ones.

TLoU was never meant to be deep or original. Only middling IQ contrarians ever put forth that notion.

The story is good though. Only middling IQ tryhards think that gameplay is the number 1 aspect of video games. High IQ players have nothing to prove. We can play games that take a lot of skill, or a low amount of skill. Games like TLoU, are just a pleasant break between higher skill games.

All Nolan and Tarantino films

sorry

any pseudo intellectual movie.

triumph of the will

based

Nigger you haven't been laid in six years.

Based and unironically redpilled.

Rick and Morty

If I wanted to watch a movie that makes me play the world's dullest whack-a-mole between scenes, I'd play a better one. Sony has no lack of them, seeing as they're very heavily invested in mass market console shooters. Or, get this, I could even get that with remotely passable gameplay; that's also Sony, the newest God of War. SCE titles tend not to veer on the brilliant side, but Last of Us is getting down to the bottom wrung.

That show is way closer to OP's image though

How the fuck did you know that? Seriously. Stop spying on me.

Not Another Teen Movie

Every single movie directed by Christopher Nolan

in fact this graph is a perfect representation of his aesthetic in general

Basically any above-average summer blockbuster that doesn't stand up well to scrutiny like Inception or the Dark Knight movies or the Watchmen adaptation.
And this would have to be something that offers something easily digestible to proles, but something that provides a significant roadblock to fully taking it in. Example: Shin Godzilla's giant monster, and its text that appears so frequently and so briefly that the DVD release doesn't subtitle a third of what's shown.

TLoU is actually better written and acted than the others. In terms of story and acting, it's the movie game to beat all movie games. You're still stuck in "I'm a hardcore gamer, who only cares about gameplay" mindset. The tryhard mindset I like to call it.

Hocus Pocus

The only movie I've seen that fits this graph is Fight Club. Middlebrow critics absolutely hate it without exception, its most devoted fans consist of moronic manchildren and post-structuralist thinkers.

But it holds true for a huge amount of moe anime

Really good answer

wolf of wall street

Both really solid points

Star Wars prequels

Good answer

Wrong as fuck. Even putting aside the single player the multiplayer is high IQ.

Avatar

Inception

Inception.

The Rock movies, the stupid CRITICS sit right in the middle

Attached: 3C1102A4-1A63-4EFD-847D-2529B81DEB0E.jpg (209x242, 7K)

Prequels

Middlebrow prestige film stuff like anything from Fox Searchlight. Like Garden State, Babel, Birdman, Amores Perros, Biutiful, The Revenant, Brokeback Mountain, The Master, Inherent Vice, etc.

Hopelessly lowbrow types wouldn't like that stuff, but people with good instincts would see past it all too. I wouldn't really use IQ as the determining factor though; artistic or cultural instinct isn't exactly about typical intelligence, even if a lot of people who have it are usually unusually smart anyways. But that instinct is beyond high and low.

Requiem for a Dream

That's not a movie numbnuts.

Dumb people and smart people don't enjoy it, but average people do.

The Fountain

Conan the Barbarian (1982).

High-energy working class types obviously would love it, people with an eye for genius can appreciate its perfect execution and aesthetic vision, but middlebrow people would find it rather 'iffy' and 'dumb' and its politics 'disconcerting'.

Tarantino movies
Brainlets don't get the pop culture humor and fast "witty" dialogue, and anyone with a brain got bored with his style a long time ago

I think dummies like Tarantino just for the violence, shock value and quotes, though. Or, really, the same reason anyone who likes Tarantino does.

accurate

Man of Steel/BvS
>Brainlet: dude cool action
>Average psued: Muh grim and gray bullshit more like Hack Snyder like DUDE I get it HE'S JESUS LMAO what a moron
>Intellectual: dude cool action with a decent moral dilemma and some nice camera work

you're a genius dude

Starship troopers

That plot was literally made for Nolan's filmography, especially Inception and Interstellar.

Swindlers List

End of Evangelion

EVERY single film in the Criterion Collection, and I mean ALL of them

Did you never get past elementary school?

>movie game to beat all movie games
>when Bioshock exists

looper

t.high school graduate

Tron Legacy

It had a great soundtrack, interesting visuals, and a good overall plot. The writing is bad, and the explanations to things are bullshit, but there aren't many movies that land the feeling of desperation as well in recent years. Nothing's wrong with enjoying it.

filtered.

So the moral of this thread is that being average gives you the most optimal life in regards of happiness?

Basically all the Nolan, Tarantino, Scorsese, early Fincher, Arronofsky, Kubrick, Burton, Malick flicks

>and anyone with a brain got bored with his style a long time ago

Why would that be?

When it comes to certain movies.
