Each movie takes place at different times.

First movie takes place in 1995 during the Odaiba terrorist incident. Was mentioned during Vamdemon arc and expanded on when Homeostasis appears in the Pinocchimon arc. Was released before 01 started.

Second movie takes place less than a year after Season 1 ends, in spring-early summer 2000. This is where the majority of international chosen children get chosen, including Yolei/Miyako and Ken.

Third movie takes place in late-summer 2002, after the 02 cast defeats Digimon Kaiser but before V-mon evolves.

And no, the prior gen didn't get their own movie, but they were featured in Tri. Tri's fourth film starts out with the prior gen. Two of the five original children are recurring characters in Tri. One is a semi-antagonist, and the other was a supporting protagonist who inspires Taichi's dream.
