Fuck off Netflix. Why do you delay everything by two years? But that's neat. I've always like Z Nation because it's a mix of comedy and drama. I didn't like 5th series as much because 1. Everybody claims Warren is hot and she looks way older and not hot 2. They changed her hair and made her look like a whore 3. They made her the central figure rather than Murphy 4. They spent several episodes going back and forth USA and Canada and it came off as obvious filler 5. They weren't sure whether to give Murphy back his powers
Positives? Abby fucked off. Seriously, she was annoying as fuck despite making her a lesbian. The dyke looking Marine being straight was a much better character, she had a purpose and gave the group another range weapon user instead of just 10K and Warren (and then made Warren some weird fucking shield user which was odd). Murphy is still the best character. 10K is cool too because he looks like he knows how to hold a gun. Oh the scenes using the scopes was gay as fuck, weren't even pointing over them but they were firing, wasn't even a 'leading the target' thing. It was just lazy.

Z Nation is the former. Bar that one episode where zombies get into an amphetamine store and can run (they also get erections due to Viagra). They can only be killed via heatshots or destroying the brain. 5th Season they add zombies which cannot be killed unless you mash their head into pulp and even then they're still technically 'alive', but they're not all of them. These ones are also slightly smarter and slightly faster. It's explained as mutation of the virus (since it's set 8 years after the original outbreak). The vast majority are Romero Zombies. Remember, this is largely a comedy series with part drama. It isn't SO SERIOUS like Walking Dead. It's much better though because bar 5th season it actually has progression (and even 5th is nothing as bad as TWD).

Actually, no. The man she is hugging in the trailer is actually an Asian man who saves her from a zombie simply because was in the right place at the right time. She thinks he can help her because of his outfit but he's actually a crook who killed a White soldier by taking advantage of his kindness and stole his military fatigues. Now she's sticking with him and a larger group to get to the Stadium which seems to be the finale according to the files.

I like it so far. It's basically a short videogame from multiple points of view with them getting from point A to point B with more and more shit being thrown at them.

I think itd be nice to see a show that does this multiple character perspective across the entire world, rather than everybody being from the same suburb

Actually he was the only White guy. The rest were Latinos and the Korean. It was overall a dumb move because he thought he could get them to dump her and allow them to leave the diner. He ended up getting dumped out instead. It was the most predictable death so far.

I will say however, that the show isn't only killing White people. Lots of Latinos and the few Asians are getting killed as well and most of the deaths so far have been out of nowhere. The group could be driving around and blam, one of them just dies right there.

It happened that portraying minorities committing crimes is now racist, so, whites take the burden.

There's not a lot of whining. There's no black characters in this show, there's an equal number of minorities and whites dying and there's only been one blatantly anti-white scene so far. I'm starting episode 7 right now. So far, I'm entertained despite that one scene.

I've never seen Z-Nation so whatever. I feel like I just watched a zombie video game. The ending is pretty ho-hum but overall, it was a pretty action-packed little webseries.

I just finished it and here's my ratings.

Overall: 6 out of 10 (Better than expected!)

Zombies: 5 out of 10 (could be more inventive)

Action: 7 out of 10 (fast paced and mostly action)

Degeneracy: 3 out of 10 (surprisingly very little Jewish crap)

Overall, I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. It was slightly above average zombie fare but had decent action scenes. In terms of whether /pol/ will like it, there's no Black characters, there's an equal number of Whites and Minorities dying, there is zero racemixing, and there's only 1 blatantly anti-white scene.

If you like zombies and want to watch something in the background, I say go for it. Just don't expect it to be amazing.

I saw an episode or two of that and this doesn't look like Z-nation at all.

There's not really any focus on the zombies except when one of the group gets turned and it moves to their perspective to hunt the survivors down. There's a lot of scenes where people in the group die and turn. The virus is airborne so it doesn't matter if you get bit.

Is Z Nation any good? I stuck with TWD and regret it immensely since it was downhill after the first season. Picked back up a bit with Negan but by then I'd already checked out on the series after all the dumb shit. Never checked out Z Nation though and have been in the mood for some zombie kino lately.

The first season is more or less serious, then it gets wacky as fuck. You have balls of zombies rolling down country roads, the protags filling up the Grand Canyon with a horde, nuclear explosion, a God King of zombies, a post-post-post Apocalypse and such things.
It's really fucking fun.
