Anyone else feel like there are way too many prescription drug commercials now?

Anyone else feel like there are way too many prescription drug commercials now?

>convince boomers that their problems can be solved with copious amounts of medication
>"hey that sounds good! i'm gonna ask my doctors for that tv drug"
>$700 per month prescription

there will be even more the older we get user

I do wonder how they'll appeal to millenials/zoomers in 40 years, the ones for gen xers and literal boomer just show them playing with their grandkids and visiting old friends or building birdhouses

Hasn't Trump suggested that they be made to put the prices for the drugs in their commercials?

>can be solved with copious amounts of medication
the reading of the side effects in these commercials could be adapted to a horror film

I don't know if trump had suggested that but it should absolutely happen. it's extremely predatory and doctors typically go out of their way to avoid prescribing these drugs

>may result in death
Thanks doc.

>Something is ailing person.
>"That's when my doctor recommend me Habitformital"
>Slow motion happy outdoor activities while uplifting music plays.
>"May cause constipation, heart palpations, anxiety, twitching, sleep walking, stroke, or even death."

Fucking sad the timeline we're in.

>they push all these bullshit meds with loads of side effects on people
>using the stuff that might actually help people is a criminal offense

are you talking about DUDE?
because I agree.

So which is the bigger scam - meds that may fuck you up or homeopathic meme shit?

the United States healthcare system

The only problem with weed is that it can really impair you, so driving or operating machinery is a no go, but these prescription drugs can impair you just as badly, so. It'll get legalized at some point anyway, but they'll just make sure you don't drive or try to work on a loading dock or some shit.

Well, there's that, and there's also LSD that can be a life-changing experience and has a very low chance of negative side effects. And some say a single MDMA experience with your spouse is better than a year of marriage therapy.

Keep kratom legal

It truly is nature’s best thing

Mutts are retards, that's clear for everyone, but we have the same problems with memedications in Europe and I'm sure the situation is similar all around the world.

Kek, it's all going to be tranny HRT shit

I think the USA is one of only two countries that allows drug companies to advertise directly to the public. This of course is what they wanted since it encourages over prescription and increases profits at the expense of peoples heath and finances.

>contact your doctor if you're mentally ill, want to cut your dick off, and want to grow tits

they won't live long enough for those commercials to be applicable

the one that has the music of that 'Magic' song is my favorite, corny af

I bet someone thought they were so clever with that one.

>I do wonder how they'll appeal to millenials/zoomers in 40 years

Something like 25% of women under 40 are on some kind of antidepressant, it won't be a struggle given how neurotic millenials and zoomers are.

>its time to take control of your diabetes!
>[may cause genital gangrene or infection]

How is this shit not regulated in the US? They an advertise prescription drugs on tv, that's fucking insane.

Nah even here it sometimes feels like you'd be better off going to a fucking witch doctor.

unregulated late stage capitalism
we're in for some interesting times

Imagine her crawling on all fours in lingerie and garter belt

>mfw taking control of my diabeetus costs $2000+ a month without insurance

>american laws ever regulating (((big business)))

As long as it's not weed.

This is where retarded anti-government paranoia leads.

>every commercial is just listing a variety of possible side effects while people leisurely stroll through a park

i'm on lyrica/pregabalin. it's a huge help for my social anxiety

>may cause insomnia , sweating , suicidal thinking or unexpected death.

very lynchian

>now

True, but they're getting more and more common, even to the point where there are two in a row.

my friend who has epsilepsy gave me some of his and even 100mg made me feel like i was drunk af and made me throw up how can he take 600mg a day and still work as a coder , he's much smaller than me too

Tolerance is a hell of a drug.
