at one point... what else is there to discuss. i have seen the movie and liked it. i have read the manga for free in a bookstore in 1998, thought it was not really interesting since it was a bit passé already back then, others manga have built upon it by that time. so yea, they will make a sequel to that movie and that's fine. i don't think it would be a good thing to milk it into 8 movies or more... but maybe a trilogy to round it all up nicely would be ok. what else is there to say about it? the bizarre shilling just make sense in a made up war against caped shit but really ... thats sad, find a real war pls, obsessed bizarro fans makes alita look queer for the normies.

In the manga it's said only the spine (and I guess the rest of the CNS) are the only parts that cybernetics can't replace. Is this the case in the movie too? We see several cyborgs with armored spinal columns, like Grewishka, and the guy who gets his head knocked off by Alita, so I'm guessing so . They don't want anything to happen to their spine. Maybe the metal parts on their spine are also for interfacing with a cyborg body.
