Nope, they tried mashing 6 comic storylines together and it's a fucking mess, Hellboy is fine but the makeup really stifles any attempt of a performance, Bruttenholm is completely fucking butchered into le funny old man says f word meme, Monaghan and Daimio are barely focused on and when they are they're virtually completely different characters, they just slap a bunch of random BPRD characters into the mix in hopes of making comicfags go "OMG I RECOGNISE THEM :OOOOOOO" like Lobster Johnson who's completely wasted

And then if you aren't a comicfag and just wanna compare this to GDT's movies, the lack of practical effects is really fucking obvious because the CG is fucking dire like 90% of the time, the R rated feels so forced because it's only used to add more F bombs and CG gore to the 3rd act (90% of the blood is CG in this anyway), the best performance comes from Milla Jovovich, the score is fucking abysmal dadcore metal
