Fury Road is the best action film since The Matrix and we'll be lucky if we get something this good for another 20 years
Hard to be a God
Under The Skin
The Embrace of the Serpent
Holy Motors
BR2049
Bladerunner 2049
How many times have you watched Fury Road? I've seen it 3 times now.
6
3x in theaters. Best was when I saw it at the Dolby theater with the subwoofers inside the seats
I WANT TOM HARDY TO MOLEST ME!
This flick was boring as shit
cringe
It does look great.
Is Mad Max car porn? I couldn't tell what any of the cars were...unlike a movie like Ronin where I knew all the cars.
3, just watched it again 2 weeks ago with my gf, she loved it.
despite its flaws Phantom Thread looked and sounded great
Fuck I dont even know anymore but way too many times
Hating BR2049 in order to be "patrician" is the most cringe and bluepilled stance you can take
Based
Does the decade start in 2010 or 2011?
If 2010 then gotta include Tron Legacy
Only God Forgives
Skyfall
The VVitch
Enemy
Fury Road
Isle of Dogs
Tree of Life
Blade Runner 2049
Kubo and the two strings
Prometheus
Spiderman Into the Spiderverse
Pacific Rim
Honorable mentions to
John Wick 2
The Last Jedi
All other movies made by Refn, PTA, Wes Anderson in this timeframe
In college we got obsessed with mad max and we basically had it on the TV in the background any time we were hanging out. I've probably gotten drunk and watched the movie at least 20 times. We saw Road warrior a lot too. Only a few showings of 1 and like Thunderdome only maybe 3 times for obvious reasons
BvS, unironically.
>Under The Skin
If I ever find myself stranded on a desert island with SJ, I plan to break the ice thus:
>Hi, I'm [x]...
>[Scarjo] I'm Scarlett, you can call me Jo
>You look familiar, are you from TV?
>[Scarjo]...
>Wait, were you the girl in that Scottish film? What was it called...
>[Scarjo] (Smiles, giggles)
>(Stay deadpan until she double-takes)
>JK, lol
>[Scarjo] (laughs and punches me on the shoulder)
>Ice broken
Any Zack Snyder movie.
Have you ever talked to girls, user?
Prometheus and Alien:Covenant.
name your picks faggot
BASED AND REDPILLED
Fury Road
Blade Runner 2049
Either John Wick (and hopefully Chapter 3 too!)
Dredd, maybe?
If I didn't convey the idea, I break the ice by pretending that I only know her from Under the Skin. Girl's like being scared slightly as long as it's temporary.
FPBP
>The Tree of Life
>Prometheus
>The Great Beauty
>Noah
>Mad Max Fury Road
>Batman v Superman
>Alien Covenant
Avatar 2 is coming.
B&RP
Very true
Avatar 1 was shit so why would avatar 2 be any better?
The only way it would be any good is if the humans were the good guys and it was all just scenes of the retarded communist space cats getting slaughtered en masse.
>so far
It's 2019, bro. Decade is practically over.
>Best was when I saw it at the Dolby theater with the subwoofers inside the seats
Are you familiar with the term nigger bass? Nigger.
Have you ever talked to girls?
To the Wonder
Computer Chess
127 Hours
OK you faggots, you convinced, I'm going to watch Fury Road
I hope I'm not being baited
For me my favorite film is Alita Battle Angel
>I hope I'm not being baited
You're not. Enjoy.
You are. Got 'em.
I love this movie max reminds me of a mad dog with a muzzle on

Absolutely based
ahhh yes, truly the best looking film of this entire decade
Good one I like the aesthetics here
>Have you ever talked to girls?
Of course, but I never had sex
For me, it's Joker™
Lol at that filename.
t. mousecuck
You’re a sexy guy.
>muh
educate yourself newfriend
>for obvious reasons
That you are a retard?
John Wick 1 and 2 are fantastic as well
Can't believe Fury Road UHD BluRay isn't 4K.
I mostly watch films for aesthetics and my top few of the decade so far are (in no real order):
Spring Breakers
Only God Forgives
American Honey
The Master
12 Years A Slave
Melancholia
Apart from Fury Road, what are the best (of the decade) full color movies to re-watch in B&W?
In terms of cinematography
The Revenant (quite possibly the best shot film of all time)
Fury Road
The Master
Sicario
BR2049
The Tree of Life
are the first that come to mind
>Pacific Rim
wtf man
>The Revenant (quite possibly the best shot film of all time)
Why don't you just watch actual B&W films from this decade?
what's that?
For me, it's Beyond the Black Rainbow.
And Annihilation.
It's a great looking film with incredible design sense. The thread asked for looks, not for likes. I didn't love all the movies on my list but they all looked great.
Forgot this one, incredible.
Some decent picks here too.
>[Scarjo] I'm Scarlett, you can call me Jo
>You look like a good Jo.
Mandy
Under the Skin
Annihilation
The Witch
BR2049
The Neon Demon
Iawtc, it was an amazing movie despite all the Charlize Theron, she was alright though. It saddens me a new sequel is basically in development hell bc of the lawsuit between WB and George Miller. It’s a sad time to be a Mad Max or Friday the 13th fan
The house that jack built. Lots of pretty pictures.
mentally ill virgins are triggered by BR2049 like nothing else. That one freak made three threads a day about it for an entire year
Reddit please go.
Didn't see it yet, is uncut blu-ray out already?
BvS will definitely be a cult classic in a few years time. For better or worse it was drastically different than its competition, and standing out is pretty good in an era defined by superhero films.
The smoke grenade shot is the closest thing we've gotten to Sin City in a while.
>likes Fury Road
>like BR2
No you.
Yes. Not that poster but I watched a few of the differences and actually preferred the R rated version. The quicker you get to the last half hour of the film the better.
thanks
Yea Forums should have its own awards season
that results in nothing but capeshit and memes
Aquaman
Then that's what you get for Yea Forums's pick.
>smoke grenade shot
remind me what this looked like? or when it happened so I can look it up?
Best looking blockbusters:
Man Of Steel
The Last Jedi
Mad Max: Fury Road
Blade Runner 2049
Dunkirk
Interstellar
Gravity
X-Men: First Class
It is my 15th favorite movie
listchallenges.com
>X-Men: First Class
I like it but it was quite ugly.
you people know nothing of cinematography wow
name your picks faggot
The Semen Demon
4 times now. watched it again last week
kys
will undoubtedly go down as the biggest and best film in the 21st century whether Yea Forums likes it or not.
This thread is about great looking films from this decade, not about feature lenght chinese made videogame cutscenes.
Damn, I need to rewatch this.
hol up she shows her boobies?
I'd say Ronin is mostly about the driving aspect of cars while Mad Max is mostly about the insane stunts and custom rebuilds.
Mad max is about people who live and breath cars. Ronin is porn for car enthusiasts whose knowledge of cars is car magazines
Yeah, that giant cgi dust cloud was awesome.
that necro scene though
anyone who disagrees with this is a contrarian r/movies poweruser
fury road is a contender.
my favorite is br2049
Without having gone there a single time in my life, I can assure you they ate that shit up like every other 90IQ hipster on the internet.
those are some clean fingernails...............
I'm OK with this assertion.
Also, pic related is a strong contender for the best-looking film of the decade.
I think it had a lot of flaws, but it was visually stunning.
Gravity might be the high point for photorealistic CG thus far. Does anything else even come close?
nice catch user
survivalist trick: sand scrubs off pretty much everything extraordinarily well, you can wash your hands and even dishes with sand
I also enjoyed watching Sandra Bullock float around half naked
Post yours you negative JERKS
>NOOO I CAN'T AD HOMINEM THEM BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE USER NAMES REDDIT HELP MEEE
The Raid 1 and 2 are better.
>
>I'm OK with this assertion.

>Also, pic related is a strong contender for the best-looking film of the decade.
Interstellar blows that pile of shit right out of the water.
Interstellar was a better movie, but Gravity had a better color palette and it mopped the floor with Interstellar on the VFX front.
