>What is The Last Drive-In? The Last Drive-In is a double feature of horror flicks hosted by the worlds first and foremost drive-in movie critic Joe Bob Briggs.
>Who is Joe Bob Briggs? Joe Bob Briggs is a redneck movie critic and horror host from Texas, famous for shows such as "Joe Bob's Drive-In Theater" and "Monstervision". After 18 years of absence, he finally returned in 2018 for his revival series "The Last Drive-In".
>Where can I watch The Last Drive-In? On Shudder's livestream channel "It Came From Shudder". shudder.com/shudder-tv
I highly recommend them, I think if I ever got another I might name him Joe Bob. Just keep in mind, they'll need large enclosures and unless you're breeding them yourself, you'll be spending quite a bit of money on roaches/crickets to feed them.
Gabriel Ortiz
I was supposed in Mississippi visiting family this weekend and would have been 20 minutes from this. But said family had to go out of town short notice.
What am I missing? I really want to see "How Rednecks Saved Hollywood" sometime.
I'd definitely just breed my own dubia roaches making sure they eat stuff like organic sweet potatos and oranges and give the beardie those and occasional fresh greens and fruit.
Hunter Moore
I hope at some point he does the famous double feature of "I Drink Your Blood" and "I Eat Your Skin".
Dylan Wright
Guesses for tonight's double feature.
Mine: 1. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes 2. Nightmare Sisters
Chase White
Deep Red and The House By The Cemetery
Jaxson Robinson
One of them is supposed to be more recent.
I think it's Mandy and The Fly
Daniel Collins
Have any clues been given that would lead you to these films?
Jason Bell
Nope. Other than Q: The Winged Serpent last week, Joe Bob and crew never give away what the movies are going to be.
Nathan Lopez
I hope it's The Void as the more recent movie, I'm actually one of the few people who doesn't like Cronenberg movies very much, so I hope it's not The Fly.
this is the most bizarre shit. i literally just got into mississippi to visit family and i'm less than 20 minutes from this and had no idea it was happening until i saw your post. thanks user, i think i'm going to try and see this.
Henry Cruz
>Mandy I'd like to see it on TLDI. I've started it several times but never made it more than half-way through.
>The Fly One of my favorites. I'd love to see what JBB has to say about it.
I like The Void but I think Netflix has the rights to it right now. I don't know if Shudder could secure the movie.
Nathan Murphy
I've got to finish my afternoon shunt and I'll be ready for the _____
Adam Flores
I was also thinking The Fly but I’m thinking something out there like Ichi The Killer for the second movie.
Samuel Clark
He said the other day that the first was foreign and recent, and an homage to American horror. And the second is something even Academy snobs liked. So people were guessing 3 Women is the second.
Adam Richardson
No problem. Please report back next week and let us know how it went. Also, I'm extremely jelly. He's definitely going to be doing something special for the Mississippi showing.
Leo Taylor
Just found out about Joe Bob Briggs and watched an old broadcast of Monster Vision last night. Glad to see he is still working.
Nathan Robinson
will do. i am beyond shocked to find something i'm excited about seeing in mississippi of all places.
Adam Moore
Last Drive In is practically just a MonsterVision reboot with the same set and everything
Lincoln Ortiz
>He said the other day that the first was foreign and recent, and an homage to American horror. Definitely going to be Japanese or possibly Korean. I remember him saying in an interview that he asked a J-Horror director about the genre. The director said he was a big fan of American horror and his movies were a homage to them. Joe Bob asked him, "What, did you watch them in reverse or something?"
Leo Robinson
The Void is on Shudder rn
Aaron Reyes
This Except Joe Bob doesn't have to deal with network censors on Shudder which he had a huge problem with at TMC and TNT. He can show the films uncensored.
Welcome, user. You're in for a treat.
Carter Collins
Ah, I stand corrected. It would be cool to see him show it in that case.
Hunter Hill
I like the idea of him doing something more recent. So far he’s done movies that are mostly been around for a long time and I would love to see his thoughts on something more recent.
Isaiah Diaz
As usual If you don't have shudder, or you can.t get it from your country, we're streaming it live, chat and all brettygood dot com
Jeremiah Stewart
You guys doing GoT Sunday?
Anthony Adams
Yeah, god help us
Kevin Sullivan
Does this start in 3 minutes or 63 minutes?
Bentley Smith
I hope Joe Bob can do this for at least 5 more years.
Kayden Gutierrez
Thank you, sir. I'll be there.
Bentley Jones
Two minutes and 20 seconds
Jeremiah Rivera
Three. Hit refresh
David Garcia
The theme song of TLDI is unironically kino and wholesome in a way
Carson Bell
Get hype
Nolan Watson
Hey Travis Crabtree Wait a minute for me
Gavin Carter
I don't see why he won't. After an 18 year hiatus, he's doing all kinds of tours and really seems to want to keep himself busy these days.
Also, this show is the biggest thing going on Shudder right now. I'm pretty sure they treat him like royalty.
Blake Roberts
>Also, this show is the biggest thing going on Shudder right now. I'm pretty sure they treat him like royalty. It got me to give them my money. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Colton Garcia
Yep. Subbed and cancelled with each special prior to him getting his own series.
Carter Cooper
They had an insane amount of suscribers sign up when he did his first marathon. So many, they broke the servers.
Gavin Anderson
i got it just for the last drive in. didn't know i could just watch the livestream
Matthew Sullivan
You're not. I did the same. It's the only streaming service I pay for.
Charles King
> >shudd>Where can I watch er That's no help. They wan't money to watch that stream.
>Not 10 minutes in and Ernie has already lost his hat.
Jaxon Harris
>sociology majors who binge watch cartoon network series with their vegetarian girlfriends
Cameron Reed
Deathgasm is fun. I wonder if Joe Bob is gonna like it, or if he's gonna shit on it. He doesn't seem to be much into the modern movie homage thing to old horror.
Joseph Barnes
how come i can't see it? it's playing some boring ass movie right now
Ayden Flores
Yea Forums blown the fuck out.
Dylan Taylor
His descriptions of tesla owners seem pretty accurate.
Charles Harris
Will Christchurch get a joke tonight?
Lincoln Lewis
He wouldn't show it if he didn't like it. The only show, he hatewatched was C.H.U.D. and that's only because he had so much demand for it and his 32 year old producer insisted.
There is nothing more that I look forward to than Joe Bob's opening rants. I know he's not Avant Garde enough for snobs to love him, but he deserves some award for his writing.
Didn't know how I felt about it at first, but the decapitation scene sold me on this movie
Camden Gomez
>Didn't know how I felt about it at first, but the decapitation scene sold me on this movie
You have to whole-hardheartedly believe in the power of metal and the film will blow your soul
Charles Evans
>teleports behind you
Jackson Rivera
the fat kid gets the Peter Criss makeup lmao
Noah Lee
Can't go wrong with a good old fashioned Call of the Winter Moon

Next film ?
Trick or Treat (also known as Ragman and Death at 33 RPM in foreign markets) is a 1986 American supernatural horror film by De Laurentiis Entertainment Group, starring Marc Price and Tony Fields, with special appearances by Gene Simmons and Ozzy Osbourne. The film centers around a teenager who is haunted by the ghost of his rock hero.
Anyone see that old Joe Bob/Elvira crossover someone dug up and posted on Facebook?
Evan Green
I'm not a huge fan of the app. It's badly coded and the only way I've found to even try to see what they have is to stumble on the box to browse all movies and even then it is sorted by the most recent release.
Jaxon Brown
is he more kino than Svengoolie?
Camden Turner
Adding that they only show maybe 10 20 tops titles before they need to buffer and load the next crop of movies.
Elijah Young
>used to read Joe Bob's movie reviews when he wrote for the paper in Dallas. >he got in trouble back then also >every now and then he'd give a shout out to someone who wrote in to bitch about him being crude He's a national treasure. Texas Monthly is a trash Austin rag owned and operated by west coast faggots, though.
I actually think this movie is really interesting so far
Colton Williams
It’s pretty gud. It’s a history of the Scots Irish all the way back to John Knox, then it traces the role of the hillbilly genre, the one genre everybody likes but is embarrassed to.
Elijah Harris
This is a terrible companion film for Deathgasm
Caleb Sanders
>>he got in trouble back then also You aren't kidding.
Thanks, friend. I may just make the 10 hour drive back to my hometown just to see this. That sounds awesome tbqh
John Wilson
They're both based. Joe Bob very clearly is more knowledgeable but has the Norm dry humor and timing. Sven is better with the quick dad joke and likes playing the role of a clown.
Robert Evans
Why would you ever want to live by yourself in a house that big?
Nathan Carter
Dig up some of those articles, they're comedy gold. Those days are long gone, you'll never ever see anything like that in a big paper ever again.
this book was my bible back in the 90s it got me to watch Bloodsucking Freaks, Cannibal Ferox, Basket Case, Screwballs, etc, and it's hilarious on top of it between this, the Psychotronic books, and maybe Eros In Hell/Tokyoscope, you don't need anything else
I'm pretty buzzed, watching this movie with minecraft rap parodies in the background and it's the funniest shit possible
Elijah Bell
Why is the realtors mom there?
Adrian Turner
That stairwell scene with the look she gives is so well done.
Justin Collins
ID is one of the only things worth watching on cable
Leo James
Give the wheelchair the shunt
Bentley Young
I tried watching this boomer once and it was pure cringe. Not entertaining in the slightest. Americans have no sense of humour. I'm also saging this shit thread. Suck my hairy ass, niggers.
Parker Gray
That weirdly rings true. Through her Mercedes and riding they establish the realtor as a woman of inherited wealth who keeps a charity historical society job for something to do. Single women of that type who reach a certain age hang out with their moms. A lot.
Ayden Reyes
i'll fuck you in the ass kid
Jackson Bennett
Cringe and bluepilled
Jayden Morales
This would have been a good double feature with something like The Shining
Joshua Brown
>can't enjoy fully because of crippling depression
I would think them being disabled makes it more likely they kept a diary. Not like he could just hide in his room watching tv.
Blake Lee
This would have been a good double feature with Hardcore
Julian Bailey
Does Darcy think The Changeling is fun?
Zachary Gonzalez
I still can't decide who was the worst mail girl, Darcy or Reno.
Charles Peterson
trying to enjoy The Changeling on Bretty Good but this bigmeme4u guy cheaps desperately drunk posting about how much cheap light beer and fat chicks he's boned.
Nathan Ward
Darcy isn't bad
Joseph Walker
Yeah that's about why I don't join those chats or discord. There's always desperatre attention whores.
This part is dumb, it's just a chair. Better than CGI ghost face jumpscaring the camera I guess but really who gets chased by a dusty chair.
Mason Perry
Ghost wheelchairs are kino
Isaac Sullivan
Do they really burn a house in this? Seems pretty authentic.
Mason Perez
The house was haunted and they needed to burn it down
Andrew Edwards
Bernie Sanders had a rough life
Chase Baker
she looks like she fucks black men and mike matei
Nathan Wilson
the symbolism of baptism of death of the old life and rebirth ... except the kid actually died ... was murdered! ... the medal ... metal ... alchemy .... gold medal! The man killed the weak son and transformed his son into the golden son ... son/sun ... hmm
Nathan Russell
If any object in my house started chasing me I would flip out.
Anthony Reyes
Solid flick, 8/10. Liked it more than Deathgasm.
Leo Thompson
What are the chances Joe Bob has given her a porking?
Angel Campbell
The only Staten Island movie I know off the top of my head is Cropsey which would be an interesting choice for last drive in
Xavier White
Darcy accepts hipsters
Joe Bob makes a suspenders joke
Christopher Jenkins
oh hey it's the show Deathgasm ripped off
Julian Long
It would be boring and it's very suspect that it was faked.
Jace Collins
What about it is faked exactly?
Asher Hill
Good double feature, so far I'd say: Q/Society > Deathgasm/Changling > CHUD/Castle Freak
Jeremiah Long
Yeah but only because CHUD is boring, Castle Freak is my favorite of the 6
Thomas White
They *just* so happened to find a body on the last day they were looking after, what, 20 years?
Liam Walker
I think you might need to watch it again.
Gabriel Wilson
I wish there were more wholesome/fun threads like this instead of political threads about Star Wars and Marvel
Eli Cook
Well I think we hit the end of the night. This show looks terrible.
Time to watch a Zatoichi movie and go to bed.
Luke Reed
participate in these threads and ignore the other ones
Jack Scott
I loved Q. Please come get me past the no singles policy so I can watch King of the Monsters
