Nobody has ever said that, lord of war isn't even one of his best you abbo fag
I liked his Noir Spiderman
Face/Off, enough said
Leaving Las Vegas is true cimema
But this movie is retarded and only considered good by 14 year olds that just realized weapons are big business.
t. Liberian dictator
He has never "made" a movie, he's appeared in some good ones though. Can't beat the rock
youtube.com
For me it's Face/Off
>what is Adaptation
I will never forgive Yea Forums for telling me pic related was shit.
Absolute kino with Nic, Joker, and Gabagool Man.
Based taste, lads.
Drive Angry was pretty fun
This
Everyone always forgets about Snake Eyes. Perfect role for Nick, great detective thriller movie wrapped in an action flick, bitter sweet ending.
It's pretty unbelievable this movie got made. Nic Cage was at the height of his carrier, with a fantastic supporting cast starring in a movie about snuff films, rape and corrupt rich people working in the media business.
Joel Schumaker had previously made the lighthearted Batman & Robin before this, and Phoenix went on to star in Gladiator after this.
Hating Nic Cage is r*ddit cringe
>I'm gonna show you god does exist
only uneducated plebs think nic cage never made a bad movie. leaving las vegas, lord of war, faceoff are all pretty good movies
for me, it's Bad Lieutenant
Indiana Kino.
Shame we'll never get a sequel to the meh second film.
i don't get the hate for this movie
cage firing on all cylinders, dat opening sequence, comfy setting and plot, good supporting cast
Around 20 years ago my local cinema put on a double feature, Con Air & Face Off
I haven't had a better cinema experience since
this scene is an instant boner for me
can't hate him although he hasn't been in a good movie for years. he's authentic and a geniounely a good actor. He started in the first movie i ever seen in a theater. The Rock
Underrated kino coming through.
-vie, only kino
-jito
This.
>His soul is still dancing, shoot him again
ngl this was probably my favourite movie for 2018
This one's great in my opinion, never understood why so many people don't like Kaufman
con air is kino
That sucked
It's my least favourite Kaufman movie but I still fucking love it.
>people actually have this opinion
>He has never "made" a movie
He made Sonny, it stars James Franco
His own capeshit has quite a few good kino moments too.
he's kino incarnate.
One of the few personalities in that cess pit deserving of the title 'celebrity'.
cage's a great actor, it's just that his style of performing has fallen out of vogue. people today have convinced themselves that empty, feeble shit like amy adams is 'good acting'
Con Air is the last of the great 80s/90s action films along with Starship Troopers before Independence Day ruined the genre, acting as a catalyst for the MCU
Pure unfiltered kino,
10/10
Nobody mentioned Raising Arizona. You make me sad.
i personally think that the bourne identity is almost single-handedly responsible for ruining action cinema, or at least shifting it in a radically different direction
First half is absolute snoozefest
This. Especially the motel scene and the Devil's agent
Patrician choice.
First half is the pleb filter.
Between 1995 and 1997 Nic Cage was in Leaving Las Vegas, The Rock, Con Air, and Face/Off. Was this his golden age? He's been in like 100 movies
Absolutely patrician
fpbp
fucking loved it
I love cage. I still watch all his shitty B movies.
This is unironically more entertaining than the original.
unironically better version of die hard
best choreography
you should stop spending so much time on reddit Yea Forums love Nic Cage
Amazing movie
I dont like when Kaufman self inserts himself.
this. cage has made plenty of kino
explain. very interested in this comment
underrated? probably one of his best known films. love this movie
>vie
June 1997 specifically was absolute peak Nicholas Cage, since Con Air and Face/Off both came out during that month
/thread
it did away with spectacle and battles to make way for a more realistic, hands-on approach.
literally all of his movies are about him
This, he just makes equal amounts of shit movies to pay off his taxes
I'm inclined to agree. Tried to watch the first one three times, always slept before 45min mark

I'm pretty sure I remember Cage saying this was the most challenging film he's ever done as well, in reference to the main gimmick of the movie.
