what happen?
Everything
Good
The entertainment companies are creating their own streaming services and leaving Netflix.
We're all still watching Witcher right Cavillbros?
Where will I get my blackino now
They're doing just fine. Their original content is massively successful.
Disney+ to be released in Nov. and will cost 6.99
Paranoid execs on suicide watch
>all this content for seven buckaroos
>ALL Star Wars films
No original cut, no deal.
Would people want to pay 10 different services ~$10 every month though.
They wouldn't hence you can spit on Netflix's grave already.
S
No, they'd just pay for the one or two that interest them the most.
nah. With all of these stupid fucks fracturing off and separating services, this shit would cost me just as much as cable. Fuck all that noise, just gonna get me a paid vpn and get anything I want
Netflix just raised their price for new subscribers and their stock rocketed, they'll be fine
Plus Apple's coming. And yeah Disney says $7, but there's LITERALLY nothing stopping them from casually raising the price as high as they want. It's low to entice everyone to sign up, whereas everyone would be "OH NO NO NO"ing if the initial price was like $14.99.
As much as I hate Netflix I hate Disney more.
They need more than that
>disney voluntarily gathered their garbage and paywalled it
based disney keeping their filth contained and away from me
>Pixar
>Disney vault
>Disney Channel
I'm not 6 years old so I don't see how this is meant to be an incentive.
>18 Pixar films
I bet WALL-E isn't one of them.
Classic Simpsons alone piqued my interest.
every 20-something year old girl will buy it though
If you have a cable provider there's always simpsonsworld.com
The mouse has come to claim what is his
>mfw Yea Forums is now happy to get cucked even harder than before.
This
This
Not if BLACKED slash their prices thou.
I mean that's what netflix did, I started out paying about 5 bucks a month, then they started raising it like a dollar at a time and now it's fucking 13 plus tax.
>seven dollars a month for shit
>Not pirating to watch only what you want to watch.
time to rev up those torrents
>100 DCOMS
Some of those older ones were kino
all this content is free right now with the click of a button and a 2~5 min wait time for each
Turns out Netflix's lobbying for net neutrality hides its own inability to fight in a free market
>tfw your company actually has to innovate
>Netflix = Steam
>Disney = Epic Game Store
>Yea Forums = Ebin Gaymers Rising Up
But seriously, who cares just steal it from the interwebs if you need to watch your gay capeshit and your gay cartoon for little kids.
>>Disney = Epic Game Store
As if Disney's run by the Chinese...
>mfw Disney+ will use those awful blu ray transfers of their old movies
Why don't they put the effort into them at all?
You'd think for a company so keen on preserving and protecting its history/copyrights they'd do a better job with this shit.
>free market
Enjoy getting gangbanged by literally every single garbage streaming service, bootlicking faggot.
why do you talk like somebody who moderates 3 subreddits and says stuff like "edit: thnaks for the gild" on a daily basis?
No, in fact, piracy is rising because of all the countless services that you need to be subscribed to.
motherboard.vice.com
It's the same shit happening in PC.
People like being only on Steam because having everything in one platform is convenient, needing 50 of them to do the same shit pushes people to the second most convenient way of consuming media: pirating.
When was the last time you even watched anything on Netflix? I browse around a few times a week and then close it because there's nothing. Don't know why I even subscribe.
This is great in my opinion, since Netflix has been shitting the bed for years now. They were the pioneer, but they've abused their power so much that they deserve to be dethroned. Throwing so much Netflix original bullshit at us constantly, blatantly favoring their own stuff in their various lists and recommendations, bombarding you with ads for their original shit even when you're already using their service. I mean seriously, how much of an asshole do you have to be to advertise your own service to people who are currently already paying to use it?
Amazon prime's various channel subscriptions are a great idea, there just aren't enough of them and the selections are mostly shit right now, so if that's the direction streaming services are going I say all the better.
>youtube.tv for sports
>torrents for everything else (including other sports)
vroom vroom nigga
I'm tired of being a cucksumer, i'm going back to pirating everything.
why
every single netflix show is terrible, every netflix movie is trash and 90% of their content is written by and for 85 IQ liberal millennial women
Wow a bunch of shit I'll never watch anyways
>30 seasons of the Simpsons when you only need the first 8
>MCU trash
i torrent everything. games, movies, tv shows, music.
think ive only received one warning from my isp years ago. cant even begin to imagine how much it'd cost me if i hadnt torrented all that shit.
But Disney can do this A LOT faster than Netflix and dangle the "CAN'T WATCH ANYWHERE ELSE ON THE NET" keys in front of consumers, meaning they won't leave.
what he mean by this?
>People like being only on Steam because having everything in one platform is convenient
It's convenient because they've already built up a large collection of games there. Streaming isn't the same, you don't own anything.
This. It's time for them to die the death they that deserve.
>pixar
seen every one
>star wars
seen every one
>disney vault
oldfag who had a decent childhood, seen every single one
>MCU
seen them all
>simpsons, natgeo, mandolorean
cool, 3 shows
so what do I watch the second month? I'm not knocking it, but why the fuck is everyone considering this some sort of Netflix killer? It's an additional service at best.
I would to but 1 more torrent and att is stomping my shit. Can't risk it and don't how to use a VPN.
post your tracker stats
DL: 1.06 TB UL: 2.57 TB Ratio:2.424
Imagine paying a single red cent for media in the golden age of piracy
>buh buh buh muh convenience
No you're still a cuck
But they only have the programming that they own. Netflix's advantage has always been the vast array of movies and shows they have available. Disney will have The MCU and Disney/Pixar movies and that's pretty much it. It will be much easier for people to do without such a small, specialized catalogue of content.
Looking forward to watching The Simpsons. There's one episode in particular I'm eager to see desperately, and the fee doesn't seem too extreme.
You underestimate how much value people place on Disney shit, not even talking SW or MCU added in, just pure Disney.
You do realize Disney just bought Fox right?
Shit I forgot about that, good point.
Is getting a Roku worth it?
I remember seeing a streaming site I like having an app on there (Toonami Aftermath) and wasn't sure how it worked.
Can somebody explain to me how the fuck a VPN actually works? I don't mean technically what it does, I know it assigns you a different IP address, I just have a hard time believing its actually possible that it makes it impossible to track it back to you. Like, sure, the VPN assigns you a temporary IP address that's different from your real one, but there has to still be a connection to your PC, right? It just freaks me out.
>every single netflix show is terrible
Mindhunter was decent. Season 2 is taking too long to release.
Plus how the fuck are VPNs even legal?
D
there will only be 5
disney/fox nbc, cbs, viacom, sony/colombia
If you are a boomer who can't into tech but who has a younger relative to set it up then a Roku can be good. Or if you watch a lot of Amazon Prime because the Roku interface is better. But no one watches Amazon Prime. Or if you have a lot of streaming subs you want in one place it's fine. Other devices do essentially the same thing though like a PS4.
A VPN is an encrypted tunnel that puts your IP packets into other IP packets to hide what's inside and where it's coming from. The owner of the VPN can still track everything you're doing and keep logs of it. You have to trust them when they say they don't log traffic. There are other ways to track you through a VPN like fingerprinting your device or through DNS leaks. It's not total anonymity. But it's good enough to hide you from companies monitoring torrent seeders.
You don't even own the games you bought on steam
Why wouldn't they be in a free country? In China I'm sure they'll ban them if they haven't already. Probably in the UK and Australia soon too since both of those countries are trying to filter the internet and they can't do it when VPNs exist.
>You don't even own the games you bought on steam
You pay for the convenience of being able to download them from Steam's servers every time your ssd/hard drive is full and you have to make space. The ability to remap controls, and redeem codes from keyseller sites, as well as linux support and game sale notification makes steam my preferred platform. If Steam goes under I'll pirate my library guilt free.
>Why wouldn't they be in a free country?
Obviously in a free country they should be perfectly legal, but the U.S. is getting less and less free all the time and there all kinds of shit that should be legal in a free country but isn't. I mean it's illegal to make your own liquor, it's illegal to sell things without a license, you need a license to carry a gun, to drive a vehicle, etc. It just seems crazy to me that VPNs are legal, given how un-free this country has become.
Literally who fucking cares the only thing there even semi considerate is the Mandalorian so welcome to Pirates Town, where people Pirate shit.
He's a retard that thinks having choices in a free market is evil.
wont someone think of adam sandler
dey tooker
HOLY SHIT you incel retards are laughably stupid. maybe parents with MONEY will want something to put on for their kids you smooth brains
>paying shekels
>not using a torrent/streaming we site
Good goys
>The owner of the VPN can still track everything you're doing and keep logs of it. You have to trust them when they say they don't log traffic.
What are the chances that at some point in the near future the FBI gets warrants for all VPN logs and prosecutes everybody who used them for illegal activities? Seems pretty likely to me, given the direction we've been going.
the 24/7 online presence of Disney shills is painful to read
Seeing "netflix original" next to a show title reduces my opinion of a show and preempts that it will be low quality college female level writing. I cant fathom how it could survive wholey on those shows alone.
I don't give a fuck about tv shows anymore. Watching retards on Yea Forums bait and tear themselves apart everyday is enough entertainment for me.
what a retarded comparison you are a retard go to the corner and reflect on your retardation
remember that the majority of the US government are old ass tenured boomers who couldn't even begin to wrap their minds around the concept of a VPN.
they're only legal because boomers are out of the loop
good luck finding them
It's happened already. Not all logs of all VPNS but specific ones. That's why it's important for VPN providers to not store logs. Can't have a warrant to search something that doesn't exist.
All VPNs use logs.
wow it's fucking nothing
Disney dabbed on these satanist feminists
>people pay for this when a 720p yify rips looks better than netflix "1080p"
>pay $16.99 for 4k steaming
>get SD quality sources
That's' what, a 10th of the content on netflix, maybe? Anyways, unless Song of the South is remastered and streamable, I have no interest in Disney's monopoly on capeshit. Let them have it. It's still shit.
west follows india
>bitrate: capped at 870kbps
>bitrate: 5252 kb/s
>1080p
That's not even enough bitrate for 720p, much more 1080p grainy content
>540p
>doesn't go higher
Which one?
>Be disney.
>Have thousands of hours of hard to find classic cartoons.
>Have thousands of hours 90s cartoons.
>Put virtually none of these on your channel.
>Put up all your trash tv movies that nobody wants to watch instead.
Are they expect the 18-30 market to get this solely for the cape shit and star wars or what? Because I already have all of that shit sitting in my harddrive and I'm sure that buy fags have them all sitting in their blueray rack.
>net neutrality
>hides free market
What is even this level of shill?
So the FBI is going to open several million cases of copywrite infringement and prosecute them all huh?
killing blow is gonna be when they start fetching small directors and producers in dif. cuntries like netflix does.
thewatchcartoononline.tv
you owe me 6 dollars
What tard wrote that shill manifest?
Why not? They'd make a shitload of money from all the fines
Source: ASS
Good VPNs dump their logs daily
You clearly don’t know how they work
Well... probably because if they wanted to investigate 25million+ people they would need to buy a bigger office block and they just finished decorating the last one. Also fining that many people will probably crash the economy.
>Good VPNs
like which ones?
Nord purges every 12/24 hours.
whats a DCOM?
>A bunch of pop trash and shit I've already seen
You'd have to pay me to sit through any of this junk
This is pretty underwhelming
Disney channel originals - basically a bunch of absolutely horrendous live action tv movies aimed at tweens that Disney started shitting starting in the 90s as filler content for their channel. You're never heard of any of them, because they're ALL terrible.
Here's a list anyway:
disney.fandom.com
Do they have anime?
Not sure but i think it is their shitty tv shows
15.99 a month is not that bad. Stop complaining and just pay up
people on Yea Forums that claim to hate the mouse but can't wait to pay 6.99 for capeshit with commercials
Loved that movie
>not fapping to Kim Possible
YIFY does better with much less A:10 V:10
There won’t be commercials you dumb fucking cunt
>STREAMKEKS ARE SO DUMB DUUURR DURRR
Yeah, good luck in 2019 to find reliable streaming/downloading links without being flooded by ads and porn ads every 2 seconds or everytime you click somewhere. Oh without the stream breaking up in the middle of the movie even with a good internet connection
As this is a Netflix production, I'm sure many are wondering: How far along into it before a white chick gets fucked by a black guy?
For the first half hour, this Mary Sue was all by her lonesome and I thought perhaps her virtue would remain in tact. When low and behold, a space capsule comes parachuting to Earth and out steps an honest to goodness, space nigger. He was blue gummed, yellow eyed, nostril flaring, lip smacking, talking monkey and he is up in this white bitches guts at the 37 minute mark.
>2019
>ads and popups
If WB makes a service like this where they role everything into one I would just get that and Disney and never look at anything else
that is literally nothing. Only 13 vault classics? no content from all the Disney/Miramax/Buena Vista stuff for the last 50 years? Nothing like ABC tv shows? Fox shows beyond Simpsons? This is a fucking joke
>he doesn't use uBlock Origin
>he doesn't just torrent things if he wants good quality for free
If you pay for a streaming service, you're a monglet
They are. But they plan on charging over 20$ for it
what if you could pay a flat monthly rate for a service that provides access to a bundle of all those different programs... we could call it something new, like "cable"
Probably with adds as well because WB is retarded
to be fair it does include HBO. That's already 15$ by itself.
so they only have Simpsons and capeshit. Wow. I have both already downloaded
How dense are you retard. He said HE wasn't interested, not who is the market for. Do some critical thinking next time nigger
S
Netflix is shit anyway the only good original content they’ve made of late was Hill House.
fucking veruca salt motherfucker get fucked
and even Hill House could've been better
because the mouse creates high iq productions like this, and totally non-political pandering art like The Last Jedi.
Fucking choke faggot.
What is it with modern leftists being invasive by hijacking entertainment like Movies, TV, and Video games, then making it all low quality?
0 upload because i can't be bothered to ask my provider to switch me to IPv4 and many trackers don't support ipv6 yet
What is it with right wingers never actually making anything in the entertainment industry?
You think I'm a right winger? I'm all for liberty and freedom. Leftists just want total control and restrict creativity. I want things to go neutral again instead of full propaganda.
Yes enjoy the freedom while you can. Once millennials get there they'll make sure you have no digital freedoms
Don't use private trackers but my torrent history since last reinstall...
96GB up
616GB down
actually surprised my up is that high. Must have left it running without realizing
People like you actually disgust me. Always seed unless you have a very legitimate reason not to.
ahahahahahahahahahahahahahah oh what a bargain!!!!!!!
fuck me you zoomer cucks need to die, thank god you are already at it economically
This is a masterpiece compared to Netflix trash. That should tell you something
My legitimate reason is: I’m a digital thief and nothing I’m doing is morally justifiable so fuck you, fuck every s(n)eeder, and fuck you again for good measure. I’m not going to gain karma for helping you so I’m keeping my bandwidth, thanks.
get a seedbox. You won't need a VPN. Feral is good for the price.
imagine being this arabic
Add
>Goof Troop
>Darkwing Duck
>Aladdin TAS
>Chip and Dale RR
>Gummi Bears
>Classic Ducktales
And then it will be better
>people unironically pirate old shows
9/10, buying your own copy guarantees you the best quality available without dealing with re-encodes
i'm good, thanks
someone set up us the bomb
I never paid in the first place
does anyone suck the cut cock of the mouse harder than Yea Forums?
This
stop lying. yes their will. also, iger said he's upping the cost to 10 dollars a month by the end of the years, and the only star wars movies they'll have are the nu-wars sequels. also, espn content cost extra.
who gives a shit if it comes back to you? if you aren't the distributor just pirate the shit you fucking pussy
the worst that will happen is you'll get a hard copy letter like 2 months after pirating the fucking thing lol
meant to quote
>trying to convince people not to pirate.
shilling doesn't work if people know your a shill.
DEY TOOK HAR
sooner or later the mouse comes for us all. all a man can do it is wait.
well i'm sorry to hear that
Gay
what, each of those companies is going to have a streaming service? No fucking way this is going to work.
VPN's are a meme.
I've been pirating for 13 years and have yet to see a single even mildly angry statement from my ISP.
why are you shilling on a board supposedly full of incels, if the target audience are parents?
b-but I can get everything in this list for 0$.
Based and Redpilled
>Throwing so much Netflix original bullshit at us constantly, blatantly favoring their own stuff in their various lists and recommendations,
Can you blame them, at the beggining companies let them have their content for cents, then they wanted a piece of the pie, had netflix not invested in their own content they would just be waiting to be cannibalized
Retard
ask the leftwing jewish gatekeepers who own the entertainment industry.
>What are the chances that at some point in the near future the FBI gets warrants for all VPN logs and prosecutes everybody who used them for illegal activities?
zero, because that is nigh impossible.
very stupid question, hope it's not from the same person. i'll not go into detail for the sake of my own sanity, but this question seems to infer that all cases the FBI comes across, let alone opens, would be probably successful. there is a reason the FBI is extremely selective with its prosecution.
>i should give money to americans
hahahaHAHAHA oh my hahaha no thanks guys think ill just steal your shit like you stole my fucking tea, pay your back taxes then we'll talk about 'piracy'
I'll be dead by then
>november
so fucking nothing then
>those awful blu ray transfers of their old movies
I am still furious about Sword In The Stone. Fucking Vasoline everywhere.
>free market
>bootlicking faggot
>colombia
kek
Netflix is the innovation. Everyone is copying them. It's just established bigger players can slit the throat of the newcomer.
>no new content
>still set to lose 5 bucks on every subscriptor
Yikes
2.595TB ul / 1.247TB dl but my actual ratio is like .1 at best, I just keep junk seeding for a long time and buy points to fluff my stats
In HD quality?
Netflix is set to pass Disney in market value and this streaming service only has shit everybody has already watched. Shill harder bby
Honestly this is not that impressive. Every animated movie AND every animated TV show they did? That would be great.
better quality than whatever shitty bitrate streamfags use
REEEEEEEEEEE
>paying for entertainment
Boomer here. I haven't paid for a movie, anime, game, book, or music in two decades. Haint about to start now.
Private tracker master race
BUT... BUT... I THOUGHT TV HATED THE MOUSE?!?!!
They do, that was a shill post
The Disney Channel has always existed and other channels were able to compete, so Netflix just needs to improve it’s content.
Competition is always good.
Bau mal lieber flott ne Pipe,
Keeper of the Light
Kill me, Pete
They do put effort into making their Blu-rays look fucking shitty, because they think that's what the retards who buy them want. They'll also never release the uncensored versions of Fantasia, Aladdin, or Make Mine Music (that one probably won't even be on the fucking service)
Netflix doesn't seem afraid though, they just raised the prices. I think they realize this disney trash doesn't have new content and it's just a bunch of stuff people have already seen so the moment Disney decides to stop bleeding money and raising the prices themselves it'll go under pretty quickly
Not tonight, Pete.
>7 fucking dollars
For now. Just wait till that price starts to rise.
>30 seasons of the sneedsons
>only about 7 are good
they already said they will open with 25 original shows and plan to make 50 each year.
How is netflix gonna answer to that? another feminist season of sabrina sue?
>they already said they will open with 25 original shows
Wow that's fucking nothing, netshit makes that many every month. What's up with this retarded disney shit? Is it a tax scam or what? It's like its made to lose money on purpose
All hail resurgence of piracy.
As if net neutrality has anything to do with content. Disney might have something to do with net neutrality, they might partially own ISP's through cable tv-companies. They might throttle down client connections to competing streaming services.
Disney would be EA/Activision/MS/Ubisoft in regards to online game distribution platform comparison. Disney has massive amounts of their own 1st party content, especially after FOX purchase. Disney owns lot more than just capeshit and kids cartoons. They own massive amount of traditional TV-channels that produce content to all cover virtually all niches, from documentaries to sports to fucking everything.
Sounds like you need to get better at the internet.
>disney trash doesn't have new content
get a load of this retard who didnt read the investors report
>a new stah wahs show and also a Agents of Shield tier marlel one with MCU cameos bros!!!
Yep it's DOA
"Netflix Original" has become synonymous with "shit."
IP =/ a person, sites useless
It doesn't matter if you don't like them, a lot of people do, and continue to get excited about them.
That's literally shit. Nothing original and something everyone's seen. Also their streaming service is going to be mostly centred around kids. Not going to be any adult tv shows higher than 16 rated.
Netflix releases 3 new shows a day on average.
I got static IP
Cry more poltard.
no where did i say the content was good or even a wise decision. They will, however, have better OC, more star power & extremely better production then any Netflix show. Face it, the mouse is coming for Theaters next
obsessed
Supreme court has already ruled, doesnt matter
Would all Disney Channel TV shows and Movies as well like Lizzie Macguire, High School Musical, and all their classic kid shows go on the service? If it did there would literally be a lifetimes of shows kids could watch from all eras. Put That's So Raven and Hannah Montana on it for MAX $.
How many of you use now tv? £8 a month ain't terrible for what you get. Plus new game of thrones.
>Nothing original and something everyone's seen.
Disney will on long run have two options. Either unload their share of Hulu to ABC, NBC-Universal and Warner Brothers or buy 'em out and merge it with Disney+. Disney owns fucking Fox now. That comes with massive film and television back catalog. Lots of new shows that can be released in some combination of streaming service and broadcast.
>Also their streaming service is going to be mostly centred around kids. Not going to be any adult tv shows higher than 16 rated.
Disney owns media that isn't capeshit or kids cartoons. They own massive amount of non-kids shows. To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if they were major actor in porn at this point. They might do some tricks with branding keep their core brand family focused.
The main reason why Disney is seen as major competitor for Netflix and potential Netflix killer is because Disney as company now has own first party catalog that covers everything. They can offer something to everyone and one stop service to families that offers everyone something from kids to grandparents. Anything from documentaries, classic movies to capeshit and kids shows.
Those digits are all I need
Bruh look at this dood
No insiders are saying they want the streaming service to centre around kids and won't be releasing adult tv/film on it. And if they do it'll be separate
because now...
There is a good chance they will sell both services as package if they go with two separate services. They will absolutely use same server hardware and client software. Buy one service, get "discount" on other as incentive to clients to subscribe to both. No need to subscribe to non-Disney services as they have enough of their own content cover all bases.
Disney is in position where it can cooperate with other studios and tv-channels, but they really don't have to.
Can I watch Cory in the big house on it
>muh moobies
Literally everyone saw all of this except the originals that are going to suck dick like every MCU TV show.
Younger people spend 3/4 of their time on youtube and social media or playing games they don't really care about movies much.
All of those streaming services appearing only means piracy is coming back. Nobody is going to pay 5+ services. Some people will keep Netflix for originals, some parents will get Disney+ for their kids but that's it.
Netflix became so big because it was convenient to have all this shit in one place. Content spreading to a bunch of platform only means people will go back to piracy.
>30 seasons of the Simpsons
too bad not even half of those are even good
Zenon was a qt
tbf, if the first 13 are in 1080p, thats a godsend. We never would get that from FOX
Damn only 7 dollars?
So I can watch uh.... Star Wars and a bunch of kids cartoons?
Wow great I'm sure I'll never get tired of that!
Why the hell would you watch that show written by literal soiboys.
>like, hehe, why CAN'T a show based on a Slavic book series have a BLACK man as the lead? Like, white people should always and forever prioritize blacks??
Back catalog means shit, literal dead weight. They need popular meme shows and they have zero (0).
fpbp
Why do you think Disney+ will be different?
Keep telling yourself that
>The main reason why Disney is seen as major competitor for Netflix and potential Netflix killer is because Disney as company now has own first party catalog that covers everything. They can offer something to everyone and one stop service to families that offers everyone something from kids to grandparents. Anything from documentaries, classic movies to capeshit and kids shows.
But they won't, because Disney+ is aimed at family audiences only.
MAYBE a combo of Disney+, Hulu and ESPN can kill Netflix, but a single streaming service can't.
Disney is so scared of losing their family-friendly image they are putting the adult content on Hulu.
This would be like if Netflix put their kiddy content on a separated service with a different name.
This isn't a good thing, you need a single and easy recognizable property/name to own the market. This is why Netflix is so successful.
prepare yourself because it's going to happen, the mouse wills it
kek nice to see an oldfag
I’m conflicted. On the one hand, Netflix is utter garbage now, but on the other hand I still don’t forgive Disney for what they did to Star Wars. Is it possible that they destroy each other somehow?
Main screen turn on
>literally the only good thing there are the first 10 seasons and the 5th episode of the 11th season of the Simpsons
What a fucking scam.
Is this a joke
This is old marxist tactic to control culture
Kill me Pete
Actually, the rise of so many streaming services is causing a resurgence in piracy.
motherboard.vice.com
So you can bundle Hulu and Disney+
That's fine as long as you can bundle the ad-free version as well. If you're only limited to bundling ad-supported Hulu, that's gonna be a no-go for me
Jesus that looks awful
I'm not going to cry over Netflix I honestly hope Apple, Netflix and Disney all get fucked over.
go back to Africa you ape
Why would people cancel Netflix?
absolutely nothing, but they are in a large amount of debt that they miraculously have to start paying off at some point
What you say?
Makes me wonder if their Marvel movies will be censored.
250+ hours of NatGeo. My interest is piqued.
This tbqh famalam
youtube.com
This shit is retarded, the good principle behind Netflix was being able to find everything in the one place. Now it's being split up again so like cable tv you will have to pay for several subscriptions to watch a few good shows while the rest is dogshit you don't want.
The real question is why didn't these retard companies come up with the idea sooner?
Makes sense. Nobody wants to sign to 10 different streaming services.
They are already paying it off, thanks to DRUMPFGHFG'OR and his negative interest rate debt pays itself
Classic movies and shows may not have massive amount of viewers at any particular time, but over long run the big classics will continue make a fuck ton of money. Even movies and shows that aren't classics, but just cult classics and have few fans still around will generate profit. When it comes to random old tv-shows and movies that didn't have major impact, there is also occasional bored watchers that will watch something random. So those being available doesn't hurt either.
There is a reason why certain older movies and TV-shows gets to be ones that are shown over and over again on TV and gets full re-runs after decades. Owning the well established IP's also means rights to do reboots, remakes and spinoffs.
Kids service is paid by their parents. When they subscribe to Disney+ there might be a link or just check box to also subscribe Hulu/ESPN. Client software will be identical, just with separate icons on tv menu and computer desktop. Same goes to technical aspects on server side.
are they actually paying it off? so the debt isn't actually increasing anymore? i haven't looked at the quarterly earnings in a while
t. actual investor jew
im kind of curious why they dont do this lol
It really is though, in practice. I quit pirating shit when Netflix came out with their streaming service. Now that there's going to be a hundred different streaming services with their own separate rates I've gone back to pirating. When it comes to media consumption convenience is king.
>Kids service is paid by their parents. When they subscribe to Disney+ there might be a link or just check box to also subscribe Hulu/ESPN. Client software will be identical, just with separate icons on tv menu and computer desktop. Same goes to technical aspects on server side.
But why would they sign Hulu when Netflix has more content for a lower price?
I just watched The Silence, wtf was that? Netflix is simply copying Hollywood movies.
Hollywood copied their streaming idea
Only amerimutts and other anglos have to worry about ISP strikes and infringement notices. They're the absolute cucks.
>How is netflix gonna answer to that?
Netflix puts out original movies every few weeks now, along with putting out shows.
private internet access And nord vpn.
there was a news article of how the fbi asked pia to provide logs which they responded to they dont have any
>I've gone back to pirating.
A lot of other people have done that as well.
>When it comes to media consumption convenience is king.
That is true. People might be willing to hassle with couple streaming services, but everyone going on their own is backfiring. Disney has enough content offer services that can be worth paying for if they aren't going too greedy with pricing, even if they keep it brand separated a bit to protect their family friendly image.
>But why would they sign Hulu when Netflix has more content for a lower price?
Disney might offer Disney+ and Hulu at price that isn't much higher than Netflix. Their marketing department can spin it positively to normies.
Disney can stop licensing their back catalogue to Netflix in addition to keeping new stuff exclusive, they don't even have to be aggressive about it, they can just not renew existing licensing agreements. They have massive first party back catalogue of their own after Fox merger. Fox merger also gives them options of releasing stuff on Hulu with stacked releases prior to broadcasting it on tv. Disney has become so big in media industry over the years, that is it kinda scary how much they control.
t. netflix
If I see Netflix Original, I stay away.
Your loss.
Based pirate.
>Muh quality
You quality fags are the graphics fags of Yea Forums.
I watched a "1080p" stream on Netflix and there was banding and artifacting out the ass on any big blocks of color
They plan to.
Netflix is, and will always be a glorified video on demand service. Their most viewed content are licensed TV sitcoms that ended years ago. Most of their subscribers don't give a shit about their "Originals"
It's like going to the Supermarket and they quietly ditched all the name brands and replaced everything with the Supermarket brand. No thanks.
>what is corporate boot licking
It's not evil but choice isn't inherently pro consumer.
everything on it sucks i turn it off after like 2 minutes theres literally nothing to watch
Netflix officially died when Hulu partnered with HBO.
Witcher is literally peak SJW cuck kino.
Who but an absolute fagget would actually get excited over it?
>People might be willing to hassle with couple streaming services
I wasn't even willing to deal with more than 1. Mainly because everything that isn't Neetflix has commercials. Which is the #1 reason I pirated and then later subscribed to Netflix. Television is literally unwatchable now with 10 minutes of show and 3-5 minutes of commercials going back and forth for the entire broadcasting schedule. I gave Hulu an honest chance when I wanted to watch the last season of P&R but the 'choose your own commercial' aspect of it was just fucking insulting as a consumer. Netflix and Prime Video are the only streaming services I've enjoyed. And don't get me started on the Networks themselves' websites. To watch new episodes online you need a fucking cable TV subscription, which defeats the entire purpose of using internet streaming services when DVR is standard in all tv subscriptions. I'd suffer through ads if the streamable episodes were "free" but fuck those assholes for locking shit behind a cable subscription on their goddamn websites.
looks like a znes filter
Going to post this Spoony graph to show the power of people forgetting to cancel payments.
Even 'failed' Netflix will be valuable.
You must never interact with 20 year old women if you think Disney channel constitutes a must-buy.
Which Disney exec posted this again?
Yeah, really. All these kike companies are taking their content off of already existing platforms just to make a few more dollars. Why would anyone pay for multiple streaming services if they're just going to cost more than cable?
wasn't a disney exec or someone even paid by the mouse. they're doing it for free
>I wasn't even willing to deal with more than 1. Mainly because everything that isn't Neetflix has commercials.
Personally I find putting commercials on paid subscription service as pretty much peak stupidity. What the fuck they were thinking? Aside from shekels. Getting rid of the commercials was the point of paid premium channels on cable and satellite TV decades ago.
>Television is literally unwatchable now with 10 minutes of show and 3-5 minutes of commercials going back and forth for the entire broadcasting schedule.
More than three or four commercial breaks per hour is absolutely unacceptable.
>kids shows and super hero movies
if it was free i wouldnt get it
This actually pissed me off enough to call customer service. Seems like the only time I get close to 1080p, let alone 4k, is when I use the neetflix app on my tv.
>kids shows and movies
>movies and shows everyone's seen
>all the shitty seasons of the simpsons
this doesn't even sound worth it at all
Actual Disney fans resemble quite disturbingly an genuine cult.
Is it classic NatGeo stuff or is it 50 seasons of "Hardcore Alaskan Oil Drilling and Bear Trapping"
Even Stevens and Jet Jackson were the only good ones. Brink was the only good original movie too even though it was about fruitbooters
>seeding
>ever
>not using private trackers
honestly lads get it done right now, i started two years ago and im already at the top
NEW THREAD
>muh tea
>muh taxes
lol, this fucking lobsterback.
Honestly, this. Just like with the Wii -> PS Move / Kinect -> Xbox Avatars. Innovators innovate while trogs copy and "tweak".
>why yes, of course I have torrents running 24/7 and even sleep with the incessant whining of a computer and HDD cracking, you gotta stay on top of your ratio to belong to the private tracker master race if you want slightly superior torrents
>no Our Family Doctor
Shit collection desu
>Paying for streaming
You’re genuinely retarded
DL: 1.31TB, UL: 5.50TB, 6 gorillion bonus points spent to buff stats, over 9000 bonus points left.
That's already 4 too many. The only advantage of a streaming service over piracy is the easy access and brainless intuitive system. If I need to pay 5 times to have 5 different search bars look into each of them separately to watch a nigger sjw cuck show... The fuck am i doing? Tpb has a centralized system, bye.
Literally shows stuff I've never downloaded lol
this post was made by an american
>since Netflix has been shitting the bed for years no
What people don’t realize is that previously Netflix was the monopoly and they got to decide which content you could stream. If they didn’t like it, you were fucked.
Luckily I had a local video store where I was able to rent the Alien trilogy and when they decided to close I bought a lot of their films
