I see a mech. So I will say yes. I think it's time for mech kino. Gundam is already being made right? I'm also hoping for a Battletech cinematic universe. MECHS! We need more of them.

Pacific rim and its sequel flopped tho, so they're not reliable box office hits

BT was best boy of 2016 and Titanfall 2 has probably one of the best single player campaigns of any fps.

Pacific Rim was retarded though. Even your average mecha anime is not that unrealistic.

>poor 3rd worlders fighting a big evil capitalist empire and winning

Boring.

It wasn't even a good concept for a videogame

Yes, as long as they also include the parkour from the pilots. I could see that being a really fun film.

This.

Better as a movie than that shit video game

>Would Titanfall be a good concept for a film adaptation?
eh, yeah, probably.
the crux of the film would have to be the relationship between the mech and his pilot

take that back

Titanfall 2 would be a brilliant movie.

Is the Surge any good?

No it's just a generic sci-fi (Still better than Halo though).

I figured a Titanfall movie would be up Neil Blomkamp's alley. As long as he's strictly doing the action and visuals and stays away from the screenplay.

Of it was just pure action kino then yes.

probably

Only if they keep the strong bromance between the main character and BT

I played to the part where you've just recently got your titan and you fight through the first wave of titans you fight in yours and are in a sewer culvert type thing.

I know it's early but does it get significantly better and more apt to get me invested? I've heard from everyone that story/character wise it's actually excellent, I assume that BT is a big part of that and it takes time for him to develop?

Yes. Definitely stick with it.

BT will draw you in

Can Pathfinder cameo?
