makes me physically ill
playing an upbeat modern rock song after jaime gets his hand cut off in GOT
i know its not a movie but it deserves mention for how bad it is
I liked this
Suicide Squad in general
imagine listening to Panic at the Disco doing a Queen cover and thinking 'this shit is dope"
youtube.com
We all like things that are awful. It's okay user.
Same, literally can't watch it.
probably that
final boss of cringe. this had to be intentional
as ridiculous as this bullshit is it's kinda hype. the part where BB starts walking and muttering the lyrics gives me chills.
I can't believe this is real. When was this movie made? I've never heard of it.
youtu.be
I feel bad for Andrew Garfield desu
this would have worked if they just wrote a bloody shanty
millenial wave pop or whatever that is is instant cancer
this is probably exactly how Leonard Cohen wanted that song used, unironically
2015
ah, i almost forgot about this.
Don't know about the worst but I know about the best.
4u
Any Tarantino movie. He just puts random songs that think will fit. Most of the time it doesn't work.
Wait, there is no fucking way this is real.
It's real isn't it.
Mr. Bean should have won the race and kept the money.
Non-american poster here, what's so cringe about it? For me, it doesn't seem that awful.
Sex scenes in movies are always fucking weird
I'll got watch porn if I want to get off thanks hollywood.
FOOOR YOUUU
Muh song about a lady's deodorant is sacrosanct.
did you copy this comment from youtube? be honest now
in all these years im pretty sure i never watched more than the first minute and a half of this video what the fuck
The amazing spider-man movies were so fucking shit.
someone should edit this so hes shitposting and forming a case against the jews
Was looking for this post.
that scene went on way too fucking ong
ah-bloo-bloo
it's just such a bad song to use as a pirate shanty, makes no sense at all and feels like it's only put it in so the audience recognizes it.
This feels like some intentionally ridiculous broadway shit that was seen by some higher-up in marketing and taken unironically.
Cobain was against literally everything that stands for. He is probably rolling in his grave that his legacy is being raped by corporate interests.
>song literally about sex
>used for sex scene
hmmm
the Dylan cover over the credits was infinitely more offensive
Dude blew his head off right? Only thing he is rolling around in is satans jizz.
Saw this scene on TV a few months ago
I couldn't believe how bad and cringe this was
Has there ever been a more out of place usage of a song on a film?
>makes no sense at all
It was put in to showcase how Neverland was existed outside of time, with BB's crew grooving to a "modern" song in front of a WWII orphan. It made perfect sense.
He cute
because it's being used in a really out of place and out of touch way. i think part of the problem is that even though we all love Nirvana they're not really cool any more and they only make sense within their own time. it's not an old enough song to feel like a retro throwback, it's just old enough to be no longer edgy within the culture, except the movie clearly thinks it's really edgy, and Nirvana definitely thought they were really edgy. so it's like the movie is embarrassing itself but also it's embarrassing Nirvana and embarrassing us for liking them
they could've proved that point by using literally any other song.
Watchmen in general was pretty bad. Whenever they used a song it felt incredibly on the nose. Yes I know that's a thing the book does with lyrics but on screen it comes off hamfisted.
Come to think of it, was that song even in Mystery Men? Mystery Men was kino anyways
I can't tell if you're joking or not?
this was funny
This is the worst use of anything in any form of media ever
No wonder Pan flopped like an impotent donkey cock.
Not a film but Umbrellas Academy used Istanbul by They Might Be Giants for a fight scene and it made me cringe hard.
And yet they chose the song that's been the soundtrack for little boys who don't want to grow up.
Is this only retarded because it's out of context or is it actually this bad?
As far I remember, you could take almost any song they used in Watchmen and say the same thing.
Is this better in context? Like it looks dumb as fuck but does it make more sense in the show?
>the kid has clearly dropped his rifle
>it's clearly putting out ~9 more rounds as it falls
>Is this Canada
What does that even mean? What is the joke?
I couldn't help but notice that kid has ear piercings
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
where was the guy whose job it was to stop this sort of thing?
The kids are from an orphanage(That's situated in London during the Blitz, yet full of kids for some fucking reason) and lately a whole lot of kids have been "adopted" by people in Canada. That's the moment the kid realises that all his friends haven't gone to live happy lives with a family in Canada, they've been abducted by pirates with a flying pirate ship just like he just was.
straight from the youtube comments. it's actually that bad
Based
>looks over a calculator like its the first time he's seen one
>What is Roosevelt??
>tapes an entire picture frame to his wall
>FOR YOUUUUUUUUUUUU
this never stops being hilarious
What matters here the most is, that the director uses it in a very hamfisted way. I can see it working, but only if the director knows exactly how to mix it with the visuals. Here, not so much.
BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Not a real song but obligatory cringe right here.
not that i want to defend adam sandler but isnt the whole point that its terrible and cringeworthy? i dont think it really counts if its trying to be awful.
yikes
>watching Shazam
>kid in a grown man's body playing around with his superpowers
>I'M A SEX MACHINE READY TO RELOOAAAD
I think it's possible to do the ironic cringe shtick so badly that it become unironic
Reserving this post to edit later with the songs I find.
i get what youre trying to say but if someone is trying really hard to be cringeworthy its never as bad as someone who thinks theyre being cool or something.
obviously as seen by pacinos own reaction by the end, it just feels like this is the kind of stuff Sandler wants to make
This will never not be funny
its clear that adam sandler does not give a fuck anymore and just purposely produces the worst trash to see what he can get away with
granted these last few years he's been trying to step his game up and he's working with the directors of Good Time this year
this is the dumbest thing i have ever seen
hallelujah in watchmen is the cringiest thing imaginable, it basically ruined the whole film
the person who sings it is some kind of creepy non-christian scumbag, which makes it even worse
Eh, I'll take Amazing Bulk over Sharknado any day.
>they keep doing the stupid dance even after the kid is tackled and disarmed
This is a rip off of the same song used to good effect in Moulin Rouge except in Pan doesn't work here at all.
youtu.be
I honestly can't blame the school shooter for not just gunning them down, I'd be fucking baffled at that shit too.
>legacy is being raped by corporate interests.
>became the posterboy forMTV and the "grunge" fad that nailed the coffin shut for rock music
There is no context to make that okay
I totally believe that because he knows people will see his movies regardless of how shitty they are, so he can just make anything and hire all his buddies for easy paychecks.
I can already imagine one day a movie that's just him and all his actor friends hanging out in his backyard of his mansion for two hours, just talking about shit and it would make millions.
I absolutely loathe """contemporary dance""".
This movie was atrocious through and through
Cobain hated being famous and never wanted what he got from it. It was other people that pushed all that shit on him and made him bigger than he wanted to be.
>he's working with the directors of Good Time
I didn't believe you but reading about the movie it actually sounds pretty good
fuck off, it was great
Suicide Squad have one of the worst editing of the last two decades. It makes me cringe how the music was placed randomly.
>was that song even in Mystery Men?
I don't think so.
Awesome movie for the most part.
Came on right before they rolled credits.
I never liked Nirvana and Cobain was an insufferable heroin addict. Massively overrated band.
cringe
Idc this is funny
Look, let me end this thread with the correct answer: Gran Torino, as sung by Clint Eastwood. Worst ever,
Its in the credits scene.
t. watched mystery men 100 times on vhs
As a kid, I thought Highlander and Queen were a bit of a mismatch. It's an acquired taste.
This
Grunge killed mainstream rock. Pretty much every post-grunge rock band is just whiny emo shit, pop rock or copycats of older bands. No real innovation anymore.
>hating on based Don't stop me now, song that fits the scene perfectly
=[
You were born a faggot, huh?
youtu.be
So bad it became a meme
brainlets here are taking it out of context, yeah
Some poor taste is resuscitatable but some is beyond the pale.
Holy shit, I'd never seen the original before. That's hilarious.
Is there an mmmbop edit?
Haven't watched the movie, but depending on the story this might not be that bad.
If Jackman was taken from the nineties and has spent all that time in Neverland it would make sense for them to sing that.
Slightly better in context, still a slap in the face to the viewer.
This one is... epic :^)
youtu.be
I don't really get why shoolshootings are always treated as some unstoppable force when most of them usually involve few lone fags with barely a t-shirt and hoodie.
For a school that churns out gunfags like him, you would think at least the same or worse happens to some other spergs that could stop him in his track.
It's sad that for a culture that raises kids on comic books and hero worshipping, all they could do is lie still and hope the gunner won't shoot them despite being in full clear view.
I know that this rarely happens, but at least show some kind of resistance for once. They'll get scorn by their parents, sure but in a shooting, it's all about fight or flight, and when the latter is no longer an option, the former should be.
Welp, guess I'm not watching that show after all.
Holy shit, that kind of dance is as bad as slam poetry. Truly loathsome.
This might seriously be the worst scene ever professionally filmed. I think it might actually be worse than the Catwoman basketball scene.
I just can't understand how the middle class people into that kind of contemporary dance can't understand how profoundly cringey they look. It's such a sanctimonious kind of dancing too, it just bleeds self-righteousness. I guess the explanation is just that people who do that shit are the worst kinds of the most insufferable faggots (I say this as a bisexual).
imagine if he just gunned them all down LMFAO
>hey man I finally opened up this email my grandkid sent to me a year ago and it had this really funny video in it, why don't we put it in the movie?
honestly it's a pretty cool villain introduction, but the song choice was ridiculous
I liked it as well.
Hugh Jackman manages to convey emotion and disgust while singing the song as he walks out on deck. This truly shows how good an actor he is.
I really like TMBG, but their music is used in super cringe shit all the time.
The scene in Pushing Daisies where they sing Birdhouse in your Soul comes to mind
youtube.com
seriously FUCK zoomers
this looks so fucking bad. what's the actual context?
that was
atrocious
Gangnam Style out of nowhere in This is the End was pretty bad
Didn't even fit the context (drug trip)
sounds fine
when No Doubt started playing in Captain Marvel
yikies
>Man this is just like a scene out of a Taratino movie! Let's put some rock music in it!
How embarrassing
certified pleb-filter
Oh please. They signed a deal with the Devil. They could've stayed on Sub Pop if they wanted to stay indie.
any time pop music is used in a film is also the worst use
The Morning After used in The Posiedon Adventure. Pure cringe to put in the popular song of the year so prominently.
