So, EU material is back, I guess?
So, EU material is back, I guess?
Ahhhh, I remember back in the day when they decanonized the EU, and all the Disney kikes were saying how much better a universe Disney would make; how it would be structured better, there'd be no retcons or issues with different Star Wars media. No shitty stories anymore like Crystal Star or Dark Empire. No time travel shit. No stepping on the OT legacy. No killing off of OT cast.
And yet, all the shit that those faggots bitched about in 2014 have been done by Disney. And where are they now?
what the fuck is that
>young red-haired Sheev
muh dick
Expanded universes, regardless of franchise, are always a mistake.
>Corran Horn fucked a female one of those
I wanna reread the Yuuzhan Vong series sometime because I barely remember shit about it
In the meantime, recommend me EU novels that are as great as the Thrawn ones
Not only did they repeat all the mistakes, all the stories you could call ok were also done by the EU and better. The Dark Empire will be no different, I am sure.
>I wanna reread the Yuuzhan Vong series
There's like almost twenty of them, and 90% of them are complete trash.
Gotta do it, sorry
>that dialogue
lmfao
You can write that shit, but you sure can't say it.
The only person you ought to feel sorry for is yourself.
Say what you will about the plot but the art and colorization for the Dark Empire comics was fucking kino.
Eeeeh that doesn't really work dude. Sure it looks like a halfway witty reversal to what I said, but when I said sorry I wasn't feeling sorry "for" anyone
Dark Empire. The Emperor comes back in a young clone body. Luke turns to the dark side but comes back and defeats him.
Star by Star was great.
Uh, ok.
Be sure to get checked for autism, my man.
Too bad Veitch ate half his crayons
Props for managing them at all. The only Star Wars book I can get through at all is Darth Plagueis and the whole beginning with the pirate crew was such a chore with no purpose.
I like to interpret Dark Empire as a bad fever dream, especially because of the colors and sometimes unfinished qualities of the drawings. It might be stupid but it is still so interesting to see Star Wars mashed with that edgy grim dark punk Dune aesthetic.
It also feels more like a continuation of the Marvel comics from the 80s rather than the movies only.
